I really appreciated my overall experience here. It's a quaint little place with a relaxed atmosphere, friendly employees, and service that goes that extra mile that makes all the difference. I was very pleased with the time and care that went into my pedicure and how that helped it to last for a long time. I appreciated being offered coffee, tea, etc., and the welcoming nature of the employees. But what stood out the most was how when my daughter's ring got left behind, they offered to drop it off at our house before she left town again. That was really above and beyond! They earned 5 stars in my book, though if I could change anything it would be to have a bigger selection of regular polish (not gel) and to spruce the place up a bit with a good cleaning, some fresh plants, and spruced up decor. read more

I went iinto this salon asking for the service provider to clean up my nails from a previous pedicure file them / trim them, and finally apply polish! While I can type this in just a few words the process she had to go through was just short of a complete pedicure minus the message and all the water!! This was my first and last visit to this Spa. Other than bad mouthing the person that recommended Maddie's., I have no issue with my nails or my pedicure. I originally contacted Maddy through her Facebook page. I asked specifically for pricing and she stated if I told her what I was looking to do, she could give me pricing, and I specifically told her what I was looking to have done. When I went to check out, it was $40 more than what I was quoted for a simple gel manicure and pedicure. Here's where it goes bad and as an owner when I see reviews where people such as Maddy respond, hatefully, and tell their customers that they're liars it gives you such a bad look. When I left the salon or spa or whatever you want to call it, I contacted Maddie through Facebook and told her that I was shocked that I was charged an additional $40 versus what she quoted me and she was very defensive stating what she quoted me wasn't what I asked for so I Resent her the messages and then she got even nastier telling me if I couldn't afford it or I needed something cheaper. Come on Maddie that was a complete insult. You don't make people feel like they're less than or that they can't afford something because you miss quoted them a price and that's all it was about. And then you tell me I'm nothing but an unhappy person when we really didn't interact. So let me be clear to you I can afford whatever I want that wasn't the point and you know it if you say that I'm an unhappy person because I was looking for a new nail salon. That is the furthest thing from the truth. I love the people that I was going to. I was just concerned about the cleanliness of the tools they were using. I still haven't seen the money you stated you would refund me. Oh, and by the way, if you have any type of issue with Maddie, she'll just start calling you names and then block you and tell you, you are unwelcome back to her business, now I see why there was literally only one other person at your business, the whole three hours I was there. read more

I wanted to give this place a try because I saw all the great reviews. Unfortunately, because of the cold welcome I got when I entered the salon, I was never able to receive services. I walked in to make an appointment. The girl at the front desk had a way of smiling to your face while making you feel very judged. There was another girl sitting there that worked for Maddy Spa that wouldn't even look up to acknowledge I was in the room. I tried to make small talk with her to find out more about her style and nothing. No interaction. I definitely didn't want her servicing me if she couldn't even acknowledge me as a human. Another girl came through to the front desk and totally ignored the fact that I was standing there. I don't need a big todo, just be polite! It was just weird. Like I was in high school and I didn't fit into their cool girls club. If you already get services here and you like them, cool. Eureka!!!!! I found my "regular" pedicure and manicure spot. The owner, Maddy, and the workers there are attentive, personable, accommodating, and friendly. A major shoutout "Maddy is a super awesome manicurist!!!!" :-) They use quality (not watered down) products. I love that my shellac and regular polish last for more than 3 weeks...I generally get these services every 2 weeks but due to work and "life", I couldn't pamper myself for 3 weeks but he quality products lasted. Although I am bald by choice, they offer hair services and have quality products (shampoos and conditioners). They also are supports nonprofit organizations who accepts hair donations; someone close to me donated her hair to children with hair loss. They know how to collect the hair donation and submit it. The old fashion customer service is there... I received a handwritten thank you note in the mail after my first visit. Then I was surprised to receive a second thank you note in the mail with a $5 off coupon for my next visit. I will continue come here. They found a loyal customer. read more

I've been a regular at Maddy's Spa now for over a year after moving into the area. I was there today for a hair appointment and pedicure appointment. Jimmy did my hair for the first time and I love it. My color was off because there was too much blonde in it from the sun. Jimmy took the time to listen to me about what I wanted changed. Both were wonderful: I had a pedicure, sadly, do not remember the name of the woman who gave it to me but she was adorable and the pedicure was great. And then I had a massage with Lindsey. It was perhaps the most thorough massage I've ever had; Lindsay was wonderful and took a lot of care to ask how the massage was going, what type of pressure I preferred, etc. in addition the space is lovely and the administrative personnel are very friendly and considerate. I've been trying for almost 3 years since I moved to Florida to find a great hairdresser who could help me find the best cut for my hair and the best color that would flatter me. And I found her at Maddy Spa. Ashley is awesome. She spent time with me looking at coloring choices and asked me tons of questions on what I liked in terms of a cut. This was the first time in years that I walked out of a salon feeling gorgeous! I don't leave bad reviews often but this place deserves one. I have had facials for 15 years and I have never had someone touch my hair. Half way through the facial she takes off the hairband and start massaging oil into my roots. I had no idea what she was doing because I had my eyes covered. When I looked in the mirror after the facial was finished I wanted to cry. My roots were stuck to my scalp and I had just come from getting my hair done at another salon. Lots of money wasted. When I went to check out they asked me if I liked my facial and I said no. Their solution was for me to pay to have them wash and blow out my curly hair. I am so lucky that I had a gift card for this place and that I didn't waste my own money.I wish I could have walked out without paying. I did cry once I got in the car and saw my hair in the sunlight. What was supposed to be a lovely and relaxing experience ruined my day and wasted hours of my time both at that salon and now I have to redo my hair that I paid to get done today. read more
