I was told there's a "diagnostic fee" if there of $209.00 if they don't find anything wrong. Well, they found that I needed spark plugs For $450.00! Yikes, that seems like a lot of money, so I thought that since they were doing work on the car, I wouldn't have to pay the $209.00. When I went to pick up the car the charge was on there for diagnostics. When I complained about it, I was told that they have to pay the technician to do the diagnostics. Isn't that part of doing business? I could see paying that if I decided not to have the work done, but they were doing the work and charging me for that time as well. I've been doing business with Gary Rome Hyundai since 2010 and when they were on Main St., they bent over backwards to make sure you got excellent service. Now, they only seem to care about making more money. I'm sorry to say that we will be taking our business elsewhere in the future. Shame on you Gary Rome.

The way this plan was explained to me during the sale was misleading and not what I expected. Bill told me the warranty would cover routine maintenance like oil changes, wiper replacements, brake pads, and one rotor resurfacing. He said to tell him how many oil changes I would need per year based on mileage, and that would determine my coverage. He also said I could visit any dealership for those services under the plan. After my third service visit, I finally asked for details on what the warranty actually covers. I was surprised. The service advisor laughed when I asked about rotor resurfacing, saying that rotors are almost always replaced, not resurfaced. They showed me that the plan only covers oil changes and cabin air filters, and my coverage ends at 61,000 miles, which is what I purchased. According to the Ford preventative maintenance schedule I was shown, none of the other services I was told about would be needed during the coverage period. I paid $1,600 for a plan that only covers a few basic services and is not worth the cost. Future customers should make sure they fully understand what they are purchasing before agreeing to this type of warranty.

We had our mechanic check it out. Alex was difficult to deal with while fixing things. He refused to replace a cooling line for the transmission he permitted a repair only. Well, the line blew. Causing damage to the radiator and transmission. Costing us $4,000.00 before the second car loan payment was even made. In a 9 week period of purchasing the vehicle. 7 weeks it was in repair and undrivable. Alex...no where to be seen. He offered to refund $ towards the tow and the radiator repair, but again "ghosted" He replaced the ac compressor, but would not pay for the Freon charge. That was during the warranty period. He gave us 1 fob and 1 key. The fob buttons were so worn out they didn't work. I purchased 2 new fobs and 2 key. Even something that simple he wouldn't do. Alex fits the typical sleazy car salesman. He has no integrity or moral compass. Odd for a man who claims to attend church almost daily. Do not buy any thing from him or anyone that works for this company
