I wanted golden blonde and ended up with brown hair I had to fix the color myself and the owner is now avoiding my text calls and won't even offer at least a partial refund since I paid 120 I am now being avoided I am sure I will be blocked because they will block you if you complain but luckily I have many people Facebook accounts so I've been waiting since Tuesday and the owner said she would look at the cameras to see my hair color. The owner kept harassing me through text because I posted negative reviews I had to call the police. I have a heart condition and she upset me until my blood pressure went sky high. I complained to my roommate about how much i normally pay to get my hair done and she recommended me to go to Ashley. My roommates hair turned out amazing so i went!!! However, roommate also have blonder hair. I have dark black hair and ashley messed me up big time. I tried to let her fix it and she made it worst. My hair was orange and I got my original lady to fix it but it took two sessions to fix what she did. If you have light hair go to ashley!! If you have dark hair avoid!!! read more

I have gone here for years and love this salon! The owner, Stacey, is a lovely person who sells all kinds of beautiful clothing and jewelry (many of which I have bought over the years). I started with Ashley, have also seen Felicia who was also wonderful. Their new location is even more beautiful than the original one in Fairlawn. I look forward to returning there since they do an excellent job on my hair! In fact, I am exceptionally excited since I have an appointment for there next week. I am so looking forward to it since I have had multiple physical problems lately and have an extraordinarily difficult time doing my own hair. I'm giving this salon one star because of the service regarding my latest (and last) visit. I'm disgusted with the way I was treated by one of the stylists after being a customer of hers for years. She turned my hair brunette when I asked for a golden shade of blonde on my already blonde hair. She did not do the job; instead, she told me it was exactly what I asked for and that I was being extremely difficult. In the most disrespectful tone, she said I could either come back in for more highlights or just let the brown fade out. It was her point to make me sound like I was unbelievable when maybe she just couldn't do the job. A great waste of money. I am so disappointed because I enjoyed having her as my stylist until then. She flipped a switch and did not apologize. I will never be back. read more

Fabulous salon! It was a wonderful treat to walk into such a professional environment. The facility is beautiful. Most amazing shampoo chairs I have ever seen. But, wait, there's more! The stylist, Jessica Adams, was wonderful! She gave me the best cut I've had in ages. Jessica listened to what I wanted before she started with her cut. She's a very talented young lady! I was really nervous to get my hair cut because I had been thinking about getting bangs for about a month. I finally bit the bullet and scheduled an appointment. Crystal did an amazing job and almost seemed to read my mind. I have had trouble styling them myself and I gave her a call and she gave me great advice and told me to stop by if I couldn't figure it out. Okay I see rave reviews for Unique Salon, and I suppose if you go to get your hair done you can get an appt. And get a acceptable do. Or if you want to get eyebrows done, decent work. But try to get in to get a pedicure or manicure FORGET IT! What this salon lacks is business smarts in my opinion. Evidently they have ONE 1, Just one person who provides this service and it's hard to just get an appointment. Now I am not sure how people feel about this set up, but I think that it's UNCOOL! if they are going to have a ' "FULL SERVICE SALON" they should make it convenient for customers not for them. read more

I came here when my other hair dresser feel ill and was afraid I would hate it because I'm very picky about my hair. I had my appointment with Alyssa and she did a wonderful job with the trim and didn't cut too much off or too little. She also did a great job with my eyebrows. I went back the next month and showed her something I wanted to do that was a little shorter. We discussed it in full detail so she would know exactly what I wanted and I LOVED the outcome. I came back the next month and told her I wanted to do something a little different with the style and she made it happen. I've now been more than satisfied for the past 5 months. Please do NOT waste your time or money at this salon. I had my hair dyed (with intentions of ombre) and the finished product looked like highlights and the bottom was actually darker than the top of my newly dyed hair. COMPLETELY WRONG. When I called back to say I wasn't happy, they told me it would be full price to have it fixed the way I wanted. I told them I was an unhappy costumer, yet they didn't care about that at all. SECONDLY, it took almost an entire month for the transaction to come out of my account and completely messed up my bank account. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. Had an appointment for a cut and color today. Receptionist calls and confirmed TWICE yesterday. Arrive this morning, the receptionist says that they do not have my appointment for a color, in addition to a cut, and tell me they can't do my appointment.....I was having professional pictures done today and had to scramble for an appointment for another salon, which I couldn't do!!!!
