She walked me through the process for getting the shed and even took the time to go over some additional options which I added on. I needed to get building permits pulled and the site prepared with a compacted gravel pad. During the time it took me, Yoselin followed up every other week to check on my progress. Once I had my site prepared, I called Yoselin back and she set me up with an installation date three weeks out. The building crew came and installed the shed in a single day. They were courteous, clean, and did an excellent job. I am exceptionally happy with the entire process. After reading a lot of reviews, I think a lot of people's problems come from a lack of preparation. Tuff Shed's materials clearly state what is needed for the site preparation. I found contacting Tuff Shed and there communication and customer service well above average. I was really impressed with them top to bottom.

The call center handles the initial sale and tells you whatever you want to hear to sell the product. Then you get a rep who explains the reality of the permitting process, additional construction required not offered by Tuff Shed, and the sheer bureaucratic difficulty this company has trouble navigating. The call center tells you 2 to 3 weeks on the first call. A month later the rep told me 45 days. It is a shame, because it looks to be a high-quality product. Suggestion to senior leadership: Let the rep work the case from start to finish instead of outsourcing every task to another teammate who has no clue what they are doing or where you stand in the process. They make promises they can't keep and are ill-equipped to handle the permitting process with your average municipality, but they'll happily take your $600-$700 permit fee and ask you do mark an "x" on the plat of survey of your property where you want the shed after promising you full-service and guidance during the sale. When we arrived, no one present in the main office. Eventually, I drove to the rear where I was informed that I needed to talk to the person on the fork lift. After all the confusion, we loaded our pod. The forklift told us that the pod would be transported that night which was contradictory to the person over the phone. The rep over the telephone told us we could keep loading until we scheduled the transfer. It ended up not being an issue as we got everything there in one visit with a Budget 16ft truck. Also they close the loading zone at a certain time and we weren't given that time until earlier that day. Luckily, I booked our rental truck and task rabbit helpers before that time but we only had 30 min to spare. All in all, Pod experience was good. Service and communication better at drop off in AZ.

I drive over most weekends to just pick up a bag or two of gardening soil or some pavers or bags of grass seed...but, I somehow end up spending $150 on fan gardening materials, seedlings, soil, seeds, and so much paint! I've painted my whole house, including the basement and outdoor area, too! When I'm having a tough day, a visit to the Menards on North Avenue is so comforting. Especially if it's one of their "11% back mail in rebate" days or if I have rebate cash to spend!! Love the staff here, too.
