Highly recommend if you're looking for someone who has great customer service and pays attend to detail. I've been a regular for waxes at this Unique location since last summer. They are only a few minutes away from my house so I can be home and back in a little over 30 min. Most of the time I make appointments online but if I decide to drop in, I try to go on less busy days like Monday or Tuesday. All of my service providers have been great; some are more talkative than others which can make the process a little easier as a distraction. The waiting area and service rooms are always clean, and I've been greeted and taken care of soon after I check in. You get a discount when you pay cash, and I love to pay with cash so this is awesome for me. There is plenty of free parking because of the underground garage but rarely any spaces available in the parking lot near the business. The only thing I don't like is not being able to choose my service person. Although I've gotten lucky to have my fav often, it's just luck, and I'd like to be able to have her all the time. I hate to admit it but my mother is right. I need to stop saying never. Before today I would NEVER walk into a random shop to get my eyebrows threaded without a recommendation from someone else whose brows I approve of, or doing online research for reviews. But ya know what?! I did! and I am very happy! I was sick and tired of walking around looking like Alf because my regular person is no longer an option. I just prayed for good vibes and walked in today to this location, on the way to my car after breakfast at First Watch. 100% spontaneous! I was greeted by Zahra (or Zara not sure the spelling) and immediately taken care of. She was super nice and assuring. Within a few quick minutes she totally restored my brows!!! Very happy and will be returning. First time clients get 20% off so it was only $8 but definitely worth more. read more

Hey! I've been a customer at this company since 2018 & have formed close relationships with the staff. I recommend my girly girls to visit Unique Threading mainly bc you can get multiple services at 1 location. I normally get a full face thread (eyebrows, mustache, chin, etc) along with a Brazilian wax. I highly recommend the Midtown Madison location & ask for Sarah. I recently met the owner and loved her personality (she recommended a product & gave it to me for FREE). Lastly, the points system Unique Threading offers is a plus for us ladies who get these services monthly. This was one of the best experiences I've had! Gigi was so gentle. She was patient and help great conversation. I got my eyebrows threaded. I usually get waxed because threading hurts, but Gigi don't hurt at all. I also got a Brazilian which wasn't painful either. I would definitely come here for all your wax/threading needs! read more

This is not the best location. Not only do they lock the doors before their advertised closing time, but they're quick to argue with you when they can't properly remove hair as expected (eyebrow threading). When the technician improperly removed at first pass, they shortened the hair without removing it to where it couldn't catch the thread on a second pass. The Buckhead location is much, much better -- but just a haul for me since I live on the east side. read more

Awful customer service. I came in and no customers present a middle eastern lady said she would be right with me. Ten minutes later still no assistance, someone came from the back with food in her mouth asking if I had been helped. I responded "no" she stated it would probably be 15 minutes. I just left without receiving service and will not return. read more

Today was my first time to this location. It's a pretty new location. I called ahead and they had availability. I called yesterday and they were booked so I would recommend calling ahead of you can. It's very clean. I believe they're requiring masks upon entry (I was wearing one). I got the $99 full body wax and eyebrow threading. Zara was my esthetician and she was amazing. She did an excellent job , very professional , personable , and precise. I would highly recommend. Very clean , Covid prevention measures in place , friendly staff. I went here three times and got a different experience every time. My first time here was alright - wax was good, but nothing else to comment on. The second time I went, the esthetician was personable and really easy to connect with. We conversed the whole time! My most recent visit, the esthetician clearly didn't want to be there and it showed. She was very careless in her wax removal process. One time, she pulled the wax off, saw me wince a bit, and she shrugged and said "beauty is pain." It was that interaction that prompted me to go back to my usual wax studio. I tried this one out because it's close to OTF, but I don't think I'll be back. read more

There are multiple Unique locations, and this is not the best one. (Read these reviews carefully; some were left for different locations by people who weren't aware that each one has a different Yelp entry.) Waxing/sugaring is usually fine, but the waxer with the shoulder-length bob and heavy bang doesn't clean up properly and will leave wax on your skin that ends up getting on your clothes; it doesn't come of (fabulous haircut, though). The threading has become so hit or miss that I no longer recommend this location. I usually ask for Mina, but she wasn't there last time, and the tech I got was really slow and used a lot of pressure. It hurt like crazy, and she broke the skin under my left eyebrow. A couple of times before that my brows have been uneven, they've taken off the ends, or the lines weren't sloppy. Your eyebrows are the foundation of your face. Someone taking off the ends may not sound like a big deal, but it is -- it makes your face look wider. I started going to the Ponce location; the threaders are more consistent so you'll be OK regardless of who takes you. read more

Wax was ridiculously hot and all the hair wasn't even taken off. I asked if it could cool off just a bit & was disregarded. Not to mention I was grifted $10 off my change after already tipping generously. Did not catch it until I was home counting my change (also did not go anywhere after I left so no way I could've lost fresh money out the atm) Btw they say their card reader is not working now which is the reason I had to go to the Public atm for change, but I see now this just an excuse to STEAL. read more

This was the worst experience ever! I made the appointment online. Upon entry nobody said good afternoon, hello, nothing. Ok. I go to the little podium tell the lady I have an 1230 appointment. She then points to the room. Ok. About 1 1/2 minutes later she knock and come in at the same time while I'm still removing my panties. Ok she then proceeds to put an insane amount of powder on me. Do these people not know this is linked to cancer? Ok She then put the VERY hot wax on. She could have fanned or waved it, but she went right from wax to skin like she wanted to cause extra pain on purpose. She never said her name or what she was about to do, didn't confirm if i was getting a bikini or Brazilian. OK .when I say this is the roughest I was EVER handled in my life. She was handling me as if I had no feelings. When I said something she mumbled something under her mask. This was the worst experience ever. When she finished she began to angrily clean the room while I was getting dressed. Whatever she spayed on the table got all on me and the side of my thighs. I hope I'm not allergic. I never got waxed and had the person clean the room while I was in there gettin dressed. Ok. When she went to the register so I could pay she did not look up once. And to think, I was still considering leaving her a tip. When she handed me my receipt- I said "thank you" she did not open her mouth. The person in the waiting area looked and made a face as she seen the employee say nothing as well. I will grow a bush or drive across town before I EVER spend my money here again. read more

I'm both particular and not always sure what I want when it comes to getting my eyebrows threaded/tinted, but Simran always helps guide me with great advice and my eyebrows always come out looking THE BEST! She listens to exactly what I need and also takes creative control to make my eyebrows look amazing every time. Simran is so patient and kind, and honestly, just a joy to talk to. I tried this place because I needed a wax, but didn't have time to get to my normal spot in Buckhead. At first, I wasn't sure that it would work out because I tried a couple of times to book an online appointment and kept getting an error. After no success there, I called the number to book over the phone and got a man's voicemail. Ever persistent, I drove there and inquired. The next day, I was about to book without issue. I got a call to confirm my appointment, and another to inform me that they'd been having some issues with their card reader, and it was best if I brought cash. I appreciated the confirmation and information in advance. When my appointment came, I was pleased that there wasn't a wait. The service provider was polite, knowledgeable, and informed me of each step. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I'll definitely be going back. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the initial booking issues. Other than that, it was a great service experience. read more

Great staff they all abided by COVID guidelines. I made my appointment by phone prior to coming in there was a small wait before me but that was fine. It was my first time getting a full body with Brazilian wax and the woman made me feel very comfortable throughout the process and it didn't hurt as bad as I thought it would after she was done I was able to spin a wheel to claim a prize I won hand sanitizer which came on a key chain. As someone who had been going there for 8 years + you would think a phone call or email explaining this would be nice. They said I would no longer be able to book online which is absurd. I'm not going to risk waiting in a walk in appointment. The lack of communication and treatment is truly terrible. Not to mention the girl on the phone who told me this was so rude, saying I was lying and it was all my fault. I will have to try to find a new wax space because this is truly terrible customer service. The only reason they got 2 stars is because I have gotten very good waxes in the past

Also the esthetician I saw, Dina, was so sweet and she made the wax as painless as a wax can be. She was quick, but made sure that the job was done well and to my satisfaction. The place was really chic and clean! I will definitely go back. I got a Brazilian wax for $35. Parking is free. No online booking just yet, but you can call them to schedule an appointment. apparently, it will start getting really packed in the upcoming season so appointments are recommended.
