For me the first impression I get, even before I "yelp" or "google" is the phone etiquette I receive when I call the office. When I called Accent on you, Mellissa was so sweet! Her voice is so inviting and she has a warm phone presence. She was so sweet and tried to accommodate all my answers and invited me in for consultation. The office is beautiful. Very comfortable seating arrangements, pretty decor. I really like it. Subtle music and I got greeted IMMEDIATELY when I walked in. Parking is SUPER easy, you'll always have one outside the office. So I came to consult about a breast augmentation and the nurse who assessed me was soooooo helpful! She was nice and easy going and gave me great opinions, and guided me well through the office visit. Soon after I met with a nurse I met with Dr. N and he was really nice as well. He gave me straight answers, answered allllll my questions. He explained everything well. Asked me if I had any other questions etc. When you get to the FINANCIALS, these ladies don't do the run Around, ask them ANYTHING they will answer straight forward and honestly. They tell you options and everything. They don't push you, they are there to provide information. On the day of my surgery I was NERVOUS but the nurse I had that brought me to the room to put IV in me calmed me down. She was so knowledgeable and she reallly knew what she was doing. She was funny and really set the tone for me as I entered the operation room. The anesthesia doctor came and he was so SWEET! He said he prayed for me even if I didn't ask for it lol. He asked me questions and gave me a chance to ask my own questions. Then surgery came and it went, I woke up and feeling like exactly how they TOLD me I was gonna feeel. I wasn't uncomfortable, just felt like I had a crazy chest day ahah. They set you up for success after your surgery and recovery. I'm so happy with the service and so far, the recovery. I traveled from to Ohio to Texas for my sugary and would do it 100x again even though being away from home sucked JUST to have the results that I already do at 2.5 weeks post op. She's also personable, honest, will talk you out of what you don't need, and will work with your wishes and budget. She takes excellent records and you can pick up from a conversation from 6 months prior. The office also genuinely cares. That being said, they're often running behind so I try to plan accordingly.

I felt I had to leave an honest review after reading all the one-star reviews…read more The front desk staff, MAs, phlebotomist, and all other staff members I've encountered have been nothing but helpful and patient. I used to work in a physician's office, and I have seen how demanding and ridiculous patients can be. Doctors cannot break the rules of medicine or go outside of the insurance restrictions to refill prescriptions, just give a patient what they want, or see patients who are behind in their payments. Dr. Truong (and every single one of her staff) has been kind to me. They are all races and backgrounds and ages, so the discrimination accusation below is unwarranted. I am white. Dr. Truong is Vietnamese. Some of the staff are Hispanic or African American. I have gone to Dr. Truong for only two years, but two African American friends of mine been going to her for years and never had any complaints. It is slanderous to make that accusation. How a patient speaks to staff can get them dismissed from a medical office, and I applaud any physician who stands behind their staff. Since the pandemic, people have become more demanding and just plain awful. Try working a front desk in a medical office for one day and you will be buying flowers for these ladies to compliment them on their skill and patience. Grow up, be kind, and be a patient person.

However, after the COVID-19 pandemic, I noticed a significant change in my experience. I increasingly felt like I was just another number rather than a person receiving individualized care. Over time, I found many of our interactions to be lacking warmth and compassion. At times, her communication came across as borderline rude, and I perceived an attitude that felt dismissive and superior rather than caring and respectful. I tolerated these experiences for quite some time because I valued the continuity of my medical care. Unfortunately, I have reached a point where I can no longer ignore how these interactions make me feel. A strong patient-provider relationship should include professionalism, empathy, and human connection. In my experience, those qualities have been missing. In addition, I felt that I was charged for various services in a way that was not always clear or expected. For example, if I scheduled an annual physical, I sometimes had to dispute the visit in order to receive the required preventive care, and then make another appointment to address additional concerns. I was also charged for services I understood to be covered by my insurance. As a result, I either paid for vaccines or received them elsewhere. I am deeply disappointed because I believe every patient deserves to be treated with dignity, kindness, and respect. While I appreciate the medical care I have received over the years, the lack of compassion and meaningful human connection has led me to question whether this practice is still the right fit for me.
