I have sent my mom there for check ups because she has a history of melanoma, and she only ever has positive things to say about Dr. Turegano. Today, her staff managed to fit me in to see her because I was having a reaction to adhesive from dressings due to wound care from a recent breast reduction. I always appreciate Dr. Turegano's opinion and perspective. It is always very helpful.

I love getting oxygen facials and a variety of others that I just discovered last spring when I signed up for a subscription plan at the spa close to home in New York. Upon moving back to NOLA, I searched Yelp for a med spa with a subscription plan and immediately made my appointment. A subscription plan is nice because going monthly is key to keeping your skin in tip top shape. Admittedly I haven't done much more than use good products throughout my adulthood but now I'm a believer! I also get the occasional laser Genesis treatments (evens skin tone, erases fine lines et), which Hickham has here as well. It's the least invasive laser (honestly, I always think lasers hurt) and leaves you positively glowing. My appointment was with Dawn and she was great! We did dermaplaning and the laser Genesis and I left loving my positively dewy skin. No downtime with Laser Genesis either. Hickham offers two kinds of subscription services, one for facials and one for laser treatments and microneedling (which is a little scary for me but I may check it out eventually). Both plans get you discounts on other products and services at the spa. I also visited with Dr. Hickham for that oh-so-crucial full body scan, which was quick and easy. I'll definitely be going back to her if and when I need to as she made me feel super comfortable. I'll be back regularly!

I wanted to give them my credit card so that they would charge me monthly and they mentioned that they work with a provider named Cherry and I should go through them. The total amount was to be paid through Cherry in 6 months 1st payment starting in December in the amount of $771.43 and monthly thereafter with no interest if paid within 6 months. What I did not know was that Cherry would pay Saintly Skin the whole amount upfront. I needed to move back to CA and let Shontell, the receptionist and Penny, the practitioner know about this two months ahead. Until then I had received 2 full body and 1 partial treatment yet the service provider and Cherry have kept charging me even though I wasn't receiving any treatment. When I mentioned this to Shontell, she told me that I needed to contact Cherry directly to resolve the issue which I had done exactly what she said. However, they told me that they can not do anything on their end and it must be resolved by Saintly Skin. I explained to Shontell the situation and she told me that she would let Kevin, the manager know. I've called numerous times, left messages but no response. It took him about 6 weeks to respond saying that they don't have any refunds for whatever reason whether used or not and I should have paid more attention when I filled out and signed the forms. He even sent me a photo of the posted sign on a piece of paper in the waiting room saying that there were no refunds which I neither saw nor paid attention to. However, it was never mentioned or explained to me by the staff that once you sign this there's no return. I also did not know that the whole treatment would take 12 months. When I consulted with one of the practitioners, she gave me a piece of paper on it written how many sessions needed for each body part mentioned above 4 & 8 weeks. I thought I'd be done in 8 weeks. What she forgets to mention is that EVERY 4 & 8 weeks. After the 1st session when I made an appointment, she gave me a date 2 months ahead. When I asked why so late she said that oh that's how the treatment works because of the hair cycle. Anyways, I explained everything to Kevin telling him that it's neither fair nor ethical to charge me for the services I didn't receive and asked for a friendly solution. But he was determined to eat the Bread of Shame, for unearned money his business was taking from me. What he doesn't realize is that there's something bigger than all of us. Whatever we do in this life will come to us in the same manner whether good or bad. Although I find Unsaintly Skin unprofessional, unethical, and corrupt, the staff were very kind and friendly, especially Penny, she rocks.

My experiences here have never been smooth sailing but ultimately I really like Katherine so I continued to do botox with her and on July 9th HAD an appt for my lips, 2nd time, and botox, 3rd time. Well I had an email from them about on sale dermablading and work very hard so I said ok ill treat myself. The appt was great, I really enjoyed getting to know Charli a little better and they had a super sweet girl in there I had never met so I got to meet her as well. Charli even turned me on to the Color Science voodoo 50 SPF tinted moisturizer, which I bought and ABSOLUTELY LOVE. WELL let's fast forward 3-4 days later and my face was extremely swollen, looked almost like an abcess had formed where I had a blemish that wasn't all the way healed when I went in for my dermablading. Noone said it was an issue so i didn't think it was. Boy was I WRONGGGGGGGG. MY FACE WAS SO SWOLLEN, refer to pictures, on the fourth/fifth day after I had no choice but to go ro Urgent care cause I didn't want to go to the er but it was Sunday and I had to go somewhere. Of course I was right. I had a staph infection on my face. I was given a steroid shot in my hip a steroid to take a home and also Bactrum antibiotic. On Monday is when I went ahead and reached out. So much is wrong with how this place handled me. For one the ONLY person I was allowed to talk to, complain to, was the person that actually did the procedure, Charli. She was apologetic said she would call Katherine and get back to me. At this point i would've bet my life Katherine was gonna call me and so we could talk about this BIG ISSUE. WELL, THANK GOD I didn't bet anyone cause it was actually, you guessed it, Charli thar called me back to say these things happen unfortunately and they would give me my $65 back if I would like. I just had to laugh and hang up. NO LOVE YOU CAN KEEP YHE $65, OBVIOUSLY Y'ALL NEED IT MORE THAN ME. AND im sure there is some truth to the whole, these things happen.
