they put the wrong color on after saying they didn't have the original color ( I thought they were using a base color first) - then I went back next day for them to fix it for free and I got super rude vibes and they filed my toenail so hard down it was painful and then pretty sure didn't throw a topcoat on and they were really not nice about the fact I went in for them to fix the mess before - never again read more

I've been going to the same people who own this salon for over 18 years. They are always clean professional and super friendly. Their new location is wonderfully quiet with lots of parking and super close to the beach! And on top of that they always take special care of any requests I may have. The only question she asked was if I wanted to "tip on the card !" Hate hate hate my new full set. Not long skinny and coffin at all. On top of she cutt me when filing and kept on filing ! (Oouuuch) No happy at all. She should have asked if I like them and like the color and all that. She even left a big drop of clear polish on one and I had to tell her and now it's all clumpy in that spot. read more

Had time to kill before shuttling to the airport so we walked across the street and went in. They were able to take us right away. Nicest pedicure I've had in along time. Knowing they probably won't see us again anytime soon, they still really went all out, not to mention it was only $35. I have paid way more than that for much less. Great job ladies. read more

I was visiting my friend and she recommended me to get my nails done. I was like okay I was planning on getting my nails done anyway so I give them a chance. Well, if you looked at my pic it looks horrible! i did mention to the nail technician about gel is touching my skin. She buffer it but it did not fix the problem. I did not want to make a scene, since my friend is regular. When we try to pay one of the lady told us that card machine need to be restarted but soon as I took my cash out she informed us that isn't working. I was planning to pay with the cash anyway but my friend only had was card, they told me to pay for her and she can pay me back or something. It is not their place to tell me what I should do! I guess super irritated because then mess up my nail! P.S. they were pressuring us to tip them which is annoying. 1 star but would give 0 if I could. 3 of us went in: two fills, one gel polish change, and one toe polish change. The tech was burning my nails and cuticles with the grinder while knowing it was hot. She didn't fully remove the white polish I had on prior to going in. One of my nails is embarrassingly crooked and two others are much shorter than the rest. She told me I was good to leave and not even 10 minutes after every single one of my nails was smudged and ruined. My friend specifically asked for off-white polish and the lady told her she had exactly what she wanted. The polish was bright white, not at all what she asked for. The tech said the gel polish would turn into a more off-white color when she was finished, lies. They did not. Her nails were not filed properly. She has some nails that are like spikes on some parts and she ended up scratching her eyelid pretty badly before she even had time to realize. The polish on all of our nails didn't even cover all sides. My other friend had polish left over on her toe polish change as well. Never being there before, we grabbed a pamphlet as soon as we walked in to check prices. A fill was $15, toe polish change was $6, and a gel polish change was $20. The tech ended up charging me $28 for a fill and my friend $25 for a fill and $10 for the toe polish change. She said our nails were "not what they were used to seeing" so we had to be charged extra. We tried going back and forth with her about the prices but she got an attitude and we were over it so we just paid for the over priced, terrible nail experience we were given. Loved this place! I'm from Philly and was looking around online for a place to go for a mani-pedi but then just stumbled upon United. Basic mani-pedi included arm/ calf massage and hot towels. My nails look great and the customer service was excellent! The best part was the price...$35 for what many salons around charge double for. Save your money. I am in such disbelief at the service, final product, and price. It was almost like it was a race to get me out the door--mind you it's 1:00 on a Tuesday afternoon. The paint on my toes is not terrible, but I would hardly call it a pedicure. Another women started taking the gel off my nails while I was getting my toes done, BUT CLIPPED MY NAILS WITH MY OLD GEL ON, and she used the drill, which is 100% unnecessary! Didn't soak my nails, clip my cuticles, buff, ANYTHING. Then charges me $60! $60 for a regular pedicure and gel mani?! I was charged for having gel on from another salon... This place is just awful. This might have been my worst experience at a nail salon ever. I got a gel pedicure and a dip manicure. The lady doing the pedicure ripped the previous gel coat off my toes and took layers off my real toenails. The dip was done so bad that the lady painted it onto my skin. I started to become more bothered by the assembly line get em in and get me out feeling I was getting....then after 20+ years of getting my nails done at different places, I got a nail fungus after visiting this salon. Although I stopped in 45 minutes before closing, the ladies told me to come have a seat. The language barrier was very difficult, and the tools were NOT clean for each client. My technician did a fair job on my toes, and I appreciate the accepted me so close to closing time, but the person who took my money was quite rude. I've never paid $45 for a pedicure, unless it's at a full spa. I would recommend finding a different nail salon. read more

Very disappointed with this place. In town for my wedding, I called 3 days ahead to make an appointment for me(bride) and my 3 bridesmaids. I don't know about my other girls, but my experience was awful. They didn't even start me first. They started my bridesmaids first and I had to wait to the next technician to be available. Finally they start on my pedicure. It was boring, no massage or anything. And my toe polish chipped the next day(sadly before my honeymoon). Then they started on my nails. They were decent. But when we removed the gel polish 2 weeks later it had completely torn up my nails. And I've been getting Gel polish for 2 years now and this hasn't happened. I went for a Pedi for my birthday. The worst experience! Just when the woman was getting ready to do my massage, she was distracted by some man at the counter. She ignored me for a good 10 minutes talking to him. Meanwhile, my husband was next to me getting a foot/leg massage the whole time. When she finally got back to me, she just polished my nails & sent me on my way, no apology. I will never return! read more

This place is ok, I question if they are sanitary but if you pay 35$ for a manicure / pedicure than you get for what you pay for.
