Of course they re-rent the equipment ...how nice for them. Very disappointed. We never had a chance to use the lift as my friend died.

When I went to the doctor he put me in a cast for 4 weeks and said I was to be non-weight bearing for the same time. Needless to say, his treatment was a game changer for me. I was panicked at my new life station. How was I going to get around campus to my job? How was I going to get into my house? Crutches just would not work for me. I am far to clumsy for crutches. My doctor told me about Criticare and so I went there looking for a knee scooter. They fixed me up in no time at all. They showed me how to use the scooter and get on my merry way. The scooter was terrific. A week after I had the scooter, I had another little spill when I had to swerve to miss someone who stepped in my way. The scooter wheel alignment was off so I took it back to Criticare for what I thought would be a quick repair. I was wrong... there was no quick work around for this issue. They were going to have to keep the scooter to fix. The problem was they did not have a replacement scooter. They were all rented out. I panicked because there was no way for me to get from Point A to Point B without this device. Criticare offered all sorts of alternatives, they looked high and low for a replacement. When they realized they did not have another scooter, they called a competitor to find a scooter for me. They reserved it in my name and gave me directions to the other store. I could not believe how kind and generous they were to me. Not many businesses would send you to a competitor. I was overwhelmed. The staff is top rate and so very caring. They do everything possible to get you comfortable and to find the right product for you. When other customers came in for service, you could tell they formed a personal relationship with the customer. They were friendly and remembered details about the customers. One of the staff members said to me, "I remember you! You were here a week ago, weren't you, Tracy?" She was spot on. Great place and wide selection of materials.

We contracted this company to install a wheelchair lift which required a wooden deck to be built…read moreinside of our garage. The flawed engineering design didn't account for the home's attic space-and ladder clearance, which was witnessed by the person installing the deck after he was complete. 101 Mobility then recommends that we flip the ladder to have it extend the other way. We again expressed our doubts about the clearance but left it to the pro's. Guess what? It didn't work! We had a representative (Bill) of the company to come out to see this was an issue before the arrival of the actual lift. Bill thinks it's going to clear before he leaves, but adds that the attic space may need to be relocated if the lift arrives and it doesn't work. Guess what? The lift arrives and the tech's wouldn't even take the lift off the truck because it..."wouldn't work!". We called the company to see what's happening because the job that was bid was already paid for and there didn't seem to be a proactive approach to mitigating this mistake. The company recommended that we pay extra to fix their engineering mistake⁉. We replied f**k no! Bill then says it was our mistake that we wasn't present to show him the attic space WITH A 4 FOOT CORD HANGING from it at the time he came to look at the home to bid the job (but Bill still had access to the home).

I give Curtis Taylor of Independent Home Solutions 10 gold stars for his assistance to us…read more Hi, My name is Steve Huckins, we purchased a used stairlift for my wife and I need help installing and troubleshooting the stairlift. We purchased a used Bruno SRE-3000 and have it partially installed. We had it operational before installing it. We can't get the charger to go from Red to Yellow or green. And no local stairlift companies will help us because it's a used unit. We really need help, Thank you, Steve & Ginger Huckins Curtis, That would be great as long as you service the Troy area. I just need help, the chair worked great before I took it off the rail to install the rail. I am having the darnest time getting any sort of help. Because it's a used unit. Long story short. Then when I initially put the chair on I did a break a part but I found it on line & replaced it. It was the SRE-30035. Then I put the chair back on the rail with that assembly & the cover off, so I could see and not damage that again. We just moved here and I'm just trying to make it so my wife can access the basement. Thank you, Steve & Ginger Huckins Unfortunately we are located in the Kansas City area and that's outside of our normal service area. However, I'm guessing from what you're telling me that you may have blown the fuse when taking the motor off the rail. If so it's a 5amp mini blade fuse which is located on the carriage of the motor. This fuse can be purchased at just about any auto parts store. Hopefully this information helps you out. Curtis, YES, YES, it was the fuse. Thank you, Thank you A 1000 thank you's. Words cannot express my appreciation for your help. Steve & Ginger Huckins Curtis, $5.00 for the 6 pack of fuses. I was prepared to spend $250-$750 to figure that out. I am speechless, thank you. Steve
