Based on my experience with dealing with painters, cancelling, not showing up without a call or showing up 2 hours late for an estimate. We just had 2 painting groups for the same job, because the first group. Painted our ceilings bright yellow. And the walls a very dark, deep grayish blue. I had the containers marked with the color sample cards with directions as to what paint goes where! The problem was they did not read or write English and were using phones for their needs for translation! Anthony and his team are one of the few contractors I've hired over the years that has been incredibly responsive, accomodating, and always on time. He communicated well, and he or his team were always on site within 15 minutes of stated arrival. When he couldn't fit the large job in his schedule in the next 2-3 weeks, he volunteered to come out and paint our nursery that weekend on his own time so that we could get that room situated before the arrival of our baby. The crews were clean, great with our animals, and were easy to work with (and around). All for a very reasonable price. Seriosly, stop looking at more reviews and just call.

He came back to us that same day with a fair quote and was very responsive and friendly with the several follow-up questions we asked in the next days. His brother Dominic and other employee, Blake, were the ones that actually did the work in our home over the course of 9 days. They started by removing some wall paper and then spent numerous hours filling countless holes and cracks in our walls and ceilings. They tried to seal off the areas they were working in in order to minimize the dust as much as possible. They were very diligent at filling all the cracks and holes and smoothing them out so that they were no longer visible. They did several ceilings, a few bedrooms, trim, a living room, kitchen, and hallways, including two staircases. We actually added to the scope of work a couple of times and they were very accommodating. As we were working from home the entire time they were doing the job, we saw first hand how hard they worked throughout the day. They even came back for an extra couple of hours one day to make sure a blemish was fixed. They really went the extra mile, giving it their all and the results showed. We are very happy with how everything turned out! On top of a great outcome, it was a pleasure having them in our home. They were very respectful and friendly, and did a better job of cleaning up at the end of each day than any other contractors we have had in our home. He huffed and puffed about cc'ing a second email so god knows what he would be like on the job if he had to do something mildly inconvenient. All of the contractors I've dealt with with the exception of Beauty Walls - have enjoyed back and forth communication, and being very communicative and clear. Sviat literally told us "I'm not in the communications department" on one of his bad days where he was 'inconvenienced' by having to respond to our emails and requests. He rage deleted our project from his system, and when we asked him about it he said that he let his emotions get the best of him and shouldn't have done it in the moment (see more later). Dealing with him and his business delayed our move in date by a month. A prime example of communications with him will be ie - send email Monday, no reply, we follow up Wednesday, then he replies, then we respond within minutes to hours, and have to follow up again Friday for an update. We were going to try to make it work with him - since he did our floors for another property many years ago and went without hiccup. He emailed us (this is copy and pasted: " I made a mistake deleting that estimate, I started again and I'm not able to overcome my emotions. Sorry I can't do your floors. There are good companies on Yelp.com or Angi.com with trustful reviews. We can do painting for you after the floors are done" I would recommend this business if you are ok dealing with this unprofessionalism and childlike behavior As soon as we moved onto quotes from 2 other businesses, WOW night and day. Very communicative, no babysitting and having to follow up for responses, and even more - wow no complaining about having to communicate?! Bonkers. Such a horrible experience, when I really wanted to initially support an independent family business.

The quality of the work was 5 stars. no ifs ands or buts. hole fixed, ceiling painted no fuss no muss no mess. It looks great. The office paperwork side was less so. it was a 2 maybe a 3. It was hard to get an estimate, e-mails sent were apparently missed, the office staff was disorganized- and I'm being polite. it was disorganized to the point I felt like they didn't want my business. and setting a date for the work was only marginally less stressful than Noah booking seats on the ark. When the workmen showed up, they had no work order, I got no receipt or anything at all, and they barely spoke English leading to a few misunderstandings. So the work was absolutely first rate but my God, it was a challenge getting it going.

We had extensive drywall issues in our new build, and the builder reached out to US Drywall to fix…read morethe issues. Lots of wavy ceilings and walls and mud buildup over Sheetrock seams. John first came out and had no problem seeing the issues and told us that they could fix everything. He promised that he would work one room at a time until it was completely done, then move on to the next room so that our family wouldn't be impacted too much. He also promised that he would fix our kitchen ceiling with some sort of self-leveling compound. Fast forward a week. John first gets the dates mixed up in when we agreed they would start. No big deal, but this is the start of his miscommunication and disorganization. The guys that came out to do the actual work were extremely nice and respectful, so I'll add one star. Everything else about the job was a mess. John came out a couple days in, and became aggressive when we told him the work did not look good. He didn't remember saying that the kitchen would need this magical leveling compound, but promised he would now order it. He argued that he could not see imperfections, and basically told us that we could only paint walls and ceilings with white flat paint in order to hide the problems. When they came back to fix what they worked on, John said he would go and "pick up" that magical self leveling compound for the ceiling. It never came. The next day we had several guys working in several different rooms all at once. So much for finishing one room at a time. Each day the crew would come 30 minutes to an hour later than they were supposed to, then take a lunch a couple hours later, work another hour, then pack up for the day and leave. John came out again and we told him we were unhappy with the work (see photos). He said that we were just being picky, and that all drywall looks bad if you really look close enough. He said another way that we can keep from seeing the #### drywall is to keep all the lights turned off at night! What??! When we told him that the work didn't look right, he came back with dozens of excuses. In a huff, he said he couldn't make us happy and packed up and left us with terrible drywall. We found out that he was fired from our neighbor's house for this same behavior, where he also promised to use magic level 5 finish self leveling compound. To this day, I don't know if that even exists.
