To the owner of this gas station: Why are you so cheap? For a year plus you've had containers for windshield squeegees and soap, but they're always empty. I'm often around the circle to grab lunch so I also used to predominantly fill up at your site. Not so much anymore. Why? Well, when I ask the attendants if they have any squeegees answer is, "no." When I ask why, the attendants tell me, "the homeless people take them." Now I rarely ever see homeless people on this side of town, but regardless, these things are like $6 on amazon in bulk. Treat them as a consumable and stop being so criminally cheap. You probably net well over six figures of income a year from this site alone as an absent owner. Notice the DO NOT ENTER sign in red lettering on white background? Neither do most people who enter in from Los Coyotes Diagonal. So, this gas station was designed to have the flow of vehicle traffic run east to west, yet people will ignore the signs. This is my peeve. PAY AT THE PUMP. I like how I can pay and use my Vons club card at the pump. PRICES. Usually the lowest locally. Other than Costco, I'll come here just for the gas prices. Pay with either a debit card or cash and you will get the discounted cash rate. Regular Vons shopper? You'll probably save an additional 10 cents by plugging in your Vons card number. EXTENDED HOSE. So, back to my peeve of wrong way drivers even though the signs clearly say "DO NOT ENTER"... Vons pumps have those extended hoses that can reel a little farther, so if you go to any gas pump, the fuel hose can extend to the side of the car that has the fuel door. It does not matter whether the fuel door is on the left or right side of your vehicle. TIP: just like any gas station, when you pay at the pump, be sure to inspect the credit card reader to make sure it has not been tampered with. One of my friends claims her credit card number was skimmed at this location, and I think my AmEx may have been also, years ago. Its always good practice to inspect and make sure the seals are not broken on the reader and that the card reading mechanism is not loose. read more

It's not open 24/7, but after 10pm there's no cashier on duty so it's by card only. For great cheap gas prices, you need to come to Von's @ the Traffic Circle! 3 cents off per gallon with your Von's card! This place can be difficult to get in and out of since it can get fairly crowded. And it's not easily accessible since you have to go through the shopping center parking lot to get to it. My first memory of the price of gasoline was in 1977 after my mom bought a new Chevy van. For $10 she'd get a half tank of gas, that was 17 gallons. For those of you trying to do the math right now, that was 58.9 cents per gallon! Now THAT was cheap gas! Unfortunately those days are long gone, just like the Ford Pinto, Chevy Vega, bell bottom jeans, afros, hot pants, earth shoes, 8-track tapes and disco. So... So when my friend told me that there was a Vons gas station located by the "world famous" traffic circle and that i can save 3 cents off the regular gas price, i was totally in!!! The gas station is located in a shopping center (Friscos is next door). I was amazed that it was pretty big. Lot of gas pumps (3 per row) and no waiting (score). According to GasBuddy, this is the 2nd cheapest place tied with ARCO in my area. The cheapest is the Vons in Lakewood (4 miles away) so that's pretty good knowing that you're getting a very good deal out of this particular location. One thing that can be changed is the "one way entry" sign. I always follow that rule, but most people don't. That and we could probably avoid all of the honking and rage. The prices marked at the pump is the cost using credit card. They'll dock off 10 cents per gallon if you use debit card or cash so remember to use those! read more

The good: Low prices, lots of pumps, good little convenience store inside, pay at the pump is easy to use. The not so good: They dont offer the "earn extra cents off" for spending $ at Vons anymore. They dont enforce the "entrance only" and exit only signs that are clearly posted and its kind of annoying when people are going every which way. The pay at the pump process is slow sometimes. For 4+ years, I've been a 'go to Costco for gas' person. However, that option hasn't been available since moving to Long Beach (at least, conveniently). I only live a few blocks, and it's nice to have a similar experience with solid prices. The only downside is that the consistency of wipes + 'clean' water/wiper cleaner is lacking. Costco doesn't offer this perk, so it's nice to have it available when it's, well, available. It can get pretty busy during peak times, and that's when the One-way Enter should be enforced. If you can, avoid peak times such as schools just getting out (around 3pm), just got off work (around 6pm), and gearing up for the weekend (Friday evenings). read more

Yesterday, 8:22 I attempted to get gas and the pump tried to capture $135 to start, my card co sent me a fraud alert text immediately, I called and said it was me and I was getting about $30 worth of gas, they said that capture was excessive and unusual so they cancelled my card and have to issue a new one, 6 MOs ago after purchasing gas there, my card # was used to make purchases at 2 retailers, I reported this, card was cancelled and reissued then as well. In all the years I have had that card I have never had a fraud issue with it, now twice n 6 MOs from this gas station. Prices are cheap but I will only be using cash there from now on read more

Their open 24/7 at the pump, but the store is from about 7am-10pm or so. Typical donuts, coffee, juices, gum, lotto, etc. Being sold inside the store. I bought coffee just once here for about $1 or so. I noticed they do offer a buy so many coffees get one free or something like that. I get it, gas prices are high. We all want to find the best price. On a good day, you could save an extra dime a gallon here, give or take the Vons Club discount (3¢ a gallon). But that's what, a buck/buck-fifty on your average sized gas tank? Not bad, but in the grand scheme of your budget, probably not a big deal. So, how valuable is your time? Cuz that savings comes with a bit of a wait. On a bad day, filling up here is kind of a hassle. The one-way entry and funky shopping plaza layout can make you drive laps around the place while you compete with other customers for a fill up. So if it's on my route, and the wait is short, then this is a great spot to fill up. Otherwise, the savings aren't super, and the aggravation isn't worth it. read more

Yes, the discounts if you shop at Vons are awesome. However, this is the worst location on the face of the Earth! This gas station has a wait 24/7. Cars drive around in circles and there is no established order in saving a spot. Also, this gas station clearly has signs that read 'ENTER ONLY' and 'DO NOT ENTER EXIT ONLY' You are only supposed to enter from the front, line up behind a car and wait your turn. But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooo. Everyone who uses this gas station is a TOOL and enters from the exit to f up the entire system. I have seen people make a U Turn at 35mph just to snag a spot that has opened, while everyone else is waiting in line. Follow the rules and this place would actually be an efficient gas station and not the gridlock that it is. read more

This is by far my most favorite gas station EVER. The service is great. They always have nice cold energy drinks. They have coffee and regular chips and candy (not that I ever get these). The gas is also cheap and there are plenty of stations. The only downside is that if you come here during commute hours then you might have to wait a bit to get to a pump.
