Like many others have said, the wait times are ridiculously long for a teller. Even when you see a teller, depending on which one they take a long time to process the deposit transactions of checks. I visited the U.S. Bank San Bruno branch to withdraw $900, but the teller mistakenly processed the withdrawal as $700 and issued an incorrect receipt. When I noticed the error, I immediately went to the Serramonte branch to correct it. Their staff reviewed my account history, confirmed the teller's mistake, and corrected the transaction. I was thanked for being honest and returning promptly. However, the following morning (January 30), I received a call from a manager who spoke to me in a way that felt accusatory, repeatedly asking me to bring in my receipt--as if I had done something wrong. I explained that the receipt itself reflected the teller's error, which is why I returned to the bank in the first place. I was not trying to make a complaint or gain anything; I only wanted to correct the mistake and avoid trouble for the teller. I have been a long-time customer for many years, and this was my first negative experience. Being spoken to in this tone--especially after acting honestly and responsibly--was disappointing and unnecessary. Errors can happen, but customers should not be made to feel suspected when they are clearly trying to do the right thing. read more

Your Branch Manager, Alex, should attend a course on how to deal with customers. Had a rude encounter with him. He was very condescending and seemed angry in interacting with him. I was very uncomfortable. read more

Excellent customer service, We had fraud on our account, we had to block the accounts and start fresh with new account and staff understood our needs and fix our concerns. Alex the branch manager, Vivian and Nandini the bankers came together and assisted me on opening new accounts and ordering checks. We were able to stop any other checks from coming through for the fraud! read more

On Saturday there was only one checker and 14 people in line. This is unacceptable and I really feel that we should move our accounts.

It's really difficult to find an 800 number of their website so I made an appointment for a phone call this morning. I received several reminders. It's now 1 hour past the time of the call and I haven't heard anything. Nothing more to say about their service or Catalina Orsorio. read more

Don't expect good customer service here. We came down from the City for help. The balance U.S. Bank branches that remain open had dismal ratings, this branch has 5 stars. Instead of escalating our problem, the teller simply told us to call the number... The branch was not busy. She could have escalated but chose not to. read more

No one is available to answer calls at the branch and automative answering is even worse to deal with. It actually gives a 1-800 number and drops the call. They have money to buy out another banking institution and can't hire proper staffing just to save money off of the clients. On the very first day I visited this branch, I was immediately welcomed by Mr. Christian Crisostomo and he made my banking experience very memorable, which led us to switch branches. He treats every customer with such grace and is very sincere and genuine when greeting us and making sure our needs are a top priority. The staff is always so courteous and sweet! They make my trip into the bank a pleasant one. It always amazes me that they remember my name and my son's name. They really do treat all of their customers like family and friends! After my initial review about their ATM, the branch manager, Christian, reached out to me to personally apologize. He explained that the ATM machine itself was from a third party vendor who he's been in contact with to try and resolve the issues with the machine. With all the negative things you hear about certain banks, you'd never think you could find a bank that actually treats their customers like family and friends. The employees here always greet me with a big smile and you can tell that they genuinely enjoy what they do. I used to just use the ATM, but now i always make it a point to do my banking inside. There's always parking, i never have to wait long in line, and even when there is people, their service makes it worth the wait. A big plus is that they don't try to make me open accounts that I don't want nor need (unlike my previous bank!) . They're friendly, efficient and professional. Awesome bank! Plenty of parking, very clean inside, fast service, and super friendly staff. They're all so professional and nice and helpful. They always greet me and make me feel welcome when I go there. I appreciate the coffee they offer, but I really really love the fruit-Infused water they have for customers. I must say that US Bank is a wonderful bank to bank with! I go to the US Bank located at The San Bruno Towne Center 1300 El Camino Real, San Bruno Ca 94066 and the service there is excellent! The management there is so "VERY" helpful and OnPoint with helping you and getting right back to you! Chris ( Who so kind) is the manager of this branch helped me with a rather lenghty and difficlt and time consuming banking issue that I had going on, Chris got right back to me when he said he would each and everytime and he helped me above and beyond with my banking needs! The end result was "Very Satisfied" with all his help!! Also the assistant manager is kind and very helpful as well! So If you are looking for a bank to bank with... A couple of years ago I gave a 4 start because I do a lot of banking through the ATM - and it was terrible. Lately, not so bad. BUT - the staff at this location is the best! Gloria, Vivian and Rouale are always helpful! Christian, the manager, will always get to the bottom of any issue you feel you have. I stay with US Bank because of these people.
