Folks - if you ever manage to get an upgrade to United Polaris class flying into Heathrow please make time to use the arrivals lounge! They give you a coupon as you leave the plane but that won't get you in ..... so you can't give to a friend or bring in a guess. They check to make sure that you were indeed a Polaris (Business) passenger. Since I have flown so much on United over the years (almost 2 million miles) I have had quite a few upgrades recently. Basically come out of the baggage check and look left as you see daylight and folks waiting for loved ones - and there it is! The offerings are complete breakfast of every kind (cooked but also cold cuts, cheese, oatmeal, toast, cereals, pastries, juices, coffee and everything else. But the BEST part - put your name on the list and within a few minutes you have your very own shower suite and the luxury of all luxuries after a transoceanic flight - a HOT SHOWER. You are civilized, you smell good and you can drive home without falling asleep at the wheel!! Two thumbs up Review #60 2019

I like the spot. It opens to Polaris class travelers and Global Services types. They will take you straight to showers which I have come to appreciate. I like their menu selection. Very small bite size breakfast items. The showers are comfortable and have your usual Polaris class amenities. The breakfast smoothies on the buffet section is quite delightful. You find lots of travelers here early in the morning as most of us don't have a hotel room yet though I generally just want to relax a bit before getting in an Uber. Brits have caught the avocado bug. So expect your toast filled with avocados. Just the way this Californian likes it.

Small lounge. Invite only. They had a nice selection of food laid out, but what I really loved was the food selection on the menu... it was like a five star chef made it! He got the French toast and I got the salmon avocado. Both were amazing in taste and sight! They have nice showers as well. And the staff at the counter was nice. Just a great way to refresh after landing in London!

It is a good arrival lounge, with showers and generously sized individual bathrooms. I come here about every other week this year and it has been good so far. I don't always take a shower if my first night in the UK is nearby, but it has been a very nice thing to take a shower after landing. It has a menu as well for à la carte items, see the picture. Portion sizes are small but you don't pay extra for those. Besides that there is a small buffet with some baked goods, small (very small) cups of smoothie, fruits and yogurt. A number of drinks and of course a coffee maker. Seating is good though not every seat has power, but I bring my own large power pack that can power my laptop. Staff is professional and courteous, especially when there is no cricket on tv :-). If you are an American Express customer or Priority Pass holder you may also be eligible for the other arrival lounge next door, Priority Pass Lounge. It also has showers, but the food is terrible and they don't have decent coffee, the United lounge is much better.

Exactly what you need when you arrive off an overnight flight. Great showers. Nice lounge and breakfast options Tip - get here as quickly as you can as they quickly develop a wait list for showers. The lounge is also small but there are seats for everyone, just not many more.

    Small but nice.

Small and nice little stop of you have time to kill after landing and want food or a shower. If you're like me you just wanna leave an airport as soon as possible. But this is a good alternative if you're stuck.

One of many made-to-order items on the menu: toast with hummus and avocado and poached egg

Great lounge!! Shower service didn't have long wait and they also have ironing service. In addition to standard breakfast items like yogurt, muesli, breakfast sandwiches, pastries and croissants, you can get made-to-order dishes from the menu, which includes eggs in various forms, waffles and healthy poached egg/avocado/hummus toast. Overall it's great place to rest a bit before you head out to next destination.

After our negative experience with British Airways customer service, my friend and I spent a couple…read morehours shopping in the terminal then headed to No. 1 Lounge since it was the one closest to where we happened to be in the terminal. The line was out the door with a 30 minute wait (and frankly not my favorite lounge, see my separate review of that one), and thankfully they told us to head to My Lounge which had more availability. They are both run by the same company, with My Lounge being recently remodeled and reopened (previously Club Aspire) in the past few months. Walking into the lounge it's decorated with a cozy vibe, think textured brick walls, warm jewel tone tweed textures on the furniture with medium wood accents in the floor and bookshelves, reminiscent of a modern family room. Seating inside looks roughly enough for about 100 people, at mostly lounge chairs and couches. There's decent spacing so that it doesn't feel too crowded. Check-in counter is immediately inside the entrance, at around 10:30am it wasn't too crowded, we were able to enter right away. Later on when we left around 1pm there was a short wait of about 10-15 minutes. Directly to the right of the check-in, there's a small, more private lounge room with seating for about 8-10 which is where we parked ourselves. Walking left past the check-in counter the space opens up to a bar serving liquor and cocktails, and a food bar along the wall. They had breakfast food set out, including yogurt, smoothies, granola and cereal, cut fruit, bread and mini pastries, and warm food including all the elements of a traditional English breakfast including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, baked beans, toast, roasted tomatoes, roasted potatoes. There was also a pancake station which I've seen at a couple other Europe lounges, and you can basically pour your own batter and it goes through a mini oven and pops out cooked on the other side. Around noon they also set out lunch food though we didn't end up eating much of that. Free WiFi is available and strong. There are screens scattered around the lounge with airline info though similar to other lounges no announcements are made, so you have to keep track of your own boarding time. Bathrooms are in decent shape. Normal hours are 5:00am to 10:00pm. Not a bad place to spend a few hours, would def stop by again if I lay over at Heathrow Terminal 3! This lounge has the space as in a huge area, the relaxed vibe, the very comfortable chairs and sofas to make this the perfect stop and break when taking that 15-20 hour flight to Asia with the one stop in London. Well this stop is the best. The team here is outstanding. They have a greeter 30 feet outside the entrance. There have always been 3 staff members at the check in which is in seconds. Love the selection and top shelf beverage and wine variety. Really love the ice cream cart. Get a genuine and full English breakfast here. The handy QR codes make it so easy and convenient to order and instantly receive food, drinks and amenities right at one's seat. Enjoy the ultimate shopping experience as you jump on the " Reserve and Collect" computers to reserve and shop from any store or boutique at the airport. All this while checking out the sun teasing with a ten second appearance and the planes entering and exiting the gates a few hundred feet away The team here keeps the buffet stocked and picks up used plates in a jiffy. The sad part is leaving after settling into that beautiful LazyBoy armchair and hopping on the sometimes crowded elevator( excuse me lift) as the escalators going down are temporarily out. First Class all the way.
