EVERY time I have to go in- which I always dread doing because of said person- there is one certain man that always has the worst attitude ever. He is always being sooo rude & mean & making you feel like a total idiot. Today he literally made me cry because I had to do 2 transactions for personal & business reasons & he got very upset at me because how dare I have to do 2 separate transactions?! I wish I could give 0 stars. I got a notification to come pick up my package from this location because my package was undeliverable. Why? I don't know I've never had that problem before I think it's pure laziness honestly. So I drive here to get my package ( says I have until the 25th to get it ) it was supposed to be delivered on the 10th... it's the 12th.. and they say they don't have it. Kept cutting me off when I tried to explain to them what it told me and that it said they do have it. Then proceeded to laugh at me.. the entire staff. I have had two packages get "lost" when shipping at this location. I had two different packages (Shein provided the two return labels) going to the same store. I mailed both on the same day, one package made it to Shein, the other just mysteriously disappeared so I have to make a claim. A few days ago I shipped two items to the Shein again, I received notification that one item made it and the other says it never left the Baytown post office. Whichever broke employee that's stealing the packages should be very ashamed of themselves. This isn't a coincidence at all. It's frustrating and pathetic. Very unsatisfied with this USPS office! We've lived in our home for a month now and still can not get into our mailbox! Baker post office has failed us! They claim they don't have enough staff to fix the key issue on the mail boxes so we are to pick up our mail from the post office if we want it! I can understand unforeseen issues but a month has passed & Baker post office has done NOTHING to resolve our issue! Also, when we go to the Baker location it's like they don't even know what's going on & they don't know where our mail is & have to track it down! This is one of two post offices in Baytown, and it's just ok. The other post office has very limited hours and is in the corner of town. This location seems to always have a line with too few attendants. In recent years, it's become clear that the workers at this location are trying very hard to address all customers by way of a pick-up window and a person that randomly checks for passport needs. And while there seems to be plenty of PO boxes, everytime I inquire about a small one, there seems to only be a large one available for rent... As Baytown seems to be in constant growth, it seems strange that this post office has not grown in over 20 years. A person really has no choice but to visit this place... read more

This place sucks. The managers suck they like to pick on you and they hate training people on what to do. Also they don't like helping customers , so if you're wondering why the lines always long well now you know . The general manager there doesn't have a backbone he lets his peers take control over him when he has the higher title all the because they are women.. there are barely any guys working there. I only seen about 7 including me. And mind you about 30 people work there. If I could rate them zero starts, I would! I had a $400 package that was marked delivered. However, I never received the package and a week later they are still "looking" for it. They don't care about me or my package and now I have wasted $400. I even had to take a day off of work to do up there because no one would help me over the phone and they kept telling me they would call me back, but NEVER did! The sender is kind of working with me and has offered a replacement for $183, but this is absolutely ridiculous! So not only am I out $400 for the package, but also $184 for the replacement, AND a whole days work! I will do everything I possibly can to go above and beyond management to get something sorted out! Good morning! I just want to send a huge thank you to the postal service for making sure my son's camp packet from the military showed up in time! NOT REALLY! As a result of the poor service from the US postal service that does our route my son will not be going to church camp this year. My son gets a grant every year to attend due to my husband being a disabled combat veteran, but nooooo not this year says the postal service! The payment was due tonight at kids church, and they could not replace the check until today because they had to wait if it was returned to the military kids organization. Worst decision to move where my mail runs through Baytown! This post office and mail service is by far THE WORST!!!! We never get mail and when we do....it's way late!!! I would advise to try all electronic method for bill pay services unless you save numbers, acct. #'s, etc. to pay bills because you will NOT get your mail on time; if ever! I went to this location this morning to renew my child's passport. There is a passport office at this location. My husband took time off of work to meet me, both parents have to be present. I arrived at 8:55 am. The lobby was closed and doors locked. There was no posting of when it would it be opened. There was a line of customers waiting. The lobby did not open till 9 am. I knocked on the passport door office. I had seen the door open and close. There was only one clerk to service the customers waiting in line. After I knocked on the door , She said , "there's no one in there ." I replied , " Can you find out when they will be here ?" She replied , " I have a lobby full of people . " I said , "it says it is open 9 am - 2pm." All she said is she didn't know. I found her response to be rude . There was never an apology to any of us for waiting so long for the office to open. I mailed a package to Baytown Tx, the tracking states delivered at a certain hour. The package was not delivered and no post man showed up that day. Yet it was scanned delivered with a tracking #. I put in an investigation with the Baytown post office. They called me back and the staff was the rudest nastiest customer service rep including hanging up on me. They told me all they can do is read the tracking scan, duh I can do that myself. I requested they speak to the mail carrier that day and they said they do not do that. So how is any investigation done? I spoke to someone else and they said they just go by what they carrier scanned and it was scanned as delivered. This postman either left my package in his truck, delivered it to the wrong address or stole it. They are refusing to speak to the mail carrier who worked that route to find out what happened to that package. Baytown Post Office have the most ghetto, nastiest people working there. The delivery service for tracked priority mail and Amazon packages has been getting steadily worse over the last couple of years, and it is apparently now a widespread problem, judging by the social media comments from neighbors in our community as well as other nearby neighborhoods. Packages are regularly scanned as delivered in/at a mailbox when they are not delivered, or are placed in someone else's mailbox. On some occasions, a scan is made late in the evening (e.g. 8:30pm) showing a package was delivered in the early afternoon, so clearly a carrier is scanning packages undelivered at the end of the day to show better performance than was actually achieved. I've personally experienced three instances of bogus scans in the past week!! These fraudulent practices need to stop! I have filed a formal complaint with the Postal Service Office of Inspector General, and I would urge others to do the same. read more

Been at present location for less than 5 months. Last 3 weeks 3 packages have been delivered to other community boxes (one at their acknowledgement). Staff and supervisors we have worked with were either limited in experience, not very helpful, seemed not really concerned, etc..
