Having been to many United Club lounges, I would say that the one here at Boston Logan is one of the better ones. There is a large seating area and the food selection is pretty good. On a recent trip, I had rotisserie chicken, Boston clam chowder, broccoli cheese soup, and figs. The grapefruit-mint-infused water was also refreshing for a hot summer day. The staff frequently replenishes food and drinks, so the buffet is always full. read more

This place needs better service and an upgrade. Compared to most lounges it is plain vanilla nothing. The food selection looks like more of a pot-luck than professional catering. The staff went by our row at least six times with their clean-up cart and didn't pick up several dirty glasses and plates, until I had to personally ask them to. United is treating the lounge, which is an important part of traveling, like it treats its flights; with cost-cutting, crappy service, and almost no accountability. For a transcontinental trip and an unexpected earlier arrival and TSA screening, the United Club offers a more patrician way than the cacophony of Terminal B. Ample, modern, and well suited for weary travelers, with a nice breakfast bar evoking a bygone era in air travel. The food included omelets, fruit, different breads to suit almost every taste, and a self service espresso machine that makes quite passable drinks. The receptionists are affable, courteous and helpful. Once inside, folks are busy in their laptops and smart devices. Plenty of charging docks. This is one of the more updated United Clubs that I've been to, which is a nice change of pace. The space itself is on the 3rd floor, accessed by the elevator near the Terminal B Legal Seafoods. The entire space is incredibly bright, with a ton of windows and a huge footprint overall. There are a lot of tables/chairs of different sizes/a big bar space, and counter seating by the windows with a lot of chargers where you can sit with a view and see the runway. The bar has the typical United Club offerings, with limited free alcoholic beverages that's lower end quality and a bunch of pay-for options. The prices are fair considering it's the airport (large pour of Sauv Blanc was $12) and the food options are decent and always feature a vegetarian item, which I appreciate. There's usually a soup, two hot entrees, a build-your-own charcuterie station, and salad options, plus a section dedicated to desserts/snacks. The service is always great and the space is incredibly clean, with workers coming to clear dishes almost immediately upon them being finished. There aren't private restrooms, however they're always incredibly clean, so it's a way better experience than using the other options in the terminal. I've spent countless hours here over the years and it's always comfortable and having the chargers basically everywhere is always nice to get work done. Not the best domestic lounge I've been to, but high above a lot of them out there and it being so bright in there is such an added plus. 5 stars for natural light, 4 for it being a basic but really decent option to kill time during your time at the airport. read more

A decent sized lounge with updates on the finishes. The floor to ceiling windows with runway views is the real draw here. We loved setting up with our lunch and watching the air traffic. There's a notable room set aside for completing your business calls without annoying other people. But being a club lounge, of course there will always be self-important dudes who feel compelled to announce their presence with loud phone conversations. Food was just okay. Definitely had better in other cities. Hightop seating is plentiful. Comfy low chairs are nice, but they're right in the middle of foot traffic. read more

I got a one time pass to United Club but they wouldnt let me in. There policy is that the card holder and authorized users can use the pass. I am an authorized user. Although they would not let me enter despite their own policy. They either need to train staff of their own policy, or change their policy. I'd also like to note that it was crowded in there and the lounge has a foul odor. read more

My experience here was a fabulous one. It wasn't crowded, there were lots of decent eating options and real silverware, cups and plates. I never realized what a difference this makes for me, but it was nice not eating with plastic and drinking out of cardboard! The best yet was that the coffee machine was for sure working and they had different cream options, all stored in a nearby mini fridge. Service here was great too. Friendly and helpful. read more

We lucked out in that we made it for the tail-end of breakfast but also got to indulge in the lunch spread. Around 9-10am Food review They served the normal breakfast foods - Chobani yogurt, plain bagel, hot mini egg with English muffin, orange juice, cantaloupe/pineapple fruit cup, flavored oatmeal cup, Cheerios, hard boiled egg, etc.. The only thing I really enjoyed from this lounge, aside from the coffee machine that is standard in all, was that they had an avocado toast with sun-dried tomato. I am flying premier and business class. Yet, the United lounge denied me admittance unless I paid $59 per person. I'm flying with my family and paid for business class because I know if my 6 hour holdover. The club agent said that in terminal B this is not a normal united club. I asked to look around. It is large, busy, and the food st lunch looked like hell along with the furnishings were old, tired and not with it. I went to the bathroom. No soap in any of the automated dispensers. Another guy said he asked an hour ago for them to add soap and he said he had little hope of anything. He also said his is a crappy lounge. I used to fly UA a lot, this is a reason a stopped. I am so upset and disappointed that I paid an extra $2800 for business class knowing of my delay here and cannot use the lounge. Never again. UA you are history to me and I see why business travelers do not find you to be friendly. In all fairness to UA, they denied free entry because I had a business class ticket originating in Boston as opposed to going to an international location. I obtained the welcome bonus miles on The United Explorer Card and was accorded two flights to both Buffalo and Virginia, as well as two passes for the United Club. Easily the most generous airlines when it comes to rewards! This club is really nice. My flight was delayed by an hour due to a storm and I barely noticed. The front desk staff helped me with my delay. You can sit right by the window and see the planes come and and take off. I munched on fresh salad, New England clam chowder, and a cappuccino. There is a abundant reading material and an overall excellent place to spend your time. read more

Having visited the United Club here several times over the years, I finally decided it's time to write a small blurb about it. For an outstation United Club (i.e. one that is not at one of United's hubs), the BOS location is one of the better ones IMO. It's one of the first clubs to feature the more modern finishes and provide updated furniture, which I find most useful because of the large number of power outlets available (although some are of questionable use - I feel like United definitely skimped on the quality of the outlets themselves). It's also one of the largest from a footprint perspective; every time I have been here, I do not recall it ever being so crowded that I had trouble finding a seat. The club itself has great views facing out towards the taxiways and runways - great for aviation enthusiasts, but it can get pretty bright depending on the time of day. The food selection is pretty standard as far as UA fare goes, although on my most recent visit, I did feel that the fresh food selection (itself a huge upgrade from the pre-packaged stuff present during the Jeff Smisek era) was a bit lacking relative to other offerings I have encountered in other United Clubs. I would need to come back at another time of day to opine overall, but the food has never been the primary reason to visit a UC; it is more to get a respite from the crowds in the terminal. In that sense, the BOS UC is a pleasant oasis to spend some time (hopefully not too much - otherwise your flight is probably delayed) before flying off. But relative to some of the other clubs in United's network, the Boston location is one of the better ones. read more

This is probably going to be my favorite United Club for a delicious reason. I had a chance to use this lounge for the first time a few days ago on my work trip. I have wanted to come to this one at Boston Logan Airport because I read somewhere sometime ago that lobster rolls were served at this United Club. So I went in here looking forward to grab a lobster roll or two, but I could not find it. I asked one of the attendants and she told me they no longer serve lobster rolls. She said that was for a limited time about a year ago. What a bummer. However, instead of lobster rolls, they had New England Clam Chowder. I was happy with that because I remember paying a good amount of money for a cup of N. E. Clam Chowder at the Legal Seafood at the same terminal before. (And this clam chowder tasted exactly like Legal Seafood's!) I had a plate of healthy salad, an apple, some cheese with crackers, bread and two cups of N. E. Clam Chowder. I was a happy camper. But please start serving LOBSTER ROLLS again. read more

Pretty cool perk when traveling. The atmosphere was quiet and a total different feeling from a regular gate. The was a pretty nice big bar, coffee bar with espresso and a full spread of breakfast/lunch items. There was also several Fresh fruit flavored water. Patrick my bartender was really pleasant and nice to chat with. Everything was very clean and more than enough areas to plug your cell/laptop or whatever. I visited this club in November 2022. The space was clean and almost empty when I visited. There was plenty of seating. The food selection was decent for a domestic airport lounge: a small salad bar, cheese and cold cuts platter, a couple soup options, chips and salsa, one finger sandwich option, a couple fruit items, cookies and cake. The clam chowder was tasty. The salad bar was passable. There was also a bar that looked well-stocked though I didn't order anything. Clean bathrooms but no showers. No nap rooms or designated quiet areas. All in all, this club's a good place to pass the time waiting for a flight. read more

First allow me to preface this review on the fact that I do not pay to use UC's at any US airport, my company does, so when it's a service I pay nothing for my standards are not what they might be if I was forking over the money myself. United is unlike some airlines in that airport club membership is not bestowed unless you pay, regardless of how many miles you may have. United has a tiered system for frequent travelers called Mileage Plus. I am currently a Platinum member, but even the top"1K" tier above me still has to hand over cash for club usage, though I believe it is at a discounted rate. I find this rather lame personally, as I suspect many others do as well, though this is outside the scope of the services and amenities of this club in particular. My job requires me to spend a great deal of time in and out of Logan airport, and if I have to be there for any length of time I always make a mad dash for this place the second I get past security. Wait until you have a flight delayed for a couple of hours or more and you will quickly learn to appreciate this place. I have been to UC's at several other US airports and this one is my personal fav. It has never been particularly crowded at this UC, which is odd considering the one I go to at O'hare is always a zoo (much like O'hare itself). Staff here has been impeccably friendly in that signature New England kind of way, and the Wifi here is fantastic. Logan airport itself does have free Wifi, but to call it awful would be a compliment. It's functionally useless much of the time. Seating is comfy and the view looking out onto the runways is pleasant on a clear day. Food and snacks here are adaquate but nothing that would set the world on fire either. The breakfast is just a marginal step above what you would likely revive at the breakfast buffet back at your hotel. They have wine, beer and cocktails also of course, but no top shelf liquor to be had unfortunately. Overall, 3.5/5 would be my overall position at this club though I rounded up to 4 for the purposes of Yelp, and I have been to many different United Clubs at several different airports. This is a pleasant oasis to hang out in before a flight and a veritable gift from God himself if you are faced with a long flight delay. Access to the United Club does spoil you immeasurably after a period of time. Don't believe me? Wait until you are faced with a 4 hour delay and the United Club at the airport you happen to be at is under construction. Being cast out with the masses back to the terminals to screaming babies, attitudinal airport employees and only slightly organized chaos will make you count your lucky stars. read more

The United Club at Logan was my first experience in a United Club and I was not impressed on any front. Other than getting away from the busyness of the main floor, there wasn't much being offer in the club that I could partake of (or wanted to partake of). First, food - clearly, they did not do much consideration for any kind of dietary restrictions. So essentially, if you'll shovel anything down your mouth, the club's food *might* be of interest. Second, beer - isn't one of the best perks supposed to be complimentary alcohol? Well yes, you do get complimentary beer and wine. But the reason it's free is because it's not something anyone should pay for. While I cannot vouch for the quality of the house wine, the beer that was complimentary was domestic crap like budweiser. Only if you wanted to pay some ridiculous sum could you get Lagunitas. Now, I'm not saying Lagunitas is the worst beer out there but it's certainly not the best and definitely not something that I would pay more than $5 for anywhere. Are other United Club's any better??? I hear Heathrow is quite the experience, so maybe I'll have to skip their domestic club experience going forward. read more

I have been to pretty much every United Club in the US and this is by far my favorite. It's a beautifully designed space above terminal B, providing amazing views of the runways. I could sit here all day and watch planes take off and land. It's a very airy and modern club, one of the newest UCs in the system. And it's never over crowded. They offer some breakfast items in the morning, and light snacks during the afternoon. The bar offers free beer, wine, and house cocktails (no champagne unfortunately). This club truly is a wonderful place to spend time before a flight, and sure beats sitting in the crowded and noisy terminal. It doesn't make sense to me that people are giving this United Club low ratings because they didn't have access to the club. It seems childish. Totally digging this place. The view is awesome, the breakfast buffet has healthy choices, and the design is chic and modern. I just might consider joining. It is quiet for the most part, unless you get those noisy families that straddle their cranky kids. United Staff for the most part is very pleasant and genuinely nice. I even got a phone call from the baggage claim office indicating to me they had my bag and that she would be putting it aside for me. It's the young African American United Airlines employees that generally don't look happy and stare back with a glare as If I'm stupid for asking a question. Yes, I went there. And no I'm not racist. Of all the United Clubs I've been to, this one was really skimpy on their offerings. They served clam chowder of course being in the Boston area but the pot was empty. no drinks were available in the fridges like bottled water. most of the items took a while before they were replenished. I was literally in there and started taking the cookies because I had no other choice with no other foods were available. I felt like my club pass was a waste for coming in here. If you wanted drinks like a soda, you had to go to the bartender who was either doing something or not present. If my card was expiring, I would probably come here to sit and charge my phone in a quiet place, I wouldn't come here and waste another pass. read more

Among all United Club Lounges, this is as quiet, airy and as serene as it could get. This can be accessed by elevator near gate 24, terminal B. The whole lounge hovers above the floor below. I love the large floor to ceiling windows. However, although this is as good as it gets, I can't give it five stars because the gold standard of lounges to me was the Munich Lufthansa lounge which provided a wider selection of beverages, free beer and food on a buffet-style table. read more
