Do not purchase anything on line, Worst decision, as there are no Customer Service, no phone numbers to speak about returns. I sent an email after searching for a while on their website, got no answer. I bought an XS V neck pullover sweater and the neck was too low, I wanted to return or exchange it I couldn't so I had to keep it. So now I threw away money, and I have this top I can't wear. Perhaps the worst customer service I have ever come across, which says a lot. I'm a regular customer. Bought something almost four weeks ago online. Normally, within a couple of days I receive shipping status. After two weeks I had not received anything. There is no real customer service phone line so I went to the chat line. The rep, after putting me on hold for an eternity, told me it hadn't shipped. I already knew that. I asked why. She had no information. A few days later I again contacted a rep via chat. Still no information but endless time on hold. A few days later I made my third attempt to chat with someone who apologized profusely for my experience, gave me a "case number" and promised to update me via email. She never did. After three weeks I drove to the store where I normally shop and where I had requested the item be delivered. The sales person checked my order numbers (I had placed two orders in one day) and tells me the items are out of stock! I'm now really annoyed as no one had ever contacted me. A manager comes over, has me repeat the entire saga, promises to get to the bottom of it and asks for my email and cell. I gave him both He swore he would call. That was six days ago; naturally I have not heard from him. read more

I went to return something I purchased online. Guess what... you can't....! Absolutely ridiculous policy. Of course I could return for store credit.... Guess what... they don't have any stock. They give out an 800 number where they email you a link to a site that isn't working. When I get someone on the phone they took 10 minutes to find my order. What a mess! No stock, no customer service and no manager in the store to talk to. When I asked for the store or district managers name they refused. Avoid this store and this company. I like UNIQLO, but this store is bottom of the barrel. They refused to do free alterations for me, stating that they only do free alterations for jeans. The corporate policy states "Every single one of our stores offer an alteration service, which is free on all bottoms priced at $19.90 and above." Why does this store not honor the corporate policy? Tidy, very well organized Uniqlo shop with good quality men's and women's casual and sports clothing in natural fabrics, i.e. cotton and linen. Also many pieces made of polyester, which I am not a fan of since polyester does not breathe. The prices are reasonable in comparison to the Gap and LLBean in the Ridge Hill shopping center. read more

Clothing seems nice and appears to be okay-ish quality. Colours this season are pleasant and the clothing is not too overpriced. However, the employees are extremely aloof and unfriendly. Not one of them at the Yonkers location would I describe as nice, helpful or remotely pleasant (I interacted with 4). Actually, the girl on checkout was down right frosty and one of the guys in the fitting room was abrupt and extremely retentive. I'm convinced he thought I was going to steal something. I'm a professional, I never stole anything in my life and I certainly wouldn't steal from a budget clothing store. Overall, It really was not a good shopping experience. For me to see Uniqlo starting to sprall across the boroughs of NY and with even a branch in SF, I have very high hopes for CEO Tadashi Yanai's vision of Uniqlo taking over America. He plans on establishing 200 branches by 2020 in the US which is exciting news for me because I'm a big fan of Uniqlo! Uniqlo @ Ridge Hill opened early April and it has a good collection of what is offered at the biggest branch in 5th Avenue. Less variety in certain departments but still a good make up of what's offered in Manhattan. Part of what I love about Uniqlo is when they team up with artists and brands in designing uniquely printed clothings and accessories. Their current collaboration with the English brand Cabbages and Roses and Paris' macacroon company Laduree transforms normal T-shirts, jackets, scarves, and pants into elegant/cute affordable pieces for wear. Uniqlo's line pretty much features either printed/patterned clothes or multi-colored basics. I like to think Uniqlo as the cheaper version of GAP and a higher quality + simpler version of H&M. They've got blazers and shirts for work to bold and pastel colored jeans for your casual days on the street. Love their brilliant built in bra tanktops (cause who wants bra straps showing when you're wearing tanks??) and their heattech collection in the winter. If you're looking for non-bulky, insulating winter tops, Uniqlo is the way to go. Sales staff are attentive, one is stationed at the front thanking customers and asking incomers how are they. Cashiers try to make small talk. Very spacious and non-busy compared to the one in Manhattan. The only pet peeve I have with this brand is their sizes. They do not seem to have pants that come in medium. Either that or I'm just extremely unlucky. I've had to resort to buying XL in two instances. While XL still fits, there's less of a flattering cut/fit. No catering to the plus size market in stores, but there are more sizing options available online. read more

I love this store but I'm a huge Uniqlo fan. Every time I'm at Ridge Hill I have to stop here to check out what color stretchy jeans they have and whats on clearance. The store its pretty big and you have to go to both floors since they carry different things. They have a lot of people working here which is a plus no need to hunt someone if you need help. I went to this Uniqlo this week and was very impressed. I had the good fortune to go when the store was relatively quiet. Uniqlo essentially carries rainbow colored basics. You are not really going to get anything...unique at Uniqlo. However, they carry some great stuff. Right now, they are pushing linen button up shirts for $30. You can have one in nearly any shade, and there are enormous displays well stocked in colors in sizes. When I was in there, I saw both women and men of all ages picking them up. You know you've got a good basic when it's something a 60 year old man and a 15 year old girl can both wear and afford. Some things, like a well cut shirt or a pair of dark jeans, should be universal. I was also impressed with the staff. The girl that rung me up was friendly, and I had no less than 3 staffers bust their asses to try to find something in my size. I got a GREAT pair of jeans for $20, and I've owned many expensive pairs of jeans. Not bragging, it's more of a foolish admission. I am very impressed with the cut and quality of these jeans. The spare pockets and deep dye make them look just like J Brand. There were 3 things I did not like. 1.The sweaters looked cheap. 2.The jeggings I tried on in a "Medium" would not come past my thighs and I'm 150 @ 5' 6''. I'm not super slim, but I'm not a big girl. Makes me wonder what a big girl's supposed to do. Come on yo. 3. There were many t shirts w/ Lauduree graphics and macaroons on them. I like macaroons but to see a whole wall of these shirts was a little weird. I prefer my macaroons in boxes with my name on them ;) Stick to the basics Uniqlo, and you have my heart forever. read more

So I don't think I'm a fan of Uniqlo anymore. My mom found some great good quality baby clothes these for my nephew and I purchased a few winter clothing. But during this visit, the clothes that I tried didn't seem right. Sigh, cost cutting makes for bad clothes cutting. I think the coats are worthwhile there and the vests. Maybe that's what they do best in my opinion. The store is typical Uniqlo, organized and tidy. Well, that's all for now. read more

I really want to like Uniqlo, I reallllllly do, but the sizing is all based on Japanese sizing and I feel like a tub-o-lard when I leave; obviously with nothing in hand. As for this specific store, it is great. It is two levels and usually pretty empty which is always nice. The sales staff is pretty helpful and it is great that they will go get you a different size while you are in the dressing room. I will probably always stop in here when I am at Ridge Hill, just because... but I will probably only walk out with some underwear! read more

First time at UNIQLO. Cool store. Lots of interesting clothes at a decent price. It's like the H&M of Japan with more space. Parking is cheap at $3 for like 6 hours. Upscale stores around here w/ a surprising variety. However, the staff was a bit unenthusiastic and inexperienced. I asked one woman at the cash register to hold my stuff while I look upstairs for a particular jacket. When I came back down she out my stuff back.. Don't let that stop you from going here. Uniqulo has some solid gear. P.S. I do give them props for hiring deaf people. read more

Nothing against Uniqlo, as I do enjoy their product, but this location is by far the worst. Half the time I can't find any one who works here, and when you do, the staff is useless. You can find them in corners most of the time standing around texting or leaning on walls chatting with each other. The cashiers need a crash course in customer service. My wife and I spent $198 at the Ridge Hill, Yonkers location on September 7, 2015. She wore a black sweater (item #2000074387487 $29.90) from that order once- about 45 days later- then washed it per the instructions on the care tag. The sweater has two holes in it. The store manager would do nothing as it was beyond 30 days. This is a short-sighted person in my opinion and a poor quality item. read more

If I could give minus stars, I would give minus 5 stars!!! I just had a terrible experience with both the sales person AND the manager on duty. I bought two vests early this afternoon and when I got home, both vests still had the security tag on. So I had to drive back to get them removed. That salesperson wasn't there so I asked another person to take it off. He shrugged and said "At least it wasn't me." And took it off. Appalled by the poor professionalism, I asked if they could at least pay for my parking since it was their fault that I had to drive all the way back, pay for parking ($4) and go back to their store. When he refused, I asked to see the manager who came and all he said was "We don't validate parking ma'am. IAnd all we can say is I'm sorry." There was not an ounce of sincerity in his voice and after a few other exchanges (that I will not write here) I left the store making sure they understood that I will NEVER shop there again. It is terribly disappointing because I had always had great experiences with Uniqlo customer service, and I had always wondered if it was because the company was based in Japan. This kind of customer is a bad reflection on the brand and that's why I was terribly disappointed since love their products. Just from this experience, I will not look at Uniqlo the same!! read more

All right, so I never write reviews on Yelp, but I had an awful experience at the new Uniqlo in Ridge Hill and had to put a review on here. The store itself is really nice inside and there is a lot of selection as there are two floors. I went in there with my girlfriend as we had time to kill before seeing a movie. It was a Sunday, our movie was at 7:10, and they closed at 7, so we figured we'd go in around 6:30 which we did. We saw some things that we wanted to try on and got on line to try on at 6:40. There were three people ahead of us and it took us 15 minutes before we could try anything on. It didn't make sense though because there were 7 fitting rooms. It turns out that the manager instructed the girl in the fitting room to close 4 of the fitting rooms and only leave 3 open with a line going into the fitting rooms. Does that make any sense to anybody else? Wouldn't you want to get the people in, so they could get out as quickly as possible? Needless to say, by the time I tried something on, I needed a different size and didn't have time to try it on. My girlfriend didn't have enough time to try everything on either. Left frustrated as hell and we walked out. Nice store, but ridiculous choices by management led to an absolute awful experience and us literally running to get to our movie. read more
