I asked for two different style of stamps and they were out of both. USPS tends to offer the least expensive shipping, which is why they are always so busy. Just happened to be in West Pines and needed to drop off a package at this USPS. The intersection of Pines Blvd and Flamingo Road is horrible and entry into this plaza was difficult. The USPS is not visible from Pines Blvd and is at the far back of the plaza with limited close parking. The interior was spacious and busy but waited only 5-10 minutes. This specific package was important to ship out today. The postal service officer scanned my package and circled the tracking number on my receipt. She asked me to apply her performance rating on the digital screen with a choice of three faces - frown, dull and smiley. Located in the back area of the strip mall on Flamingo and Pines (across from CB Smith) , this is a rather large post office. Arrived today and there were only a few people in line ahead of me. Staff was friendly and helpful with the questions and items we needed. They have some extra supplies behind their counter that aren't up front with all the other supplies so if you don't see what you are looking for, just ask. Would definitely be willing to come back to this one versus my usually location which almost always has a long line in a small space. read more

This location has remained consistent for many years. Because it's in a somewhat busy area & the store itself is on the smaller side, it can fill up pretty quickly. There's usually only 2 employees working the front but it's pretty efficient. Much like any post office, you should expect a bit of a wait if you're going during peak times. They offer all of the services here with plenty of packing materials for sale. The layout is simple so it makes everything easily accessible. It's also kept organized & is rarely a mess, which can't be said for all USPS locations. All in all, this is a solid location to use. Any time I visit it's a good experience. This place fills up quick so definitely have your stuff together before you make the line. I recommend coming with someone if you can that way one person can make the line and other person move about if necessary. I came alone and had to get out of the line because none of the pens work. No one in line was forgiving enough to let me get back in place. The workers moved at an average pace. They definitely didn't move with any urgency and only one person acknowledged those waiting. The staff here have always been friendly and despite there always been a line, they move pretty quickly so the wait time isn't unbearable.

Today 08/10/2022 there was a two older ladies attending customer and the one in particular who attended me was Mireya she had a nasty attitude + was not willing to help me prepare my package while she spent a good 10-15 mins helping the customer prior from me, not sure what her problem was.... I had already printed the stamp so all she just had to do is basically scan it and put it away. She started talking back to me in a nasty way with zero Customer Service ! Her attitude was so out of it. she needs to be replaced by somebody that needs number one to be there to work and help people and number to somebody that enjoys her job because clearly she doesn't like her job. Horrible horrible customer service. That lady needs to be pulled to another work station definitely doesn't have the etiquette to work in front line with customers. read more

I needed to mail off a box that required 1 strip of tape (which I've done before at other locations) and the lady wanted to charge be for a tape dispenser. I mean... would you make me pay for a stapler if I needed 1 thing stapled? This is ridiculous. There's always a problem at this location where if they have to do anything other than scan the box and hand you your receipt, it's a problem. All staff member here are always in a bad mood. Sigh. There is a lot of sighing and finger tapping that goes on here while waiting in line. The first time I came to this location there was one postal worker and 10 people in line. The line went relatively quickly. The lady at the counter was friendly and knowledgeable. I couldn't understand what was so wrong. Today, I realized I must have been there on the off day when they actually have a competent person working. Today the situation was far different than the first. So you see my friends, sometimes it is good to hold off judgement and reviews.. there were only 3 people in line 3 people waiting... took ten minutes just to see a teller... then when I got to the front, I asked for 2 sheets of Hendrix stamps. Oh boy this is where I need half stars again because I would give this post office 2.5 stars. Be prepared to wait and no I don't mean 10 minutes on an average every time I've been here I've had to wait 30 minutes. They usually have 2 people working the counter even though there's room for 3 or 4. There's always a line out the door no matter what time or day I've gone. The service is also very hit and miss and depends on who you get. Some are friendly and go out of their way to help you and the others well they won't even brake a smirk. You'll usually find empty spots for where certain supplies should be. The store itself isn't as small as everyone describes it, I just think it's set up all wrong and if they moved some things around they could make it feel more open and give the whole store a better flow. The one good thing I can say is that I've never had a problem with my packages not arriving on time or getting lost that's the only reason for the stars I give. read more
