If you want to feel like you are shopping at Forever 21, or any other very low end brand, where customers are treated like they don't really matter, than shop at Gucci in the Westchester. I spend thousands of dollars a year at Gucci. I have never returned anything in my life there. I bought five items last month and attempted to return one item today. I was treated terribly. They love you when you are spending money. The one time I tried to return something I was treated like a loser. Never going back in there again. Low class service. Management has no idea how to treat high end shoppers. So not worth high end spending. At all. If you take an item to the Gucci store in the Westchester Mall in White Plains NY, please make sure you pick up your package. After several emails, phone calls and being ignored, I decided to go back to the Gucci store. I requested to have my packaged mailed to my home after it was repaired and an employee shipped my package to someone else's home. SO, GUCCI HAS EMPLOYEES STEALING THEIR CUSTOMER'S PACAKGES IN THE BOTTOM LINE! When I discovered what happened I called the manager, who sent me to voicemail. She then thought it was a good idea to text me. The level of customer service, empathy and concern at this store is horrible. read more

I'm not really the type of person who gets caught up in labels. That being said, I like to make my clothes last, so I don't mind paying a higher price if it's quality. When it comes to Gucci, I of course was aware of the brand but never really had an interest in investing in any of their apparel or accessories. However, one of my colleagues was rocking a pair of their Ace sneakers a while back and from the moment I laid eyes on them I wanted a pair for myself. This of course meant a trip to Gucci - so off I went! I didn't feel like going into Manhattan so I opted for this Gucci location inside The Westchester in White Plains. When I visited the store was still in the old location on the first floor but they have since moved to a larger space on the second floor which is much nicer. Anyway, I knew what I wanted so I after entering I went directly to the shoes. They weren't too busy but all the associates were taking care of other customers so I had to wait maybe 10 to 15 minutes before being helped. I didn't have anywhere to go so it didn't bother me too much but also I wasn't acknowledged until well after I entered so there's definitely an opportunity for improvement. When I was finally helped things started to move faster; the associate was friendly and helped me pick out the right size. Hot tip: Gucci shoes run large - so I ended up getting a full size lower than my normal size. After waiting for my credit card to stop melting from swiping a charge that high I was on my way out. Were the sneakers expensive? Hell yes, but I love them. They were comfortable right out of the box, go with almost everything I pair them with, and appeal to my desire to be extra with what I wear. Overall, I had a slightly bumpy ride at Gucci, but at the end of the day it was a positive experience and I left happy. read more

I had a very quick and easy experience. But I do have some... eh, observations. I wish they displayed more bags. All the bags I wanted to look at and/or buy- were not on display. In fact, the bag I ended up buying was tucked in a drawer. I had to pull up the picture from the website and show the sales girl. This was also odd: when you pay, you go in a tiny room in the back that's definitely meant for the employees only. It looked like a closet. I was like what is going on?! So while I am paying in this closet -- another employee runs in and nearly knocks me over!! Never apologized. She was just eager to swipe her customer's credit card. Smh. Treat people better - and don't have a weird closet check out scenario. It's creepy. read more

What an amazing experience at this location! I was greeted immediately once I entered by NICOLE O. who was amazing from start to finish! She took our temperatures as soon as we walked in and asked us to look around and see anything that we liked. I informed her that I knew exactly what I wanted already so I showed her the picture and she immediately went to the back and bought the bag out for me. She opened it up and told me all about the bag (she was super educated on the specifics!). Meanwhile my boyfriend seen another design and asked to see that one too, which she was more than happy to do so. She encouraged me to try both on and look in the mirror (which I appreciated her taking the time to spend with me instead of the usual service of sales professionals just wanting you in and out).
