I am a long time customer who recently had back surgery. I have told the nail tech, each time, and made it clear I cannot reach my feet. just want my toenails trimmed and polished every 10 days. I have learned that if you're not getting a full pedicure, you get treated like dirt. No drink is offered, no smiles or conversation and my nails look like crap, uneven and poorly painted (like last time) or I am ignored, left to sit with toe-dividers that I had a hell of a time trying to remove myself (like today). I always tip well, 25% or more. Why would I want to go back when I want gel nails or a pedicure after being treated like this for a half-dozen times? read more

I LOVE this salon! My daughter actually found them and told me about them. I've been a customer for a little over 6 months, and I've never had a bad manicure. I do the dipping powder, and they last for up to 4 weeks. Even then, my nails need to be done more due to growth rather than chipping polish. They are also very good at hand- painting designs. If you have an idea or picture, they can generally duplicate it. If you want to get your nails done on the weekend, I highly recommend making an appointment. They are VERY popular! read more

I am giving 1 star because you can't give zero and review. I went in for a finger nail dip and pedicure. When I walked in I was not greeted. I thought that was unusual but they were busy, so I just signed in on the kiosk I waited for someone to ask if they could help me (generally Tommy or his wife as they are first positions by the door) but not until another two ladies came in did Tommy get up. He rushed right past me to take care of them. Tommy has NEVER been friendly,but this was the worst. If it hadn't been for those considerate ladies telling him I was first, he would have made me wait until they were started. Those two ladies whispered a few minutes and walked out, and they were seated in the pedicure chairs before me and asked who was first with me sitting there. I will never be back because Tommy has always treated me disrespectfully, but this was absolutely the worst. I get pretty good service from the nail techs I've never had a bad pedicure, but an owner should be more appreciative of his clients. Shame on you Tommy!! Honestly wish I could rate this place 0 stars. Horrible customer service, horrible wait times, extremely dirty environment and sooo much more. I have never been out in under 3 hours and have never once even gotten close to what I wanted when I've come. My mother frequently went (past tense) but was treated so disgustingly this last time by the owner and his wife (Tommy and Wynn) and charged her $140 and is refusing a refund after completely destroying my mother's nails before Christmas. Absolutely disgusting people. They sat in the middle of the salon and YELLED at us asking "Do you want your nails done or not?" After denying that we even made an appointment in the first place. My mother was almost in tears over how disgustingly they treated her. Not to mention they make people vote for their salon for best of the west by offering discounts if you vote for them. Complete scammers. I highly recommend Sparkle Nails if you're looking for a good nail salon, a MUCH nicer, cleaner environment and they've got more colors and design options. read more

I liked this place. It's a bit of a drive from where I live but I liked the atmosphere plus they serve drinks, which is nice for occasions or just for a Thursday . I have been a total of 10 times and i always left feeling great, although prior to my recent visit I was unhappy with how uneven my thumbs were in comparison to my other fingers but it was only noticeable to my eyes, so I let it go. But my problem was with my recent visit, I opted to get the acrylic white tip since I had gotten bored with shellac on fake nails. All in all it looks good.... from a distance but up close you can see bubbling, what looks to me as possible debris from the sanding and on my thumbs, you can visibly see my real nail and it looks like the fake tip was pulled up from my nail to reveal the under nail. When I asked why it looked this way, like 3 of the nail techs decided to examine my nails and then I got some excuse that the tip doesn't fully follow the curve of the nail which is why it looks like that. Ummm no, I always got the white tip before I started doing shellac and it NEVER looked like this. I already had enough and was becoming impatient as I'm diabetic and I felt clammy so I just wanted to leave before I became anymore frustrated. Before I left, it was recommended that I do dip and then it would have looked better. Umm no. I'm not going to spend 15 dollars more on a style I don't like. I don't like the dip. I spent close too 100 dollars, that included two pedis, one for myself and my grandmother and 30 for the nails. The tech didn't even give my grandmother her manicure which she said she didn't want after how my nails looked. I won't be back due to the excuses and just the overall let down I received this time around. read more

Honestly really disappointed. This use to be my spot. I left today after getting my nails done by someone other than who the appointment was for. I asked for dip, she did acrylic? And I was charged 55 for some crappy nails When I messaged the Facebook account explaining my frustration they just explained why I was charged 15 dollars (because I guess ombré is 55 and everything else is 40?) And no apology for telling me I was going to be seeing a certain person and then 30 mins after my appointment time pushing me off on someone else. Ridiculous. I will start off my review by saying that this used to be my FAVORITE place to get a pedicure. This is the only place I would go to get a pedicure for years. With that being said, I will not return after my last two visits to get my nails done. The first time I came in to get my nails done, I just wanted a manicure with a clear coat. I was told by Tommy that there was a long wait. I was okay with that so I took a seat to wait my turn. About 20 minutes into my wait, he came up to me and told me that they would not be able to serve me because they were too busy. Today, I came in to get my acrylics soaked off and then just regular nail polish on. I was told again by Tommy that there would be an hour wait. Again, I was okay with that and took a seat to wait my turn. Two other customers came in after me and got seated to get their nails done immediately upon walking in. The only reason I ever got seated was because another employee saw me sitting and waiting so she sat me. I understand that what I am wanting is pretty basic compared to other customers that come in but I am very unsatisfied with the customer service presented to me by Tommy. A fill should not cost $60 when my daughters full set cost $70 which is still way to much. The person who did my nails did a great job at shaping them but not so good on the polish. This place was highly recommended so I came in to try it out last year I have been satisfied with their work every single time. their acrylic nails have never failed me and actually have gotten so many compliments on how long they last I never have a problem with them lifting or breaking which is very important to someone who gets their nails done often! I just want people to know who go and get their nails done here to ask the prices before you have your nails done. I got a regular gel manicure and they charged me $60. They told me afterwards that since I picked a chrome polish it was $20 extra. I definitely would not have spent an additional $20. This isn't the first time this has happened But I went in there today just for a fill they told me a 30 minute wait which not only turned into an hour but they skipped over me and these 2 ladies and started on someone who had just gotten there. We all needed similar things done. As I was still sitting there waiting trying to give them the benefit of the doubt I was asked to get up and move so they could start on another woman. Let me start by saying I have been a loyal customer at Unique nails for several years now, but the last few times I have been in for what is supposed to be a relaxing experience, has been stressful, unorganized, hostile, expensive, and chaotic. I usually go to Tommy (one of the owners) but I SCHEDULED my appt today with his wife (Uyen) to get a Christmas design on my nails since she does all the designs for the most part. I arrive to the salon at 2:55pm with my mother who also had an appt at 3, and my daughter. I was sat in the back to start my pedicure for 2+ hours while Uyen worked on 2 other people's nails first. Tommy came and quickly attempted to do my nails while I was sitting in the pedicure chair and I was told Uyen would add the design right after. I had at this point been here almost 3 hours so I asked Tommy if I could just get the nails I was waiting for a design on the same color so they would at least all match for an upcoming Christmas event. Uyen then proceeds to say to me (in front of all the customers there, while still working on the customer she had been working on since I arrived) "do you want your nails done? We'll go somewhere else, I don't have time". I was charged full price, and had to go to a different salon to have my unfinished nails made presentable. Needless to say, I am appalled at the way I was treated, and will never be back here...nor will any of my family or friends. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I have tried this place over and over again because it's close to my house and I really wanted to like it. Every time I leave disappointed. Once I asked for the $165 combo that includes a manicure, an $80 pedicure, and a facial. The facial didn't even last 15 minutes. They messed up the French tip on my pedicure, and then instead of just adding on money for me to get acrylic they charged me for all these things separately. Not only that, the lady didn't even do anything that a manicure is supposed to consist of. She didn't push my cuticles back, didn't ask if I would like them trimmed. Didn't cut off any of my dead skin. Just slapped some nails on and rubbed some lotion on me. THEY WERENT EVEN BUSY THAT DAY. I am willing to pay an exceptional amount of money for quality service, but that is something I do not get here. I just left there for the last time, after being charged $40 for a basic white tip. For those of you unaware, a basic glue-on white tip is usually $25-30. The price would be fine if I didn't leave BLEEDING, not even from her over-trimming my cuticles or dead skin because again, she didn't do it or even ask at all. She cut me by running the buffing tool over my skin, HARD. I had to ask this woman to do my nails thin and short over and over again to no avail. They are fat and much longer than I would like, not to mention CROOKED and with tons of BUBBLES. read more

My grandmother went to this nail salon on 3/25/2021 and she had a horrible experience with one of the male nail technicians. She has a disability in one of her hands and she cannot straighten it out perfectly and the male technician screamed and yelled at her to straighten it and she explained that she has a disability and he still continued to be cruel to her. Would not recommend what kind of person screams and yells at an old disabled woman. She said the whole shop was staring at her and she was so embarrassed. Pitiful place! If I could give a negative star I would. I had a full set acrylic set put on and days after I noticed lifting on my nails as if they were already past due for a nail fill. I called and went in to show them the issue and they asked me to come back and they would fix them. I was then thanked by the nail tech for giving her the opportunity to fix the problem. After she was half-way through informed me she would be charging me for a fill. I told her I would not be paying for a fill since it was clear there was issue with my nails days after and I called the business and was told to come in days after since they were so busy. She then stated she would soak them off instead. She put my hands in a bowl to soak off my nails and never came back. The owner came over to finish wiping off the acrylic that was left over on my nails. He did apologize and offered to redo my nails but I declined. I will not be going back to that salon. I let him know that she was a representative of his salon and that I had to come back multiple times to work around THEIR schedule to let them fix THEIR mistake and was treated to poorly. read more
