Do not recommend this place! Waiting time can be over 45 mins to over an hour. I had to leave before because we couldn't sit and wait that long. Supervisor called to apologize and offered me a gift card next time we came in. Never got the gift card and then had to sit and wait again for my child to be seen. VERY long waits. Your time is NOT important to them. Definitely go elsewhere! My child will not be going there for his 2nd phase. The manager even told me they know the waiting time is an issue and they're working on it. (Doesn't seem like anything has changed). We are definitely not the only ones who have complained about this. We chose to take my other child to a different orthodontist since dealing with unique and it is a night and day difference. We will never return here. They also have a sign at the front that if you leave a good review you get a Starbucks gift card. read more

They say they offer a variety of locations and appointments, but some offices are only open one day a week. If I have to reschedule it puts the appointment out 2-3 weeks. If you are an adult interested in Invisalign, DO NOT go here. To any of their locations. They constantly drop the ball and I often heard different things from different people. No consistency. You'll wait about 1-2hours as a "walk in" if God forbid they screw up on gluing your attachments the day before so they fall off (not a fun experience). They told me something would be included in my plan at the start and now at the end they're saying it's NOT included. They told me they could take me in for LATE afternoon appointments(which is why I chose this place due to my work schedule in education) and several of my appointments HAD to be scheduled around 2pm at the latest according to their policy. I had them correct my name every time I went in for my appointments and every time I returned, they STILL had me under the wrong name. If I didn't have to pay for treatment again I would have switched in a heartbeat. It takes a lot for me to be an a-hole to a business since I'm normally a kind person, but this place is a joke. Avoid at all costs. Maybe they primarily service people and families who don't know how to advocate for themselves so that's why they're still in business. Very sad. read more

Absolutely rude and inconsiderate. Had an appointment that I was early for not to have them have a meeting well past my scheduled appointment time and not a single word apologizing about them holding a meeting recognizing new members while they had a room full of patients waiting to be seen. Very inconsiderate and without their customers in mind. I mean block out time and do not schedule patients during that time, quite simple. Meeting to recognize team members is great but plan accordingly and respect the time of the patients who also have things going on. read more

My visit was for a consultation for my 9year old daughter. As you enter the building the front staff does precautionary covid screening. The staff is very polite and pleasant. We were called immediately to the back for X-rays and within minutes the Dr. met with us I really appreciated how he explained the X-rays and what our options were for treatment being she is still young and not all her adult teeth have surfaced. Once we decided on a treatment we went to Mrs. Adriana's office. She has a very warm welcoming attitude. Mrs. Sanders showed my daughter and I videos of her treatment I really appreciated that she spoke to my daughter and acknowledged her presents. Finically they have affordable options and we ended up signing and getting braces on that same day. We had an incredible experience and I would highly recommend unique orthodontics. read more

Insanely great customer service! Let's start with the appointment. I look on their website and email for a consultation. I get a call back, and the receptionist is very pleasant and sounds knowledgeable. Then, I go into the office and I am immediately greeted. The receptionist hands me paperwork and asks for my insurance card and id. When she is finished making copies, she walks to where I am sitting hands me my cards back, and compliments my lipstick. Really? It's a small gesture, but a big impact. By taking the time to hand me my cards, rather than call me at the desk again, it shows they truly care about details. The consultation went excellent. I would never recommend this orthodontist. Every visit I noticed that the tooth that was bugging me and the reason I decided to get braces was not moving. I tried to explain this to him and he got very defensive and was very rude and unprofessional. What he ended up doing was just shaving my tooth so I wouldn't stick out. It was a horrible experience. The girls in the office are so rude at times. I will never come back here for anything once my daughters braces are off. I do not recommend if you have to change an appt. They are so rude. We have been coming here for almost 3 years. One time we were 2 minutes late. 2 Min. We got yelled and put down, "well you know you had an appt, you don't need to be late. Maybe you should arrange your timing better". 1 time it was pouring rain, and we could not find parking anywhere. We were 5 min late. They made my daughter wait for 1.5 hour to be seen. The three stars is for the scheduling dept. If you like to waste two hours of your work day...every time you come in here, this is the place for you. We NEVER have had a quick appt. Usually if your appt is at 3, they will call you back at 3:45 and then you wait some more. It shouldn't take this long. Also, they call to cancel your appt because they have an emergency but cant get you back in for a month. Glad my daughters braces will be off soon. read more

I love them! Most of the staff is friendly and easy going. Dr. Bayrakdarian is nice, friendly and extremely pleasant. I actually had a situation where I had to have my braces removed for a cervical MRI. They understood completely and charged me a nominal fee to get them removed and then put back on when the situation with my neck was resolved. The initial cost was reasonable as well. They worked with me (since I'm in my 40's my insurance covered none of the cost) and it was a reasonable down payment and monthly installments until my braces were paid in full. read more

I would not recommend Unique Orthodontics AT ALL. I originally got braces my senior year of high school and have always been very critical of my smile. I would tell the doctor what I was still concerned with but he was not fixing the things I was asking him to. Fast forward to when I was getting them off, I told the doctor that my teeth were still not straight enough and that I did not want the braces off in fear of having to get them on again. They still took off my braces and said my retainers should help straighten them out more, which retainers do not do. The doctor also had spacers in my mouth on my molars so my top teeth did not hit my bottom braces and did not remove them until the day I got my braces off, now my bite is not aligned and one side of my bite hits more than the other side. He also did not fix my overbite after pointing out that it had gotten worse. I had to end up getting braces on a second time because even with my retainers, my canines started receding back. After making me cry in his office and calling me a liar (I was 18 at the time and would go to my appointments alone) which is very unprofessional, they put braces on the top again. When taking them off, they wanted to shave my teeth (again) because we were supposed to place a permanent retainer on the top of my teeth. I did not want this to happen as they had already shaved my teeth the first time I got my braces off. Needless to say, they completely over-shaved my teeth and my teeth are still sensitive over a year later. The reason they had to shave them so much was since the doctor did not fix my bite, my bottom teeth kept hitting the retainer on the back of my top teeth. If they would have fixed my bite, they wouldn't have had that problem. Overall, 0/10 recommend. They do not listen to patient needs, you have to wait 45 minutes after your appointment time to be called to the back, and the orthodontist does not have your best interest in mind. Very unprofessional. I know have to spend even more money to have someone else fix what he didn't. Waste of time. read more

At first consultation, they were not pushy; they let me contact them when I was ready. They worked with me on my plan for being my 3rd time with braces & now as an adult. (Prior dentist messed up my teeth) Yeay for clear brackets! :) Every appointment I was greeted with a smile. No long waiting during my afternoon appointments, unlike other Dr offices. I'm finishing my procedure just as told. My teeth looked straight within the first 3 months! Maybe because my teeth are used to the movement already, not sure. My total procedure was 1 year. Honestly the ladies up front can be so rude. They shouldn't get so upset about rescheduling. I understand that you guys do get busy, but oh my goodness. If something comes up, something comes up. You can't stop that. They're extremely rude and not understanding at all. They just make people feel guilty about it and it sucks. That could be damaging to the patient whose receiving treatment because of all the negativity these ladies give the patients, it's really quiet stressing. This isn't the first time I've thought this about them, also some of the workers aren't good with answering questions and give off rude attitudes. My guardian had a question about what they were doing on my teeth, and the lady just sassed her and gave her attitude because she had just told me the information but my guardian wanted to hear the words herself. Needs more understanding staff. No one wants to feel uncomfortable being at their orthodontist. I understand scheduling is difficult. But just be a bit more understanding for people. Promise I won't try to reschedule as often but man I can't wait to get my braces off because they just make me feel so bad. It could be a great place, but it just needs a more positive atmosphere. Worst orthodontist I have ever been to. I went in there for the first time after having my retainers chewed up by a dog and I let them know that my teeth had shifted and that it wasn't going to be where I wanted my teeth. They acknowledged that and the next day I got my retainers. They fit tight but the lady told me I had to get accustomed to them. She said to come back if I needed any adjustments and that adjustments would be $50. About a month later I scheduled a visit to have my retainers adjusted. Aside from waiting thirty minutes after my scheduled time and aside from the rude doctor, I finally got to the back and was told that retainers cannot be adjusted and that when the technician said "adjust" she really meant "check" Absolutely ridiculous way of treating a patient. read more

This is a very unreliable orthodontic practice that I would not recommend for anyone. I chipped one of my molars and had to get it polished. Since this is considered a dental emergency, I was not able to call in ahead to get a new retainer made (not realizing the fact that my retainer could no longer fit.) This happened on Wednesday, and they weren't able to make me new retainers until NEXT THURSDAY. That is 8 days with out a retainer, and it was just 2 months ago that I got my braces off, so obviously my teeth shifted. read more

I've had my brances on for 2 years and 4 months my last appointment I asked about how much longer I had until I got them off. When I first got my braces I was supposed to get them off anywhere from 22-24 months so it should've been 4 months ago. The doctor told me I had another 12 to 18 months more so about 40-46 months in total from start to finish until my braces are off. They have a lot of locations and they don't treat you well.
