This post office couldn't be in a better location for those staying at nearby hotels and shopping at Great Lakes. Even if you're a local, and need to mail a bill, buy stamps, drop off a package, any of the things anyone needs from a post office in the digital age, this location is ideal. In addition, this is one of the few USPS' with a self-service kiosk that isn't broken, or otherwise out of service. That alone gives them a star. The couple of times I've been here, the employees were pleasant and helpful and not anything at all like I've encountered elsewhere. More stars for that. It's a little awkward to get here, though, as the entrance to the parking lot isn't a direct one, but rather requires a circuitous route around another building. read more

I came in to drop off 50 packages (Yes i know 50 packages is a lot, but all the postage is prepaid and I just need them to be scanned in). The worker proceeded to tell me the max she can scan in is 10 at a time. This was a blatant lie, I've gone to other locations and scanned over 100 packages before. Don't waste your time at this branch thinking it's open past 5:00pm. There's a rude, aggressive clerk named Anisha (or so she says thats her name) who closes the counter whenever she wants--even in the middle of the afternoon-- opens the metal gate like its a drive thru window, just to argue and tell you she's "not on the clock." She's like the Oscar the Grouch of USPS. I've never seen anything like it: she will watch you struggle with the kiosk and yell at you for asking simple questions about shipping your packages...Customers feel intimidated and unwelcome. I will not be coming back until this branch changes management or this employee is gone. Never in my life have I ever complained about anyone working for any postal service. I have to now drive 15-20 mins to ship packages because unfortunately I cant drive 7 mins to the nearest office because I DO NOT & I WOULD NOT TRUST HER WITH ANYTHING OF MINE ! read more

Always allot 30 minutes of your time before coming here. Employees are slow, on personal phones behind the counter, move without purpose, and are rude to customers. I hate coming in because I know I'll leave with a headache caused by the sheer incompetence of the workers. They never have more than one person behind the counter. Avoid if you can. read more

This was my go to Post Office. I walked in today, grabbed an envelope, filled it out, stuffed it and sealed it. I noticed a sign taped to the window saying they could only accept cash or check. I asked the worker if this was correct and she said yes. Now I made a mistake by assuming I could take my sealed envelope to another post office. No matter what office I shipped it from, I would have to pay for the envelope. I was wrong. So I tell the worker I'll have to go to another office and she yells that I can't leave without paying for the envelope. I explained it is already sealed and the only notice about no debit/credit card was on her station. She said it did not matter. I could not leave without paying for her envelope. I could not abandon my paperwork inside, so I opened the envelope with the pull tab which unfortunately rendered the envelope useless. I handed her the envelope and walked out with my stuff listening to her nasty comments the whole way. read more

I went there to return a package. I didn't have time to tape the package or to put the printed label on the package. Two girls were there on of them was counting money and the other was talking to her boyfriend, who's not in line. They told me that I could tape the label , using their tape ,but reprimanded me when I wanted to use that tape to close the package itself. This was rude !They offered to sell me some tape. What ! The other post office in Auburn Hills all I have to do is hand them the package and they'll tape it for me and give me a receipt no questions asked , with nobody working at this place they wanted me to do everything. I realize that I should have taped everything up prior to going to the post office but I just didn't have time. Maybe I came at the wrong time but I just don't see how this post office got great reviews given the fact that I was warned about this place. I'll go to the other post office next time for better service. This is an example of our tax money going to waste. I hope that someday they Privatize the Post Office. I normally don't review anything but restaurants but I'll make an exception. This shouldn't happen to anybody else. If you want better service go to another post office. read more

This is my favorite post office, the employees are helpful and courteous, the location is convenient being just off I-75. In the past I've had staff members offer unsolicited advice about more cost effective packaging and shipping options. Very satisfied! read more

This post office is good if you want to mail. Personnel is friendly and helpful. But highly would not suggest depending on getting your mail from a PO Box. Management could care less. After 4 years I have just accepted the fact that some days they may fill the PO Boxes and some days they will not. Manager has blamed everyone under the sun. Delivery guy, sorting plant you name it I have heard it. Bottom line it is not a new problem. The management including the Post Master just could care less. As a business it is important I get dally mail and it just does not happen. In my business I replace incompetent staff. But this goes on and on. Days I will get mail with post marks of 3 or 4 different days. Want to mail there take a chance but to get mail delivered there I would not suggest it. read more
