This is, by far, the Best Doctors office in all of Antelope Valley. The staff is thorough and helpful. Dr owashi was amazing and patient. I give him 5 stars. However, i would never refer my friends or family to this office due to the employee that helped (or didn't) me with my disability and employment paper work, Rosalinda Leon. She has terrible customer service. As soon as you call she just doesn't greet you she immediately asks, "what's the patients dob" when you begin to speak other than providing the info she asked for she cuts you off. She didnt fill out my father's disability paperwork for two months. Everytime she asked she said she did send it, causing payment to be delayed by 3mos. My dad went most of his recovery time w/o pay due to her negligence and lack of empathy. We didnt find out until EDD informed us. It is now 4mo later and we need return to work paperwork. I just called and she hung up on me. Im super unhappy and feel mistreated. read more

From the time I walked in, girls giggling, not helpful. Supervisor Yesenia was disrespectful and sarcastic. Very rude and her customer service skills were clearly not up to working with medical patients. Was I harsh? Yes. Was I in pain, confused cuz they made a mistake? Yes. The sign in process was easy, no waiting in line. My appointment was for 10:10am and around 10:30am an employee came out to the lobby to advise patients waiting for the doctor I was there to see, that there would be a delay in seeing the doctor and you had an option to reschedule. This was very considerate and appreciated. Staff were kind and I was able to see the doctor within 30 minutes of the announcement. The doctor I saw was not my regular doctor but I was able to walk away pleased with the results. I have been coming to this facility for the past year and have never been disappointed. Absolute Horrible Experience! In fact you couldn't pay me to return to this office! The Front Office Staff do not want to help any patient. If a patient approaches the Front Desk the Staff immediately puts their heads down as if they don't see the patient standing there. Minimal wait time to see the Doctor. Dr. Justin Sherfey clearly described my condition and the therapeutic path to recovery.

I was told I needed total knee replacement for a torn meniscus. I was injected with all types of medications that did nothing and found out later were completely unnecessary. meanwhile my insurance company was being billed quite heavily. After a second opinion with a second orthopedist at a different location I was told all I needed was a simple outpatient surgery to repair the torn meniscus. Always get a second, even third opinion! read more

So I came back to AVORS a week ago. Once again it was easy to make an appointment, however, on my appointment day, Dr. Sherfey had an emergency surgery. The staff got a hold of me right away and made a new schedule in a weeks time. On my new appointment day, having arrived 12 minutes prior, I was called in right away and I was taken in a room. There I waited a about 15-20 before Dr. Sherfey came in to see me- I was then examined and everything went smoothly with my visit. Dr. Sherfey was caring and concerned like the last time I saw him. Unfortunately my whole family has used AVORS Medical Group. Three out of four family member are under the care of Dr. Eric Owashi. Dr. Owashi replaced my husband knees, I receive shots for a torn meniscus and my kid has an injured knee from an incident. My other child was hit by a car and needed surgery and Dr. Alon Antebi, D.O was excellent in care. The office can be get busy so I recommend coming early to check in. read more

The wait time is insane. Waited 1 and a half hours and saw no one. Had to go to work. Seems like they over book and just make everyone wait. Overcrowding in the waiting room. Since I didn't see anyone I can't comment on the service itself. But after my visit read reviews that talked about waiting 2 and a half hours. No joke wish I saw that earlier, feels like a meat market in there, can only conclude that their procedures are done volume, probably not the most attention to detail . Did not have a good feel to the place. Instantly wanted to go back to Kaiser when I got there. That's saying a lot. read more

I was upset with service after I commuted and skipped some of my work and school time and I got to the business only to find out the DME tech left and didn't even give me a call. Had knee replacement Dr Antebi @ antelope Valley Hospital, and was so impressed with his operating skills and the nurses at Antelope Valley Hospital. AVORS has great quality of care, reputation, and as a nurse practitioner, I miss agree. They are on time, and experts that handling their surgeries. When I left the hospital, I didn't even need a walker... All prescriptions and instructions were either given to me, or phoned in to my pharmacy, and most importantly, my postop recovery was difficult, and I had no trouble reaching Dr Antebi. It has now been five weeks and I am going to outpatient physical therapy to tune up my walking abilities, and I am doing very well @ Dynamic physical therapy and they too. are wonderful. I I give all of them a five star rating, , Dr Antebi a five star rating, Antelope Valley Hospital a five star rating, AV0RS a five star rating and Dynamic Rehab a five star rating. Waiting on hold for 15 minutes to talk to a nurse was the only drawback but once I got connected my Physician called me back and explained my bloodwork and really showed how much he cared.
