A nice post office that luckily I have never had problems with. Usually by visits here are very quick because I just need to drop my package off in their bin and leave. The staff here is hit or miss but it depends on the time that I have gone. They are usually a bit more chipper in the mornings because they haven't dealt with people yet lol! The location is always clean and has a nice amount of parking spots, both accessible and for the general public. They have a couple drop boxes outside you can drive up but I trust going inside more so my mail doesn't run the risk of being stolen. This location has a 24 hour lobby because of PO boxes and the place is always lit and I have never felt unsafe here. read more

Two of the nasty women I have ever encountered. So busy yelling at me I could not even ask a question . I had a prepaid label that needed to be printed. I was one of 4 customers, close to closing. Went to tamarac office. The lady was as nice and wondeful as can be. Close to closing with a line out the door with people still coming in . Not only was she helpful but she was kind and smiled. Located on University Drive a little north of Griffin Rd, this post office has a lot of items not going for it. There is only one entrance and it's actually past the post office so you have to drive past it and turn in and go backwards and then turn back up around to the parking lot. They have drive up drop boxes out front on the drive in however they are often full to the point where you see other letters in the opening. I have heard multiple times about people putting items in these drop boxes to have them stolen out. Always, always drop your mail inside the post office if it has anything sensitive. The supplies inside were a bit run through during their closed hours when the lobby is still open. Lines here can get pretty long. read more

Not too sure why this place has the horrendous reviews it does but I guess everybody's experience definitely varies when it comes to this post office location. The handful of times I've been here just includes me having to drop off a package and every time I have, I've been greeted before the post office worker goes back to helping whoever they are with. The place is always clean but I will say that it does seem like they are on the rather slow side when it comes to helping customers because the lines here have gotten insanely backed up to where it looks like you will be at least an hour waiting if you need to talk to somebody while you're here. They certainly know me at this location as I have been coming to buy stamps and mail packages to Maryland for years. Today I came because I had to overnight a payment that I forgot to pay, a very important one at that. Since I have all the craziness in my life and stress I did an oops. The overnight postage was a whopper at 26. 00. This location is a bit crazy to get into with a lot of potholes and limited parking but convenient for me. Located between Sheridan street and Taft street on University Drive and across from the hospital. You could actually miss the entrance if you are not focused, I've done this many times.Only one way to get in which isn't the best. The mailbox is in the back. Always understaffed. Self service machine is always out of order so often a long wait. Do not use the regular Mail Drop boxes- I have mailed two birthday cards out to different states that had small value gift cards in them - they never arrived. I also mailed out two postcards to two different addresses - one took 3 weeks and the other never arrived. I now only use this place to ship packages with tracking. I would give zero stars, but the counter staff are nice and do the best they can. read more

Customer service is really bad. They don't really try to help you if you're somebody else color they seem a little bit racist. They'll help white people as much as they feel obligated to being passively rude to other others. I sat in a post office for 20 minutes for something that should've taken five minutes or less they didn't have barely any good working pens. They basically let me damage my own box that I was shipping out because they couldn't help me or even offer if I wanted to purchase a shipping label, which should've been the first thing that they offered me not to mention the lady helping me for a split second and I look down and she had reached over the counter and selected what she felt like her customer service was because she knew that I was gonna put that it was very poor because she and I both know the customer service that she gave me was disgusting Don't go to this location. DO NOT SHIP FROM HERE!!! This is the WORST USPS location ever! I have been using this location on and off for 9 years now. When I first moved to FL, this was the location I used. I live in the area again and this is really close to where I live. The 1 Star is for my experiences within the past year. I do not think anything I mailed from this location ever made it to the destination. In fact, there was not any tracking information provided. After a couple of times of packages and letters "getting lost" in the mail, my husband started bringing the items directly to the counter and waiting to watch someone scan it. Yeah, that still did not do anything. I mean I thought it is a federal offense to tamper with mail? Due to the several missing items, I have been charged by companies such as eBay and PayPal and now are in collections. I will never deal with this post office location again and would rather travel further to mail something to ensure it arrives at the destinations. This post office has the most awkward and I will add, difficult access. If you get here from the south, you're fine. If you drive here from the north, however (do not ask about the east nor the west), you cannot make a left turn into it, and you will not be permitted a U-turn at the traffic light. They are open till 6:00 p.m., so I made it in time and the line wasn't too long. They had only two registers open, but there was one other person assisting customers, though he jumped me and went straight to ask the customer behind me if she needed help. He might have a trained eye to know I didn't need his help. Withal, I was very satisfied once I got to the next available agent. Melody helped and also made me laugh as she gave directives to the... you guessed it, team member who passed me by. Quite the wit! The parking lot is full of pot holes and I cringed as I drove in and back out! Do I recommend this branch? I suppose so, if in dire need and headed south. Otherwise, move on. What can I say? Going to the post office can be a drag. There never seems to be enough employees at the counter. When there are, it seems they are caught up with something else rather than handling customers. Well, I walked in and I was the first customer waiting in line. I thought it must be my lucky day. An employee in the front of the counter asked if she could help me. I came there to get a yellow card for a mail hold and I also wanted to buy postcards. Yes, postcards from the post office. My side hobby is entering contests and sometimes they require USPS postcards to enter. Many other post offices do not even sell these anymore. So the employee gave me the yellow card I needed and told me to wait until the next person behind the counter could take me. I look ahead and there are actually four employees all behind the counter at their stations....hopefully to take customers. Yes, there were actually four employees up there unlike usual when there are only one or two. But, that doesn't mean my wait was any shorter. One employee seemed to be busy with her hair, another employee was just staring at the computer screen. Yet another employee was working with a customer for ages. The fourth employee finally took me. Once I went up there I was out within a minute because my order was easy. I was very pleased with the lady I dealt with originally because she tried to help me right away. It was also nice to actually see an employee at every station, even if two of them were busy doing unknown things. read more

You can tell she's a miserable person. Unwilling to help. Blatantly telling customers she does not care that -this and that- had to be done a certain way. She definitely needs to take a class on customer service and manners.
