    It's a busy healthcare place. Knowing you are going to a busy place and working in healthcare, I can kinda endure the wait. I have patience for hard working healthcare workers. Sometimes things are out of their control. Such as the imaging center deciding that they won't make appointments for routine X-rays. This is usually a big misconception of imaging directors as they believe that routine X-rays are so basic and routine that they can easily be done and therefore no appointment is necessary. Usually, this process is at the expense of the patient as their staff will prioritize patients with appointments, creating unnecessary wait times for these so called "easy to do routine X-ray exams". What is definitely in their staff's control is their attitude and behavior. And the lady that greets you early on and sits at window 4 is just rude and seems unhappy to be here. At a time when so many people wish they had a job. She is so unhappy to have this one. She's loud, and curt. Rather than saying, "Good morning", she blurts out loudly to every person, "DO YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT?" In an unhappy rude tone and asks you to sign in and have a seat. Then again half the staff here seem to be overly unhappy to come to work. They are all walking in to the time clock, dragging their feet looking as miserable as can be. Sorry that the endless pandemic checks are no longer hitting direct deposit. But It can't by that bad guys. Lighten up. Or find something else to do that you actually enjoy doing. This is one of the places that doesn't make appointments for regular xrays. So you just have to come in and chance it. So if you're on a work schedule, it's hard to say. Maybe request at least 2 hours to be sure. When checking in, rude lady said it would be about 35 minutes to get exam. It actually took about 40 minutes just to be called up by a different girl at window 6 and be asked for my ID card and Insurance card and asked to have a seat. I asked if there was paperwork I could fill out, girl said I'll give it to you after. So I guess she wanted to confirm I have insurance coverage before she truly checked me in. Once she confirmed I had actual insurance coverage, she called me back up to hand me forms to fill out. The same forms that I asked if I could complete. SMH... Once I gave her the forms she said it would only be 5 minutes now for me to get my X-rays. It actually took about another 20 minutes to be called up by an X-ray tech who didn't introduce himself. Just led me a dark corridor corner and asked me to have a seat. At this point it took 5 more minutes and an hour and 10 minutes later from check in I was on my way. This is actually not bad time. Just wish they would have a better grasp of time and give you a more accurate time. And they did take a lady ahead me who had arrived about 30 minutes after me. Not the techs fault. It's just the funky check in and registration no appointment needed process in place.

    I was a walk in and was seen in 15 minutes and gone on my way in 20 minutes. Bryant the tech was quick and kind. Easy to deal with.

    Technician quit day before my appointment don't bother coming here. Second time I've had to come here just for them to cancel both times.

    I am claustrophobic so I called Radnet to find an Open MRI near me. This facility had the soonest…read moreappointment, so I opted for this Huntington Park location. Going on a Sunday morning was the best choice since the traffic was much lighter. The check in was good and easy. I needed two MRIs of the hip and the knee. The tech explained how long each MRI was going to take which was a half hour for each. When I booked the appointment through Radnet, the rep said it would be 15-20 minutes per MRI. (Please advise your reps of the correct length for each procedure.) The tech started with my hip. The camera board under me was very uncomfortable which I didn't know about. After I was done, the tech asked me if I was ready to proceed with the knee. I said "yes," but my back was hurting. He put a wedge under my other knee to help the pain, but it did not help. Then he mentioned that he could take the camera pad out from under me. This helped immensely, and then we proceeded for another half hour. I'm glad it's over with, but I would have appreciated more explanation about the camera board. Also, the booking rep should give the exact length of time for each MRI.

They have people waiting there for 3hrs before they're ever taken in. You need to go check with front desk to see what's the hold up. This is not patient care at all. This place needs good management to take over. Get a new caring team to come clean this place up. Unbelievable that management allows this type of service to be given to our Hispanic community. Shame on this locations management and employees. I would close this place down in a heart beat. I wish we could give no stars!!

    "My experience only". Doctor sent me to this location to get a Chest X-Ray performed. My doctor…read morewas very addement that I get this done as soon as possible because of the diagnosed condition I may have, regarding my lungs. It was a walkin and the front admin stated that there was no openings for walkins at this time. She recommended another wave imaging center which is on South and Palos Verdes. I made her check to make sure walk ins were available and that I can make it in 15 mins to that location. I was very addement that she double check that it was a GO, and stated that if I show up they would have a spot for me as a walkin. I clearly stated that I dont want to waste my time driving all the way up. So I ended up at the Palos Verdes South St. Lakewood location. Arrived at 345pm, made it before closing time which was 4:30pm. The results .. I was REJECTED! I was very upset with the entire situation! It all goes back to the admin at the Signal Hill location. Her name was DULCES, she supposedly double and triple checked when I asked her about walk ins. She verified and was confident I will be admitted for a walkin. Absolute dissapointed with Dulces statement. She should not be so confident and sure that someone will be admitted. To my observation, she just assumed. Negative for my entire experience. Dulce was incompetent by sending patients to other locations. Lack of knowledge, estimated by assumption. Overall, the Signal Hill location had plenty of parking and the location was clean.
