I AM SICK TO DEATH AT THE LACK OF SERVICE OFFERED BY STATION A OF THE UNITED STATES POST OFFICE BRANCH IN CLEVELAND, OHIO. i was supposed to have a package delivered. I got one of those pink slips in my mailbox this morning saying I had a registered parcel and when I called and talked to a supervisor to report that the carrier just dropped the slip in the mailbox without even trying to knock on the door or ring the bell I was told to call back at 4 when the carrier would be back. I have now been trying for almost half an hour to get an answer at this branch and nobody is picking up the phone despite repeated attempts. This HAS to be the worst branch in the entire city because every time I get a package delivered they never knock or ring the bell but simply leave it on my porch. read more

Cleveland USPS location at 44103 Extremely poor customer service. I've dealt with 4 different supervisors through phone, and every single one of them has rude attitude and is super unprofessional. In the last 3 months, I had more than 10 packages delivered to my house from this USPS location, and about half of them were late by four-five days. When I call them to know the whereabouts, the supervisors show irritation towards me, and they are non-apologetically rude about it. To be honest, customer service doesn't entirely matter as long as I get my package on time, especially when I actually pay extra shipping fee from Amazon. But when these guys mess up, then there is absolutely no purpose of me paying for extra shipping service. What bothers me the most is that the carrier would simply indicate the package as 'delivered' when it's actually just sitting at their office. I'm not assuming this because they themselves (supervisors) acknowledged, that their carrier has too many packages to deal with, they just scan it as 'delivered' as soon as the package arrives to the post office. The cons about this issue? After getting notification saying that my package is delivered, I go out to check my mailbox during freezing cold weather and nothing is there... for DAYS. I can go on and on, but if I had the control of choosing another post carrier, without hesitation I want to switch. This branch is just too ridiculous. read more

I have used this post office for years. I have never had a problem with the people there. They are generally efficient and I have yet to run into one who was not polite. Considering that people don't like to wait in lines and are generally impatient, that may account for some of the negative reviews here. People get themselves riled up when waiting for things, approach cashiers, etc., and talk to them as if they are stupid, and then complain about bad service. I'm not dismissing the fact that others may have had bad experiences, but many times the service you get anywhere may be a reflection of your attitude toward the people behind the counter. I have not given more stars because the service is fine. I've not had an incident where it was outstanding. read more

the regular mail carrier gets the mail at 10 a.m. you know when hes not there cause you either don't get it or it comes by 9 at night.always get mail for upstairs even though they moved 10 months ago.still looking for mail for sears,got screwed over for new insurance on the stove cause we haven't gotten it in the mail when they said they mailed it the first of November. read more

This location shows exactly why the USPS is going under. Poor customer service. Poor Products. This branch consistently leaves packages in the street to be stolen. Never ship anything to anyone is the 44102 zip code through USPS. It simply wont get there. In person attendants are snobby, rude, and choose to make up and modify rules to make their lives easier. Save yourself time and money and use one of the private shipping companies. read more

This has got to be the worst Post Office in the City of Cleveland, The carriers I don't think sometimes even attempt to deliver the mail or check when they are sorting it. Anything of real importance I pay extra to have Fed Ex deliver it because who knows if I will receive it thru this Post office. Over the past 2 weeks I have received a neighbors check, another neighbors magazine, another neighbors tax bill another neighbors insurance paperwork. At least once a month I receive someone elses's mail sometimes is on my street and sometimes its from a street over. I always take it to the correct person but I am sure some people don't. Its not theirs so they just toss it Plus to even make matters worse I checked a package that I was supposed to receive on line and it stated that there was no access to the mailbox. I was actually home when the mail was being delivered and doing yard work but when the mail came I was in the backyard. You mean to tell me that the mail person could not deliver my package because when I mowed the grass I had not swept if few little blades that had blown in the walkway? Seriously.... then it said they said it is being held at the post office not they are saying they will redeliver it. I am holding my breath. The last time this happened they lost it. read more

Customer service at this location remains consistently the worst in Cleveland. I called today at 5:05 to ask how late they were open. After confirming with a second woman, the woman who answered the phone told me 5:30. I called back at 5:17 after getting there and finding it had closed at 5:00 - AFTER I'd called the first time. The woman that answered the second call was not polite at all and hung up while I was in mid sentence. Just go somewhere else - clearly the people that work there want you to use FedEx anyway. read more
