There is only one therapist there that knows what she is doing. I went in for 14 weeks and things were slowing feeling better, but then I was told to preform a new stretch, which caused a new pain that was so painful, I can't walk. I tried to tell the doctor there and he didn't seem to take me seriously. He misdiagnosed the issue, my pain worsened, and then my visits expired. I left there in more pain than when I started. I went to see my pain doctor and told them the issue and they agreed the physical therapist didn't do the right thing. I requested to visit a new physical therapist to correct the issue Youngs created. THE STRETCH THEY HAD ME DO CAUSED SO MUCH PAIN IMMEDIATELY, I'VE NEVER FELT ANYTHING LIKE IT. I CAN'T WALK. I DID THE STRETCH, THEN GOT UP TO WALK AND STARTED CRYING. read more

These people didn't help me at all!!! Went to them for neck, back, and hips . They didn't want to build my insurance. After I got an approval from my insurance company that they would pay for the treatment decompression. They wanted me to pay for it. After that, the physical therapy that I was supposed to do, they showed me one time when I was supposed to do gave me one rub down, one bout of heat, and that was it each time I came in after that. I was told to do some exercises and that was it. Now a year and a half later I'm receiving a bill for $15 that I've already paid for my co-pay. Because they had a Worker in the billing department, they didn't do her job! I am very displaced with them. Don't go here. You will not be happy. read more

The staff is very friendly first of all. My mom really felt a difference on her very first visit I recommend them 100 percent.

When we took our special needs child to his office for Physical therapy after getting his Orthopedics specialist's referral from CHLA, he almost refused to take him. He was telling us everything was perfect with our son and made us feel like we were trying to fix our broken child. I dislike when people underestimate special needs children, they can do as much as we can do and I wish everyone gives them an equal chance. Four weeks after my son started his PT at Dr. Young's office because we missed one appointment and we were late to another appointment my son was kind of kicked out. A couple of times they called us to adjust our set schedules, for example if our son's appointment was at 5 pm, they called us at 2 pm asking if we can be there at 4pm or 5:30pm. Of course, we paid the session we missed too. But our child never had the same schedule every week. It is not easy to follow through that every week our child had different appointment hrs. read more

Quite possibly the BEST physical therapy office I have ever visited. The therapists are very thorough, and you don't feel like you are being pushed through a "mill". You receive personal attention from the moment you check-in. It's the only office I've ever visited where the therapist actually gives you a thorough hands-on session before handing you off to the technician to finish your daily exercises. I was suffering with a severe case of sciatica (left leg piriformis syndrome) aggravated by sitting; including whole leg numbness, tingling and burning nerve pain. Within one month of following the prescribed, demonstrated and proven deep tissue message, targeted stretch and strength training treatment techniques, I am no longer in pain. I also followed the directions to "mix it up" by not remaining stationary at my work desk by standing, leaning, sitting and periodically adjusting my body position every 20 minutes. Young physical therapy it's the best in the Antelope valley!! Dr. Young knows human anatomy . I have been to many physical therapist b/c a lot of injuries in my body due to surgeries and torn rotator cuff. I can tell you that if you want to get your money's worth go to Young , he makes you work hard in the right way at the right time , he is very attentive to your progress and it's on top of his staff . I have been to other physical therapists that when the boss isn't looking every one it's on a break!!! Not at Young's the staff it's friendly but they are ready to assist you and make you do the exercises. After my rotator cuff surgery I had about 10% use of my arm and shoulder, I left at 85% range of motion. I moved to San Diego so I have to look elsewhere. Such an amazing team! June was my Therapist and she was so encouraging and helpful. Before I started Physical therapy, I was in constant pain. Just extremely frustrated, and felt like there was no end in site. Yet here I am, 6 weeks later, able to completely manage my pain with the exercises and stretches they helped me with, without having to take pain medication around the clock anymore. Was good years past, at least the Dr and therapists were...maybe still are. BUT, the office help has changed and NOT helpful at all. There are not willing to call Dr offices and get paperwork. They play stupid and do not guide you at all. What a shame... because if you can get through them you cam get good help. Unfortunately we didn't get through them. Funny-I got a response back from this company after seeing post. They question how the physical therapy visits were. WELL - we didn't get to the therapy! Since you wouldn't help by requesting additional therapy from Medicare, we didn't get the therapy. We went somewhere else. What a shame... Does the Dr know that you are turning away business? I was referred to Young Physical Therapy for neck & hip pain during my pregnancy. I was VERY impressed with the staff. I was always treated at my appointment time. The physical therapists diagnosed my issues on the first visit & was able to explain why I had pain & how to treat it. They were very considerate of my time, pain & limitations. My experience at this clinic was unpleasant all though there staff was courteous and attentive I found there new receptionist to be very rude, unprofessional and unhygienic when she clearly picked at her nose and then handed me a pen to sign in. I called the clinic to schedule an appointment and they were suppose to verify my insurance and after 3 attempts of me calling them they finally schedule me an appointment. These people are fantastic. My mom's been working with them for about 9 months or so, off and on, due to a problem with spinal stenosis, sciatica and for awhile, recovery from a broken tibia There are only two places in the AV where I do not have a single complaint about. This is one of them. They've done a great job in helping my mom get stronger and back on her feet. Dr Young, Adrianna, June, Susie, and everyone else, thank you! thank you! thank you! All very polite and professional at all times, with one helluva sense or humor. Just look for the funny poster up on their wall in the therapy room. As somebody else pointed out, they clearly all enjoy each other's company and my mom and I always looked forward to going to each of her appointments. Office staff, who all double as assistants in the therapy room, are all great too. It's medicare and the other health care companies that are the problem. Thumbs up to Dr Young and his staff. Dr. Young himself actively engages with many of his patients on a daily basis. He directly supervised everything I did there and performed more than half of my joint mobilization therapy himself. He developed a technique that combines both rotation and gliding motion which mimics actual joint movement and teaches classes to PT professions demonstrating this advanced technique. 5 Stars are not enough! I fell off a roof 2 years ago at work and had multiple injuries. I've had 17 doctors in my recovery and two surgeries. I'm right handed and in the fall I lost most of the grip in my right hand. I thought my career as a Chief Engineer and Contractor was over. Dr Young and June (Especially June) help God perform nothing less than a miracle for me. In less than 4 months, I did all they told me and I got full use of my right hand and shoulder back. I've been to them twice. Before my surgeries and after. I'm so happy. Dr Young has put together an amazing group of people. From the office staff, to the Therapist and their assist therapist, this place is first class. Do not trust this establishment. I was told by the office staff, on more than one occasion, that they were contracted with my insurance. Come to find out, after having 13 visits and the establishment billing my insurance company, they were not actually contracted with my insurance. Now, they are trying to stick me with a $1,000 bill for an error that was their fault and threatening to send me to collections. read more
