An adorable ice cream shop with homemade flavors that super unique. There's a Mediterranean flare to most of them using spices like cardamom and honey or rose water and cinnamon. I wish I could've tried them all. I got to sample the Baklava which had a lot of pistachios in it. Then we got two scoops to share - mango sticky rice and an orange blossom dates and honey. Definitely loved the dates ice cream flavor more, it was light and refreshing. Not super sweet. Just lovely. The mango sticky rice was a very thick consistency similar to the glutinous rice it's based off of but a bit too heavy for me. Very true to the original taste though! The staff was very friendly and the cafe was clean and well decorated.

They have unique kind of ice creams and they keep changing the menu. I felt it was quite an innovative collection. The place is nicely decorated and gives good vibes. There purple yam and baklava collections were good. We have to have a good appetite for ice creams to visit the place as the portions are large.

Very nice stop for frozen treats and Unicone has an especially nice selection of vegan options including a mango sticky rice ice cream. They had some vegan baked goods too! While I have had better ice cream from other artisan shops, I did really enjoy their unique Le Sultan dessert. With a Turkish style floss base and two flavors of ice cream (Baklava and Fleur d'Orange), this was a nice change of pace from the norm. The place had spacious seating (though only a few tables) that is bright and comfortable. Service was friendly and fast!

TLDR: creative soft serve flavors in a cute spot The shop features rotating soft serve flavors. At the time each twist of soft serve had one flavor of ice cream and one flavor of sorbet. The combination makes for a great creamy yet refreshing treat. I ordered the pinacolada which was a combination of coconut ice cream and pineapple sorbet. The coconut was milky but carried a distinct fruity flavor while the pineapple was cool and sharply flavored. The shop is brightly decorated and a fitting space to enjoy the creative desserts.

I'm always on a quest to find the best vegan ice cream, i have tasted some amazing ones and i could stop there but why would I? So many places to be discovered.... Today I tried Unicone, i was going to have the pina colada but the machine ran out at my cone. I did try it from my boyfriend's cone it, was delicious but was forced to try something even more decadent. Loukoum ice cream... strawberry, rose water ice cream with pieces of loukoum.... Oh my.... My second favorite vegan ice cream so far, so unexpectedly delicious. They have international uncommon flavors that are worth discovering!!!

I heard about this place for so long and finally had a to try it. This week's soft serve flavor is dulce de leche with hibiscus and peach sorbet. The dulce de leche was really good and creamy. I didn't like as much the sorbet side. Also the dulce de leche really covered up most of the sorbet flavor. I would still go back to try their different colorful and exotic ice cream flavors.

Velvety smooth, interestingly creative mix of very intense and accurate flavours, an instagramable flowery backdrop and a clever, funny neon sign fits right in with the top ice cream shops in Montreal - a great delicious treat for the dog days of summer.

It looked cute, so I was glad to sample some of their offerings. From what I can gather, Kem CoBa specializes in specialty ice cream and sorbet flavors, though they also have a small selection of pastries as well. Specifically, they have unique flavor combinations that I had not seen elsewhere. We did not get to choose our flavor during our visit, which was okay as we got one that was quite tasty: raspberry lychee swirled with rose. I was a little hesitant about the rose at first but it wasn't overly floral and paired well with the sweetness of the raspberry. The ice cream was soft serve, and was super smooth. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with Kem CoBa. The ice cream was smooth and tasty, and the offer a product that is not typically seen in other ice cream parlors. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

The chocolate ice cream on the other hand is super saturated (note the Dutch chocolate is the same as the sea salt except the salt). While I loved the ice cream, unless I'm specifically in the mood for something creamy, I actually think I would prefer to get the sorbets next time for the more concentrated gelato-like flavor. The matcha sorbet seemed like a winner, but they also have such a wide range of delicious flavors. They let you try some flavors, which is perfect for an indecisive person like me. We first got a double scoop of the Orange and Arctic Fire Sorbets. I'm not usually one to get orange-flavoured desserts/drinks since I can easily get some old-fashioned OJ, but this Orange Sorbet was absolutely divine on the hot day. Sweet and tangy, yet not overpowering. The Arctic Fire was an interestingly sweet with a floral tone - I wish I remembered the main ingredient, but I was too busy indulging in my ice-cream/sorbet addiction. The sorbets were incredibly good. After we devoured them, we went back in immediately to try more flavours. My friend and I ultimately decided on the Mango and Passion Fruit Sorbets, both representing tangy fruits that we enjoy and love. The owner highly recommended the Cantaloupe to help us cool off, and proceeded to give us a free scoop on top of our packed cup! We were so appreciative of the free scoop, and I'm glad we got to try it out! It was my favourite flavour - it genuinely tasted straight like the fruit, just an ice-y form. My friend's favourite was the Orange. If you're in the Mont-Royal area, make sure to give this place a try! I wish we tried some of their ice-cream flavours, but we already did 5 different sorbet flavours that night. Couldn't afford a brain freeze! I think from now on, I'm gonna start trying Orange-flavoured desserts/drinks.
