I recently had the opportunity to have 2 vehicles serviced by Unique Car Care in Middleton MA. TLDR: The team at Unique does an amazing job, they are not interested in flipping details, they are methodical, passionate and incredibly professional. There is a reason this shop is so highly related. I highly recommend. Vehicles under review: The first vehicle I brought in was my wife's new (2023) E450 Wagon. Her vehicle is a Nautical blue exterior (which is quite dark) and we opted for XPel Standard Plus PPF and their Ceramic Coating - Exterior Detail with Five Year Coating. The second vehicle was my 2019 Porsche 911 (991.2 GTS) Black which also received Ceramic Coating - Exterior Detail with Five Year Coating. (As my vehicle already had PPF from the prior owner no additional PPF was needed.) *Unique's ceramic service covers rims and calipers. Rick, Pete and Tom did an absolutely amazing job on our vehicles. (My 911 GTS had some etching on my center lock rims and Tom made them look absolutely amazing!) The output was incredible and they were extremely patient and willing to talk you through each phase of their process. There are shops out there that simply want to make money based on high volume and and turning out as many jobs as possible - this is not the approach that Unique takes. This is a business that takes pride in what they do, they are playing the long game and looking to build long lasting relationships versus a quick buck. If you have a vehicle and plan to keep it for awhile, this is your shop. Not only are their prices very competitive, their service is top notch and they are genuinely nice people. First time here - got good referral from car enthusiast forums. I worked with Pete over email, and got a good deal based on the package I was getting and paying in cash. They did a full wrap of my hood, side mirrors, front, rocker panels, and "mudguards" (aka the area on your rear fenders right behind the wheel where dirt gets kicked up). On arrival, Pete walked me through what they were going to do, and showed examples of cars they were working on, their process, and cars that were done. Very easy-going fellow, and one I'd work with again in the future when I get my tint done. Phenomenal care and attention to detail - one of the things they do that many clear bra wrapping places don't is wrapping /around/ the edge of the hood and sealing there. That's the kind of attention to detail you're paying a slight price premium for. They even did a once-over detail of the exterior and even polished my rims, to boot, all as part of the package, prior to the clear bra wrap. read more

Just purchased a 2017 BMW X5 from Tulley and had them deliver directly to Rick at UCC. He did a partial wrap on the hood and also a Ceramic Pro 9H coating everywhere. The car looks fantastic. The crew there is ultra professional and their facility is spotless with many exotic and luxury cars. I would recommend highly. The detail and the process was impressive. Rick and the team at Unique Car Care are amazing. Right off the bat, you can sense the pride that they take in the business and their work. I knew that I wanted a clear bra, but wasn't sure which package to choose. Rick took the time to explain each package and the coverage provided, helping me to make the best choice for my car. He was very honest in pointing out an adequate level of protection that balanced my desire to protect my car with my budget. The team at Unique is different from most shops in their application. Rather than using pre-cut kits they do custom installs. The benefit being that most panels are covered with a single sheet of film, reducing the exposed areas and providing a much cleaner look. They took the time to remove the emblems fro my car so that seams would be less visible. The old adage is certainly true that you get what you pay for. The cost may be a bit higher than competing shops, but having seen their work first hand I can say it is worth every penny. When I picked up my car the application was flawless- I only got a partial fender, but you really have to work to see the edge. I won't spend time extolling the virtues of the Xpel Ultimate film that UCC uses, you can do a Google search and get plenty of reviews, but I will say that I would recommend Rick and the UCC team without hesitation. Beautiful job - the car was brought in for a headlight polish as well as a detail. The car wasn't this clean when I got her from the dealer! Last night, the light rain allowed the work to really stand out - pearls of water pooling and running off the various metal surfaces. Rubber that had aged significantly in the 17 years I've owned the car are now black again. The headlight restoration was also fantastic. The lenses are clear and the film should protect them from further fogging for a while. read more

His knowledge and insight are outstanding. He seems to have an incredible amount of experience too. UCC has an excellent focus on customer service. Rick provided me with a very detailed job on my new car: detail, paint correction (that the dealer messed up), and a custom clear bra. When he found the paint problems created by the dealer, and two dents even, he photographed them for me so that I could try to get reimbursed for the work to repair them. I've been going to UCC for many years now. These guys do amazing top notch work. You wont find better auto services anywhere in the northeast. Rick, the owner, is a great guy to do business with and very professional and knowledgeable. They mostly do very high end cars so their attention to detail is unmatched, and they apply that to every car they do regardless of the type of car. They just moved to a great new shop in Andover. Spacious and immaculate shop with a very nice customer lounge, and its only a 4 minute walk to the commuter rail station which is very convenient. They can be a little tough to get a hold of because they are in such high demand, but the wait is definitely worth it. If you love your car, don't trust it with anyone else. read more

Just from my one experience with the UCC team, I instantly could tell UCC is unmatched in service as well as attention to detail to their work. I've had a lot of work done in various places prior, and I have to say it's a completely "unique" experience. You can tell they are genuinely driven to make sure you get exactly what your looking for (and more) and not trying to up-sell you on products to make a buck. And the quality of work they do (based also on the other work I saw being done in their garage) is top notch. They did a basic cleaning (not their detailing service) after the tint job was done, and I have to say I haven't seen my car look so good in a very long time. Honda gave me an exceptional trade in value because of the professional wrap & ceramic coating done at Unique. I just took my 2018 CRV to Unique and got the Expel Clear Bra front end wrap which includes the complete front bumper, complete hood, complete fenders, headlights and mirrors. I also got the Ceramic Coating which is the wash, claybar treatment to remove contamination, complete exterior buff, and ceramic coating applied to all exterior surfaces including wheels. Fantastic result from an HONEST guy. I bought a new Mercedes AMG and in a dark color. Having researched Opti-Coat as a protective film coating for the paint i looked to see who installed in the Boston area. I talked to all the companies and many had pricing 'Voodoo'. I found Rick to be a remarkably honest and straightforward chap with great service and a fabulous result. I ended up putting a clear bra on the front of the car and opticoat over the entire vehicle. Rick's workmanship was top notch and I could not tell the film was installed. The Opticoat REALLY works as we had a couple of cars 'keyed' on our street including mine. The other cars were down through the paint film but in my case it hadn't penetrated the clear coat! I can't say this was all due to the opticoat but some of it sure was! When there to pick up I asked him what I could do to protect the door edges (as my kids tend to whack them into our fence). Rick said no problem and applied narrow strips of film to the door edges for me while I waited - NO charge! I rarely provide reviews of companies but in this case I feel compelled too - GREAT work. read more

Just got back my 2017 Ford Explorer Sport (black), car literally looks flawless!!! Couldn't be more happier and satisfied. I consider myself an anal person, when I talked to Rick I knew I was in good hands. Then when I walked in the shop an seen their quality of work and the cars they were working on (all high end cars) I knew this was the place to go and had nothing to worry about. First time user, but not my last. These guys are great. I dropped my M235xi off for a pre-winter exterior detail and it came back looking phenomenal. The car looks like a large black mirror. Not a hint of swirls anywhere in the paint, the surface is as slick as wet ice, and the shine is wonderful. The wheels are spotless, and they even cleaned the brake calipers. The car looks better than the day it came from the dealer. To be honest, it probably looks better than the moment it rolled off the production line. These guys are top of the line.
