I had a terrible experience with Mimi. I'm glad she doesn't treat every patient the way treated me. I work in a hospital setting and have seen maby providers talk to patients for the past 15 years... even those with sub-par bedside manner are leaps and bounds better than her. She was dismissive, ridiculed me, made disgusted faces towards me, gladly took my payment and still hasn't called in my prescriptions. I will never return. The people who say she is professional and helpful must have gotten the Dr. Jekyll's to the Mr. Hyde that showed up to my appointment. If you need a provider who can help you through the process of identifying potential problems, treat you with empathy, I'd suggest going somewhere else. read more

I have been seen at the North and South Arlington locations by two different doctors. Both times I have had billing issues with them. They tell me my insurance is accepted and visit was covered and then I get a bill in the mail from them. They also have suggested procedures and medications that were not needed. I believe they do not care about the patients but are just looking to get money. read more

This is NOT a review of Dr Hoang who is a great Derm but instead of the entire practice, United Derm. I used to see Dr Hoang 10 years ago before this practice grew into what it is now which is a cash cow conglomerate that operates more like medical care you would get in a socialist country. Can't get in touch with a live person when you call...they have outsourced to a terrible AI app that takes days to make a simple appointment. Appointments are available WAY out...a month or more for simple things. You will rarely ever see Dr Hoang herself...only her PAs are available. You would have a better chance of having a sighting of the royal family. When you actually do have an actual appointment, you will wait in a crowded waiting room and your appointment will occur about 45-60 mins after you scheduled. But don't you dare change your appointment or show up late bc you will be charged a $50 fee. 3 days ago, I called to make an appointment for my daughter. No live person was available. I was directed to a link they sent me via text that took me to their very inept and incapable AI app that does nothing but allows you to text the office. You get a response 1-2 days later. Via this process I find out I have a balance of $125 from a year ago, the last time we went. I was never called about this balance...they simply communicated this to me via this app that I never check (why would I?). This charge of $125 would be a simple fix w my insurance but no one ever called me. So now their app won't let me schedule an appointment for my daughter because they send the outstanding bill to collections! Since the day of treatment was over a year ago, it's likely insurance won't cover it. Well guess who else won't? Me. They should have called me instead of relying on their inept, inadequate texting AI SYSTEM. Do I think the providers here are good at what they do? Yes. However, their system has grown too large, too quickly and what you are left with is an experience that would mimic very much what you would expect to get in Canada. No thanks. Unfortunately, it is impossible to talk to a person at this office. You must leave a voice mail as nobody ever answers or the system forces you to text. I texted and it took 2 days for them to respond to the text message. I had to speak with them before my appointment, but it was impossible due to the inability to have any human interaction. I love automated systems, however, of they are going to take days to respond to a question and we can't talk to them in a timely manner, there is no other option but to find a place with better communication. read more

Preface: this was the Arlington location, NOT Mansfield, however; I will not recommend it... period. As a licensed healthcare provider, having worked in both a clinic and hospital setting for 10+ years, I understand that emergencies come up, a patient received bad news and is emotionally distraught, etc. A provider and their staff's time is valuable, but so is the patient's. If you are running behind for reason X, Y, and/or Z, please just be honest and communicate that with your patients. I drove almost an hour for my appointment today, checked in 10-15 minutes early, and it took an hour before I was even pulled back to an exam room. When a staff member came in to recap my last visit, I was surprised we were discussing antibiotics as I stopped taking them because the doctor did not want me on them. I did a lot of things at this provider's request. After waiting another 30 minutes, and still no Dermatologist, I opted to collect my things and notified the front desk that I had been waiting for an hour and a half, I had to go, and I was not interested in re-scheduling. I am now having to drive an hour (in rush hour traffic) home. I am disappointed as this place came highly recommended by my PCP. I do not like it, but it is okay... I can stand it anyway. I do not wish this business ill, but it would seem that we were not a good fit for one another, and I will be taking my healthcare needs elsewhere. read more

I've been going to United Dermatology Associates in Arlington for about 1 year now and I've been very satisfied with the service and treatments that I've received from Dr Mimi Pham. On a recent visit she determined that I had basal carcinoma on the right side of my face and recommended Mohl surgery. Dr Arshanapalli in their Mansfield location is the expert for this type of surgery. I just saw him and had this procedure done and was very impressed. It went much smoother than I envisioned and I'm really glad that I had it done now. I highly recommend United Dermatology, Dr Pham and Dr Arshanapalli. read more

Absolutely awful, will never ever go back. I finally got the courage enough to write this review. I've probably only wrote one star review before, but this needs to be said. There was such a long waiting list for the dermatologist I used in this practice (really liked her), so I decided to use her PA... I am 22 years old and this PA began to get a sheet of paper with a face on it and stared at my face and marked exactly where I "needed" BOTOX! I was here for a check-up on MY ACNE MEDICINE! As soon as I got in the car, I looked at my face in the mirror and began to cry. If you want someone that picks out your imperfections, this is the place for you! I waited about an hour and thirty minutes for this woman to tell me that. Absolutely rude. I will never recommend this place to anyone. read more

The time before they looked at my skin a referred me to someone else and took my money. They're not there to try and help their patients. They just want your money. Never going there again. This review is mostly about the front desk. My PA Kyla is really nice and very knowledgeable! I am frustrated with the front desk over multiple incidents. I had called to change the medication I was taking because of the side effects it had but it took them forever to get back to me. Not only that but I called the office multiple times and left messages. Then I finally received a voicemail from the office wanting to talk to me about the situation, and I called back and someone told me that they had no idea what I was talking about. After my most recent visit, I asked them to change the pharmacy my prescription was being sent too. It was never changed, so I waited about a week just waiting for my acne medication. read more

I am giving them 5 stars because of everything. The front area staff has been nothing but kind and helpful and the medical staff that I have dealt with have been kind patient and knowledgeable. I have been in for my yearly full body scan for any mole issues and also ended up getting Botox. That was not my intention going in my last visit but I have been thinking about it for years. Upon my last visit I had added a consultation (which is free I believe) regarding what I could do to look/feel younger. I had just finished about 6 months of chemotherapy and radiation when Covid started. When my hair grew back it was mostly gray. Due to Covid I have not been able to see my hairstylist who is in California since 2019. Needless to say I was feeling just ick and old. While I was talking to Mimi. I decided to go ahead and try Botox. I am sure glad I did. She did an amazing job. I am soon going to plan to get fillers as well. Boy do I feel better. Mimi is kind and gentle and does a fantastic job which gives me the confidence I need to move forward. I really love these guys . I hope if you decide you need a new dermatologist and are considering getting anything along the lines of Botox done, you check out United Dermatology Associates of Arlington. I used to love UDA. Service is always great. Long story short, i am a cash paying customer. I get an annual check up for skin cancer and have a few moles frozen each time. This year my PA was out and i got a substitute. Service was still superior. My past three vists were each about $130. This year at check out, the bill was $455. Patient experience was the same. I called to talk to the office manager. She told me that they have gone up on their ofc visit price, and the sub DR charged me for multiple procedures. To make it worse, i get another bill from them this weekend for $39. I have cancelled my next appt. Make sure if you pay cash, you get up front pricing.... read more

She has a caring, approachable demeanor and takes the time to thoroughly answer questions. I feel really good about all the recommendations she has made in regards to caring for my acne-prone skin. She was thoroughly professional with a caring bedside manner, and she removed what could have been a scary bump swiftly and completely. The PA is Kyla is great. It stops there. I have been trying to get a prescription re-filled for a week. I finally get a call back and was asked what I wanted. I only have one script with them. It's not that freakin difficult!! They I go to pick it up and it's the wrong freakin dosage. I started going to Mansfield Dermatology several years ago to take care of some bad acne. I saw Lisa Moody several times and loved her. She was always very nice and the in-office procedures she did worked well along with the prescriptions she gave me. My skin looked amazing and I did not have to go back for a couple years. I recently went back to take care of some acne that came back from getting off birth control, but when I called to schedule my appointment, the person that I spoke with booked me with Alison Wibanks. I incorrectly assumed that since they did that Dr. Moody was no longer at the practice. When I showed up for my appointment that was supposed to be for a dry ice treatment which Dr. Moody had performed on me before, I was told they no longer did that treatment. Dr. Wilbanks did not offer to perform any alternate treatment but instead only prescribed medications and told me to come back in two to three months. I did come back and she did and said the same thing. When I asked to have a steroid shot to get rid of a pimple I had for months (which is something that Dr. Moody also had done several times), Dr. Wilbanks said that she had never done one in that particular area around the lip line before so she wanted to try to extract the pimple instead. She tried and it didn't work; not only did it not work but left me with a scab that then left a permanent scar on my lip. When I called the office and mentioned all of these things as reason for being very unhappy with my visits that I had to pay out of pocket for with zero results, I was told I could make another appointment with a different doctor but would still pay the same office visit fee. I am out quite a bit of money and left with dark acne spots and a scar. read more

My OB recommended Dr. Jeannine Hoang to assist with a few questions that I had concerning my skin. Initially, I had too wait two months for an appointment, and I was okay with that. But there were a few issues that concerned me during my visit. The first issue being my wait time, I spent an hour in a hot room waiting for Dr. Hoang. In the end she could not assist me with my questions and concerns. She also could not recommend any specific products that I would be able to purchase on my own to help alleviate the concerns that I had in regards to my skin. She was however, very professional and courteous. She just could not address my needs. I also feel as if she was eager to win me over as a client, even after I told her that I've been seeing my OB for OVER 10 years. And she was very persistent about having me allow her to write my future prescriptions. If it weren't for the polite front desk staff, then I would have given this office 1 star. Two seemed appropriate. I have already called by OB to let her know that I am extremely disappointed in her recommendation. And I will never visit this office again, nor will I refer friends and family. $80 down the drain. read more

I left numerous messages over several days, both on a recording and speaking directly to the person who answered the call, asking for a followup phone call. I was assured someone would get back to me. NEVER HAPPENED! Then when I finally did get to speak with someone (over a week later) they had not been informed about the numerous messages and the need for help before leaving town.
