I usually use Click-N-Ship and print my labels at USPS.com and visit this location to have the package scanned so the recipient can see their package has been accepted when they track it. This location is my favorite for this reason, usually the Mesquite location on Grubbs is filled with other customers and obtaining a receipt for the reason stated before turns into a long wait in a line of 15+ people. The Dallas location on Tom Landry is nice because they are open until 10PM on weekdays and 8PM Saturdays and 6PM Sundays, which is king to be able to have packages scanned in on a Sunday and even late evenings on the weekdays, but that location is quite the commute. So this location is my go to for these reasons.

I am a retired federal worker, and this office is a freakin joke. One representative told me that issued a penalty for 9 months because I did not sign up for Medicare. I told him, I just turned 65 two months ago, and you know I had 3 months before and 3 months after to sign up for Part B. How can you penalize someone who just turned 65. Oh, I have to talk to a supervisor. I have never seen incompetence at this level before in my life. Today, I spent an hour holding, then the phone clicked. It was 4 pm., so I guess the local branch closes at 4 pm. Freakin unbelievable the service you get these days.

I had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life at Eagle Postal. Here's why:…read more 1) The first time I visited, the solo employee there didn't wear a mask at all, even though a sign on the front door stated that masks are required for customers 2) The employee offered me ten percent off my purchase if I wrote a five star review. That's definitely a violation of Yelp's terms of service, and likely every other review site (and probably explains why this place has such a high rating on Google maps). 3) Most importantly: I was a ponytail of pandemic-chopped hair that I was sending to Locks of Love. A few days after I shipped it, the Locks of Love package was RETURNED to me for having insufficient postage, and I was shocked to see that Eagle Postal had applied only $1.80 worth of postage to it. I assume that they just pocked the remaining $3 I paid? Had this been a time-sensitive package, this could have been disastrous. I returned to Eagle Postal a few days after that (about a week after my first visit) and interacted with a different employee. I explained what happened. He took down my info, and assured me that when the manager came in, a refund for the package would be processed, and he'd be in touch. I never heard from them again, and never got a refund. I eventually went to the actual USPS post office to send the package; they told me that it cost $5 total, and that it had to be shipped as a package, not an envelope, which is why it was returned. 4) Less serious, but also suspicious: I also sent a sewing project in a bubble mailer I'd made for a friend. This package eventually made it to its destination, but it was shipped media mail (which is *very* cheap); it weighed very little and I was charged over $7 for it; it was a birthday gift and arrived very late. The employee didn't ask what was in the package; media mail is subject to stringent regulations, and my package didn't meet those rules and shouldn't have been classified as media mail. Don't use Eagle Postal unless you want your packages returned to you with insufficient postage!
