Easy to find heading east from the interstate on Plaza Drive / Hwy 150, less than a mile after the bend and set back a little from the street. Big fountain up front (which may or may not be gurgling) and plenty of parking in a lot shared with the funeral home around back. The facility itself is clean, simple, and medium fancy; suitable for quiet dignified affairs but easily dressed up for elegance or extravagance and there's a patio around the fountain if the weather is agreeable, also has a large canopied entrance fronting a foyer if the weather turns foul. The kitchen is equipped with coolers, heaters, ice machine and dish washer to handle your food service needs. Last time in was for an anniversary party seating 100+ people plus a two-line buffet with space enough for dancing and cavorting into the evening. I can't say as how I cared much for the music selection but that's more on the hostess than the facility.

We found The Heritage House via google. Our first contact was with a very pleasant woman named Andrea. She answered every question I had without rushing me and then offered a tour of the event space. The Venue was very easy to locate and looked nice from the outside with a big fountain out front Perfect for pictures. When we first walked in the building it smelt and looked very clean(which was very important to me). Andrea was as pleasant in person as on the phone and everything she said about the space was accurate from the big screen TVs and kitchen to a sound system and other modern amenities. Simply put this Venue was everything we were looking for to make our special day amazing, Thank you Andrea and Heritage House LaDonnia and Jeffrey

I noticed they also have a stage for live performances, which is a nice touch--I'd love to come back when there's a show. I ordered a Tequila Sunrise, Long Island Iced Tea, and my usual go-to, Liquid Marijuana--all were really good. Each of those drinks was around $14, although I'm not sure if the price ever changes depending on the night or bartender. My partner had what I believe was called Smoke on the Water #3, which tasted great and was somewhere between $8-$11. However, his drink didn't come with the smoky presentation (he had ordered it twice) we later saw a couple get closer to closing time--maybe it was just too busy earlier for them to do that little extra. One thing I really appreciated: no strict dress code. I was wearing a tank top t-shirt and still felt welcome, unlike the bar next door (possibly a dive bar) that turned me away. It's refreshing to find a place with great vibes, strong drinks, and an inclusive atmosphere. They also serve food, though I didn't get to try any this time. I forgot to snap a picture of the menu--sorry! But I'll definitely be back again. This place has good energy, solid drinks, and a chill environment worth returning to.

Limited parking, however there is music, food, and space to relax. We enjoyed the temperature of the water and had some fun with volleyball! The corn on the cob was scrumptious, along with a vegan burger. My friends enjoyed a pizza & a charred burger! There is a high jump/swinging bar (have to be able to complete one pull up) and a high jump dock. To be able to swim without a life vest, one has to complete a swimming test. Pets are not permitted, however, there is a quarry dog. We had a blast! Thank you!

I would recommend the 3:45pm to sunset option if you are going in the summer time. The whole grassy area and patio is in the shade which was so nice. The life guards are friendly and we were able to try all the jumps around the area. 30$ per person, including the 5$ reservation fee. It's cash only once you're there, so plan ahead. When we arrived, we also got a 5$ coupon for the restaurant so technically it's like 25$ a person if you end up buying food. The food was reasonably priced and was good quality. They have beer on tap too that was 6$ for about a 12oz. Lots of areas to jump off and space to swim around without it being too crowded. You'll have to do a swim test which is really easy. You jump in, swim to the platform, tread water for 1min, and then swim to the exit ladder.

I gave the receptionist a call and explained when I am planning to be there as well as my pet concerns. At the beginning of the call the male receptionist was extremely friendly until he got on the phone his manager or what he calls "boss". My quesrions were regarding the weight limit and pet limit for dogs. I will be traveling with my friend's two dogs, this is important due to the fact I explained that they were big dogs. The "boss" then says over the receptionist's phone call that there is a 1 pet limit. Then when I asked if there was a weight limit the answer then changed from 1 pet to 2, then said there was a 60 lbs. weight limit for both dogs combined, as well as it will be $150 per dog for my 4-night stay. Then the receptionist hung the phone up on me without even telling me the "boss's" response. I only know this information due to the fact the receptionist had his phone on speaker. This is extremely unprofessional and completely disrespectful. I am NOT happy.
