This really is the worst Post Office in the area. I hope they close it one day. Impossible to drop off a package. Either the drop off is closed or it's full because no one on the other side wants to remove the packages to make run. Lazy. Bare minimum. In my opinion, less than the minimum. If there were negative stares to give I would rate them with negative stars. Do not get your passport renewed here, the staff is very slow uncaring and live up to the stereotype of unhelpful government employees. We went to get our passports renewed, took time off work. Waited for over 40 minutes for our appointment only to be told that the photo machine is not working. They were aware that we had an appointment with photo service and were aware that we were waiting for this when we checked in. When we asked Paul (the lead!) why he didn't tell us to go get our pictures taken somewhere else while we waited, instead of apologizing or self-reflecting he threatened us with not being able to get our passports. This is egregious and unacceptable and why I will never get a passport renewed through USPS. I will find any 3rd party application location as they might understand that your job is not an entitlement. Your job is dependent on good customer service - even if you work for the government. I stopped in this post office to pick up some fun stamps. The line was quite long and very slow moving (something under most circumstances that would have sent me back to the car immediately!) I however had no pressing plans at the moment so I waited it out. I'm not certain if there's a prime time to come in, but mid day was certainly not it. The carrier from this location has intentionally delivered my mail to the wrong location and today she destroyed my mail that was marked 3 times that it was fragile all over it. She bent it up to fit it in a tiny mailbox. I am looking into filing charges at this point. What this carrier is doing is criminal and no one is doing anything to address this. I have absolutely had it with this location. I have contacted corporate. You will not get away with this. If your carrier isn't going to do her job she needs to be fired. Don't go to this post office, they are the worst. They said they take walk-ins for the passport but they actually don't. Please don't waste your time. We got there at 8:40 am, they are supposed to take walk-ins from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. The guy with the glasses said he was waiting for the other person to show up to open the passport office. The other guy got there at 9:30 am and he waited until after 10 o'clock to open the passport office. He then stated he couldn't take any walk-ins because it was already past 10:00 am. This was our second time trying at this location, and it was the same story both times. The first time we thought he was just having a bad day because he was being super rude so we decided to give it a second chance since we really needed our baby's passport. We had a passport appointment today for 10:45. My wife and I took off work for this appointment as well as brought our 2 small children. We showed up at 10:20 because our printer was not working and needed to get some forms to fill out. There was noone in the passport room until about 11am. At which point we were late. We made a deal with the only other gentleman there that we would switch spots so that we could fill out the forms. We didnt think it was a big deal. Nor did the gentleman who we switched spots with. Enter a chubby, short postal man with glasses and a complex that comes from years of working the same job that you just aren't passionate about. He deemed the act invalid and proceeded to try and intimidate my wife rather than engage in a conversation with me. My wife asked what the big deal was since there was noone there at the time and after yelling in a boisterous tone about how they are short staffed, he paused... "said f*** this" and ran to a backroom. Quite frankly it all happened quite fast (short trigger clearly) so i didnt react as fast as i would have liked as i was caught off guard. Swearing in front of 2 small children is unacceptable. Let alone a woman only asking 2 short questions- nothing more once realizing this guy was unhinged. Hes very lucky he ran to the backroom to hide after speaking that way... could have helped us out and fulfilled a kind act for the day but apparently thats not what our post office accommodates. Not only would i suggest this man gets some formal training on how to talk to his fellow man but i would also suggest a talking to on how to conduct yourself in a calm manner around women and children who pose no threat to your all mighty passport authority. I would love to talk to someone about this if possible. I believe there are moments in life when you lose yourself and negatively impact those around you. I think this man did that a long time ago. As much as I love how awesome people are in Texas. I have to say, it's been a while since I've come across someone so unhappy with what they do. Every time I come to this office this tall darker man with a mustache assists me with my postal needs. Upon approaching the counter he has a frown on his face, seems disengaged and the last place he'd rather be. It ruins my experience to the post office. Unfortunately this post office feels chronically understaffed and often is out of supplies for the self service machines. When you add in the difficulty of getting in and out of the parking lot unless you are heading north on Coit or west on Parker, it becomes an experience more frustrating than helpful. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I had the pleasure of getting the man with the crazy mustache both of my visits. If I've ever met someone who doesn't care about a job it's him. I came yesterday with a label that needed to be printed and he said he could only do it if it was a QR code, later on after I left I found out that yeah a post office can print a label off your email. So I came back today with my label printed and I just needed tape to tape it on because I had forgotten to bring some from my house but I was lucky to get that same lazy guy again and he really said "okay you can purchase tape from us" are you kidding??? He said "we only have priority tape, no other kind". IVE DRIVEN HERE TWICE AND TO OFFICE DEPOT TO PRINT MY LABEL WHEN HE COULDVE DONE IT YESTERDAY AND NOW HES TELLING ME TO BUY TAPE FROM A POST OFFICE?????? You're kidding!!!! He needs to be fired, but then again it seems that the job description for a postal worker always includes "doesn't give a crap about their job". Assumed I stole shipping supplies even tho the clerk who checked me out was 6 feet away. Absurd, borderline racist behavior. I wanted to ship a care package so I was referred to buy a box and tape from the store. I check out and go in my car to pack everything up. I go back in, ready to ship! Another clerk was suddenly suspicious and asked if I bought these supplies (box and tape) from the store. Yes, I did. The man who checked me out was next to him. He gets all puffy and confers with another woman employee and they ask if I can get the scanner tag for the tape. I rummage through my car and get this tag. Then a woman clerk asks me if I bought threes supplies here, I repeat yes and point to the man who checked me out. Her and the other clerk literally HUFF and say "we thought you stole". Why would you assume that?? I told you multiple times I bought the supplies. I was here less than 20 minutes ago. Shit awful experience. read more

Any time my packages are brought here because they are "undeliverable", they go missing. The last 3 times I've been here to pick up a package, they confirm they don't have them. This post office is, hands down, the most incompetent post office ever. I've only been a resident in their delivery area for 3 months and they have messed up 3 important package deliveries. Additionally, who knows when the mail will get to one's mailbox? There have been says where it has been nearly 8pm. I've also received my neighbor's mail - a clear disregard for paying attention to details. Opening a investigation with the post master is useless, too. They don't do anything about the incessant incompetence. To top it all off, I have called and called and called the post office ALWAYS to be disconnected. Then I go into the actual facility to see/hear employees disconnecting the line. Seriously? How this post office hasn't crumbled to the ground is beyond me. I visited today and I feel as if USPS read the earlier posts and started to do something about the service. Here is my experience: I walked in and it was very busy. Might be one of the few in the area open on Sat. There were 3 booths with a line of about 8 of us. Another area open had a line of 3 people. I moved pretty quickly. Here is what impressed me enough to write a review- there was another person helping with package pick up. When he finished, he came out behind the door and asked the cashiers if they needed help or change. When they said no, he turned to the next folks in line and asked them if they were ready to go - had everything filled out - had any questions? The cool thing is that he determined that the woman behind me could save $$ just by changing her package - and it would still get there exactly when she wanted. He helped her, then moved her to a cashier to make up for losing her place in line. I actually put off this trip because I knew I had to use a window (the service I needed is not offered online) and didn't have the time to go through a long wait. I'm hopeful that my future experiences will be like this though. Don't remember the "supervisor's" name that was helping, but shout out to my guy at the window - "Lee". read more

Several times i've had issues with my mail not being delivered to me. They tend to mark tracking as delivered but don't actually deliver the item. Don't try to reach out to USPS and get it resolved either bc they'll basically tell you you're fucked if it wasn't insured. I ordered a gift for my dad and it was marked delivered but never reached my mailbox and they refuse to credit me what i've spent. What a shame. Get your shit together and train your carriers correctly. Update, i bought a gift for my boyfriend this time and was left an orange slip to pick up at the office, no big deal. I went to get it and they told me they couldn't find it and that the carrier states he "must've made a mistake". They took my information and told me they'd call me in which they never did. I came to retrieve a certified mail that I had previously signed for redelivery and was ignored. One more 1 star review! Anyone surprised? My mail is CONSTANTLY delivered to the wrong address(es). I have called the post office many times and on the RARE occasion I get to speak to someone, they say they will "take care of it" and the mail is incorrectly delivered again. This is our mail center at our apartment complex. No wonder why we don't get our mail!! The United States Post Office (Parker and Coit Rd Plano, Texas location) seems to be incompetent when it comes to mail delivery. Many, MANY complaints have been made. All resulting in an "investigation" that comes up empty with lame excuses. Postal workers told us to get Informed Delivery, so I did. I've had mail say it will be delivered and it never is. So I report it. NOTHING happens. I have family members send mail to us and it is returned to them as "return to sender, address unavailable." How? Our address HAS NOT changed! Our postal carrier puts mail in whichever mailbox they see fit. Leave mail bins on top of the package lockers or even go as far as throwing it away. How do you trust the postal system when you have shady deliveries like this? Post master doesn't do anything, the inspector general for this area doesn't help much. More needs done! I went to pick up window and rang the bell three times and no one answered. I then went and asked the workers at the counter if anyone was working in package pick up. I was told to just keep ringing the bell. Another customer comes and stands behind me. I tell her I rang the bell three times and no one has answered. She now rings the bell more aggressively. Finally a lady answers the door. She was pleasant. HOWEVER. She tells me to write my tracking number on a piece of paper which I do with my address and phone number. She looks up tracking number and comes back to show me a picture of my package. I see my apartment number is missing. She tells me there is no one to go through parcels to find my package at this time. She tells me someone will call me. This was a week ago. I have not received any phone call and my package still has not been delivered to me. And according to tracking number still shows as incomplete address and failed delivery as of May 13 2021. The bottom line is I still don't have my package. And they did not deliver like they said they would. This is why I prefer to go to Postal Shoppe for my shipping needs. The only reason I came here was because I had no choice. My package was unfortunately sent by USPS which should be USBS. Thank you for reading. read more

It took me over 8 times calling, being on hold and hung up on to reach an actual person. When I voiced my issue, he completely ignored it, and said it's my responsibility to get someone to fix it AND make sure someone from the post office is there as well. Considering I started calling around 8:30am and didn't get an answer until 2pm, I highly doubt that is going to happen. Ever since our older mailman injured himself and went on leave, the new mailman keeps failing to perform his job worth a hoot. We started finding other people's mail in our box and people from the next street over have shown up at our door with our mail. I've found our mail in the street soaked after a rain with other mail in the box. It looked like he dropped it and did not bother to pick it up. Recently, he put the flag down for mail to be picked up, left the mail in the box, and put new mail on top of it. I complained in an email to the post office, and they said they would tell him about these problems. At 7 pm today, our flag is still up for mail to be picked up, and no mail has been delivered.
