Never Again! Customer Service is horrible! I walked into this establishment not one person in line place was empty. African American woman sitting behind the counter she says I'll be with you in a moment your suppose to wait in line. She says I'm used to people reading the signs. I said what line it's nobody in here. I didn't even come to the counter in front of her I still kept my distance and proceeded to wait. Another lady behind the counter asked if I was getting a passport I said no 1 stamp. She says oh I'll be right with you and walks to the back. Now I've never been in this post office in my life but first impressions are everything. Nobody could stop what they were doing to give me a stamp. The fact that she got smart saying she's used to people reading the signs was unnecessary. I approached her said good morning and this was the response I received. Please educate your employees on customer service and how to talk to people because all that was totally Unnecessary for 1 stamp. She took so long to wait on me I ended up leaving. Fast, courteous service. Clean and organized. I had letters to mail (hey, it happens), but was short on postage. In line, a customer being served suddenly had to do something time-consuming. Instead of holding up the line, the cashier logically asked the other customer to move to the side while she handled me. (This doesn't happen at all post offices, and I'm not sure why.) Like most post offices, credit cards are accepted, and if you need passport photos, you can get those here too. read more

The worst of the worst post office goes to blue bell post office. The workers here are beyond rude and lazy. They pick on you for no reason. Acts super difficult and just do not want to do their jobs. Especially the one with the funky glasses. She's super nasty. Extremely slow service but... BUT... the clerk (female) was extremely knowledgeable and helpful when I finally got up there (They have 4 or 5 registers but only one was open). Finally a second lady appeared. And then vanished. And later appeared again to start working a 2nd till. I needed to ship a package to Canada and this is not my "usual" USPS office, so I am glad it was here. It was a long wait but in the end everything was fine. If I could write a NO STAR review, I would. But then, NO ONE at the Post Office reads these reviews or cares: it's not a business so it doesn't effing care. Sure, there are some good people, but if so, how come most of us meet the uncaring ones time and again? A package from Amazon was supposed to have been delivered last night. We made sure someone was home. We get notice from Amazon that package delivery was "attempted" at 6:22 pm. NO one came down our driveway. NO note was left on our door. I then had to waste 45 minutes with Amazon and then a "Customer Care" person with the Post Office - this is 8:30 pm last night - who had that bored, officious voice that some government employees have. She said that I had "an attitude" because I was trying to get them to do their job.... Wow. Here's what I think happened. I think that the driver on that route - Walton Road - got tired and lazy and didn't bother turning in and going down the driveway, and decided to leave it for the morning shift person to do. This morning, I tried to call the local Post Office and speak to the local postmaster. But there is only the national 800 number, which took me through about 10 menus without EVER asking the question: "do you want to be connected to your local post office?" I finally gave up. No wonder UPS is beating them: USPS has NO sense of customer service. I would gladly pay extra to use UPS EVERY TIME. I'm signing my name and phone number in case the postmaster has the professional courage to call me and prove that he actually cares about his job and how his employees perform. I came here around 3pm to drop off a few things that I was mailing to the Philippines. I was about the 4th person in line and it took me about 20 minutes to just mail two letters. There was only two customer service representatives and the line was just getting longer and longer. By the time I was in the front of the line the waiting line was out the door. The service was great however, I just think they need more customer service representatives at the front office to make the waiting time shorter especially around 3-5pm. I read some horrible reviews before my husband and I headed there for passport renewals. The people there could not have been more helpful or pleasant. They expertly guided us through the hassle of a expedited passport. They even called the passport office to double check and see if things were done correctly. read more

This is the slowest post office. Every time I came here the line is out the door and the lady is so slow. And the other lady is walking around doing other stuff even tho she sees there are so many people waiting. I would recommend this place getting chairs for older people because I feel bad for them to stand and wait for an hour. This is crazy. read more

This post office gets five stars FOR TODAY'S visit. After reading the reviews, I held my breath and headed over to the post office. The parking lot was full so I resigned myself to the idea of not accomplishing anything else all day. I walked in and the lobby was totally clean. All of the boxes were stocked so I helped myself and packaged my presents. Within minutes (around 1:15), a man came out and started guiding people to the automated kiosk. He helped each person kindly and quickly and every person who was helped was thrilled. I got in line with four packages to four different zip codes and he was so pleasant. I am sure he had other things to be managing in the back but he kindly took the time to help people use the kiosk and get out quickly. I am so sorry I didn't get his name! read more

im not sure what people are talking about here... fast? courteous? clean? organized? am i blind?? everytime i goto the post office, its increasingly annoying. first off, im mad that im even going to a post office, the only reason i would ever waste money to send a letter is if its for the state. our state still runs on 1970s technology and apparently email, fax, or online forms dont cut it. secondly, the place always has an insanely long line, with 1 or 2 workers. third, no music. its utter silence. all you hear is the sound of broken dreams, anger, and an occasional fart. im not kidding, standing in a line in this place is the most awkward experience to man. get a phone call? dont answer it. everyone will stare at you, and will be in on it. really, the usps needs to step up its game and make there facilities more friendly. they're extremely old fashioned and arent inviting at all. if only i never had to send something via usps, id be happier. read more

Got a very rude reaction from the clerk there about getting my money back on the certified/registered mail item (my IRS tax return extension) that I sent that is lost. The guy said I could not get my money back--should've sent it overnight to ensure that. So, everyone should know that certificated/registered via USPS means squat. I politely suggested he raise this at whatever next meeting they have about management issues--maybe it might float up the chain to someone at USPS HQ about how to improve things, and to correct why the USPS is in an ever-declining business. He was irritated by this, and I told him I was irritated by his reaction. He then proceeded to curtly close the conversation and hung up on me. So much for USPS and the Blue Bell office. I went to the branch to mail off some pictures on the 20th. The person I was trying to send them to didn't receive them. I went back to the branch because I lost my receipt with the tracking information. I was greeted by a woman with red hair. Once I told the woman the issue I'd run into, her attitude quickly changed from pleasent to annoyed! She said in order for me to get my tracking number I'd need to know the day, the hour, the amount I paid, and the Rep I worked with. I told her I had all of the information, and that the Rep I spoke with was the lady who was working right next to her. She told me I had to get out of line and wait for the other lady to assist me. I did as she asked, and had to wait about another 20 mins before I asked to speak to the manager. When the manager came out ( a heavy set Caucasian male) he told me it was nothing he could do to help me. He said there was absolutely no way to get the tracking number despite what the red hair lady told me, and his Rep helping me a few days prior. I'm sure there was a way for someone to help me get that tracking number. I explained to him that everything is computerized, and I paid extra money to have my package shipped sooner at that same location. I felt seriously discriminated against. Not sure who runs/manages this one, but it's pretty bad... I was not home when they delivered a package. They left a note on my door with a tracking number and the date and time. That was it. No location, no phone num, no attempt for second delivery. I called the post office two days in a row. Line is busy. Finally get the there. Give the lady at the counter the note and she had a confused look. I said - "yes..exactly..." Your phone here doesn't work? It's always busy? She says - yes. And that was it. When I asked her why there's no location or address listed on the note, she says - you should know where your mail comes from. Customer service here - on point. NOT. read more

I knew that the office closed at 5pm, so I made it a point to get there by 4:15pm. I needed to get two things: 2 separate money orders. That's it. I was 2nd in line and a woman by the name of Sheila called me down to her "window." I explained what I needed. Seemed like no problem UNTIL she realized she did not know how to process money orders. At first, she started to get impatient with her safe next to her station claiming it was not working properly (turns out this was a ploy to get me to go to another window because she didn't know what she was doing). She pulls out the money orders and asks me the amounts to which you could see her getting nervous. She started to make up excuses about not knowing how to use the computer system and kept yelling over to her co-worker, Karen, to help her. She would get impatient and Karen walked over and told her to follow the prompts on the screen. Well, Sheila couldn't do this. She would start getting loud with Karen, loud with the prompts that would instruct her what to do, and then loud with me when I would step up with information she was asking me for! THEN, she takes everything and tells me I need to go to Karen's window because she couldn't help me and takes another customer. I stood there, dumbfounded. How do you just merely dismiss a customer? Karen came back to her window to see me and said "Ohhh no, she needs to take you," takes my things and walks back over to Sheila who then becomes enraged with both me and Karen. Sheila says "Well, I'm going to the bathroom" and storms in the back where she stays for 10 minutes throwing a tantrum (you could hear her). Karen set up everything for Sheila to do, all she needed to do is enter her password and finish up my money orders. When Sheila came back, eyes red, she again started to scream at Karen. By this point, I just wanted to grab my stuff and leave. It was 5 minutes to 5 and she couldn't do a very easy transaction. Once we got to the payment part, it turns out my card would only be able to do a $1500 transaction. I called my bank and while I was on the phone with them, Sheila left to lock the doors, came back to the window and told me it was 5pm and they were closed. She then pointed me to the other exit door for me to leave, without my money orders or any help whatsoever. What kills me is I'm currently looking for a job and am fully capable of handling things like this and here is this woman who shouldn't be near technology nor near the public to work with and yet, she's in there, yelling at customers and throwing temper tantrums like she's 4 years old. Good grief - get a grip, TRY to do your job and if you can't do it, find something else to do. This post office is doing themselves a disservice having this woman on staff. Never again --- I wound up going to the Lansdale location and had THE BEST service from EJ who nearly cried when I told her what happened. This Post Office has terrible reviews on line because the counter people had bad attitudes. I have only been here a few times with no incidence until Friday June 3rd 2016. I was mailing a letter with a flash drive in it. When Tricia gave me the price it was a lot more than I have paid in the past for the few times I have mailed one. I asked how come it was so much and I told that I had never paid anywhere near that, she told me that I had not paid the .47 and .68 that I had been charged in the past. I told her yes I had, she told me that I did not pay that at that location. Again I told I had. When I asked her why it was that price she told me that it was a package. I told her it was a letter. Her attitude became more condescending. When I asked her why is it considered a package she pulled out a cardboard folder and read the definition to me slowly, condescendingly, and with her finger as if I was a child. She then finished, closed the folder and said that a letter has to be flexible and that my "package" was not flexible. I picked up the letter and flexed it and said this is not flexible? She looked at me and said what do you not understand yet again in a condescending voice. I now have had it and slammed my hand on the scale and told her not to insult my intelligence. As she walked away I asked her to get get her supervisor. Her supervisor came out a minute or two later. Explained what Tricia explained to me in a better manner, but never once apologized for what had happened. I asked for another counter person and waited in line and mailed the flash drive. Monday morning a police officer shows up at my place of business. He has a photo copy of the letter I sent and asked me what happened. He told me that I was banned from that location. Fine by me. The fact that she can treat me poorly and when I verbally defend myself she can waste tax payer dollars and police resources by sending the cops to tell me that I am banned is laughable. It is not illegally to tell someone to stop treating you poorly. What kind of a country do I live I where I have to let someone treat me like garbage? That is not the America I was born and lived in. I will be contacting the post master about this incident as well as the police. I would give this ZERO Stars if the system would allow me to. read more
