Years later and we're still here for our regular mani/pedi updates. Jet and Lynn have continued to make us feel comfortable and as welcome as guests in their home. Some changes have been made to the "walk-ins" policy and pricing structure, but nothing makes us uneasy or is out of line with other local shops. Came in for SNS. The place is beautiful, clean with friendly people. I enjoyed the atmosphere for sure! But my nails I'm not happy with. He asked if I wanted them cut down, I said a little. He never asked to what length, cut about half my length off. Never asked what shape or anything. The SNS is so thin one broke (taking my natural nail with it) while putting clothes in the washing machine 3 days later. Getting my nails done is a once a month treat for me. Now I have to go twice in a week and get a tip put on. Definitely will not be back. read more

First visit there. Just going for a gel polish change and shape up. Immediately I sat down in the chair and was greeted by Lisa! She was very sweet and nice and asked me what I wanted and engaged in small conversation. Which is awesome in my book. The cost was $20 (including the gel polish removal on both hands) She was fast and paid attention to detail of my nails and offered me a water . Overall everyone was nice and pleasant. I think I will go back there. Also the gel polish prices are not on the board so ask about pricing before sitting down. Such a great nail salon. The owner i believe did my nails and she did an excellent job. I had previous went to a place for SNS and the nails had started to fall off two or three days after i got them on. That's when i found unique nails and it's now been a week since I've had their dip powder nails done and I've not even got a cracked nail yet. The posted salon closing hours are 7 p.m., Monday-Friday. I arrived Friday at 6 p.m. The store open sign was illuminated. However, when I attempted to open the door it was locked. After peering in and finally knocking a woman opened the door to tell me they were closed. I looked at the store hours, again, that were posted on the outside of the door and called her attention to it. She said they were only taking appointments and were booked. I suggested that she make this clear on the door with signage so as to not inconvenience potential customers. I would have been a new customer but not anymore. I will be sure to tell others. In town on business and needed a quick break. I'd recommend calling to schedule an appointment, they will ask you to.co.e back.if they are booked up. I called and squeezed in before lunch. They were very prompt, and I was in a chair within ten minutes of showing up, which was a little early. The gentleman set up my chair and set the water to my preference and the then a woman came over and did my pedicure. I asked for shorter nails and she did work. Her pedicure was on point and my nails are nice and cleaned up now. She was very attentive and paid attention to detail making sure she didn't leave paint on my skin and reworking the nail as needed. I'd say definitely go here at least once before passing them up. They are in the Publix Plaza off Washington Rd and offer a mani/pedi deal for $35! read more

I was in town for business, called to schedule an appointment and was able to get in immediately for a pedi. Owners are professional, light-hearted and super friendly! Please do not waste your time or money. This has been the worst experience ever. I am new to the area and looking for a spot to get my mani/ pedi. I had to scrub my own feet and teach the guy how to put on polish. I repeat, STAY AWAY. I don't know why I thought nail techs would do a better job in the south. Jet did my nails and he did a fantastic job! This place is 20 minutes out of my way and I will drive that distance to get great work done on my hands and feet. Him and his wife, Lynn (sp?), were both super sweet. This shop does work by appointment only so make sure to call ahead to book your slot. That means that it's quiet and not chaotic. They can also focus on having a conversation with you, or letting you relax if that's what you prefer. The prices are comparable to most other places. I paid $25 for a full set of acrylic nails and $20 for a pedicure. They don't accept checks and prefer you to use cash. However, they do accept cards as well.
