$5.499/gallon regular 9/19/24 This place is right next to Cal State Long Beach so it's super convenient. I've also gotten drive-thru car washes here on occasion. It's usually a quick stop to fill up unless someone blocks the pumps while they're shopping inside. I've had to back out to escape but not a huge deal. I don't have high expectations since it's only a gas station. read more

I don't usually write reviews for gas stations but the encounter I had with the staff there was the best. His name is Armando! I was watching him talk to other customers with a smile on his face and genuinely wishing people to have a happy and beautiful day. He wished the same for me as he scrubbed my car. Honestly it's just the little things that can make someone's day. I hope whoever owns this chevron sees this. The staff is very friendly here and the car wash is excellent quality for a reasonable price.

Debit cards get stuck in machines. Prices are exceptionally high. Don't bother coming here this place aims to get the most and provide the least. I've worked nearby for more than a decade and this place has never seemed to be able to get it together. Especially avoid if you're in a hurry. read more

I worked at the Chevron Bubble Machine in the 80's back when minimum wage was $3.35. Hasn't changed too much. Got a tank of gas which was fine. And a carwash. Came here for the carwash because my usual places were under maintenance. COVID19: Short wash. They use a huge brush to scrub down the car (potentially abrasive). Got the car fairly clean. And the dryer is really no better than most automatic car washes. Don't expect it to get your car totally clean. Good thing the 22 freeway is close by. Just get it up to 65 and you'll have most of it dried off. Going back to the scrub brush. Kind of like using an SOS pad on a plate. It'll clean it...but, may leave some marks. If you have a nice car or about your paint job BEWARE. read more

I could not give it a 1 like the reviewers before me because I did not have any customer service issues, but I could not give it a 3 either because of a few things --No bratwurst? why not? --Where was the air/water? --the carwash/exit was at an odd angle but, then again, it is a small store. I liked the fact that is is so conveniently close to CSULB and a ralphs store. I hope their gasoline which I put in my car was good. read more

The gas was far too expensive at $4.89 a gallon, but the car wash was a bargain. I chose the $7 wash & it was fast & left the car sparkling. Definitely my go-to next time I need a car wash. read more

Very disappointed, the gentleman behind the counter at 7th and Channel Long Beach wanted to charge me $15 dollars for the drive thru car wash. He failed to tell me the price was $7-10, you don't know it till you're in line to go thru but by then you just hand the young kid your receipt. I've never reviewed a gas station before,but oh well. I use this gas station primarily for my bike. I was once told that Chevron fuel meets some weird high standard of refined fuel(they saw me coming huh). I don't know, but I only put it in my bike and it happens to be close to home. About the unfriendliness of the people that work here,I've never experienced any of that. The place is pretty clean for a service station. The grounds are well kept also. I do run my car through the bubble machine car wash that they have there. A quickie of the ol' in-out. Fast and to the point. The prices are a little higher then most gas stations,but again,only for the bike. read more

Normally I don't give two hoots about which gas station I fill up at, as long as it's cheap. I feel obligated to give a review to this place because the employees here are so nice. Long story short, a bird took a giant (and I mean GIANT) crap down the side of my car door when I was at work. I was tired, grumpy and already in a foul mood. I fueled up and then went inside to grab a red bull, came outside and one of the employees was just finishing up washing all the crap off the side of my car. He must have noticed it from inside the store and come out secretly as I was grabbing the red bull. Either way I was floored. These guys will always have my business for as long as I'm in Long Beach. read more

A quality run gas station by a quality first family. They aren't the cheapest gas price around but the rent on that corner has to be significant. The owner does stuff right here. He doesn't cut corners. Nice size convenience store. Also has a very busy car wash. I'm guessing some of the low ratings on this site are due to customers being upset with carwashes. In my experience there's always going to be somebody upset with the car wash. I had my Honda accord washed here last year and had a fine experience. read more

The way how the gas station is set up is cool. Only one way in and one way out. Never had any problems with customer service or any pumps breaking down. The car wash isnt that great though. I have been there twice just to get a quick clean. The price is fine but the actual wash job isnt. It never really dries and leaves water marks. The last time i went, there ended up being harsh white marks on the top sides of my car and dried soap marks . The windows looked foggy But the hood looked really clean and shiny. Ill keep coming for gas but never to get my car cleaned again. read more

I was just at this location at around 8:47 p.m. & there was an elder white male who was working the cash register and refused to take the $20 I was giving him, so I can pump gas which I did not understand why, this made me very upset bc I have to be somewhere right now and this just made things be delayed I would really appreciate if this issue would be resolved so that this does not happen again. read more

This place is right off the freeway! So it's busy and the gas is always a little bit more than if you drive more inland. But it's right before the the freeway. All gas stations seems to be like that. The only thing that I don't like about this gas station is that it's only one way in and one way out. It's annoying. So if the car in front of you is taking their sweet ass time and your done pumping gas you gotta wait. Plus it also right by a target! You know how crazy it gets and sometimes it's just too dang annoying to get in and out. There's always that one dumb driver around either driving recklessly or just plane dumb. Stopped by to gas up after a long ride down to Long Beach. Decided to use the car wash to clear off all the bugs. The gentleman that was running the wash was very nice. I asked if he could make sure he got the bugs which he did. I tipped him, and before he sent me through. Be nice! They work hard. Only thing I didn't like was the wash itself. The prices were higher than others I had seen that morning. I only purchase gas here because they have a car wash and I needed one so bad. I should have just taken my car to the professionals. I cant believe their machines actually scratch my hood. Now I'm driving around with two 2ft long 1in width scratches.
