The Summerside Post Office in Dallas is the absolute worst!!! They don't deliver my packages when tracking indicates that the package arrives at their hub at 6:00A on the day of delivery. Tracking also indicated that the package was NOT out for delivery. So, I assumed the package was still at the post office. On an instance, I took my time driving to the post office to pick up my package. My package could not be found after several minutes of searching by the manager.The manager said that the driver still had the package and that he would come by later in the day for delivery. Well go figure, he never came by my house with the package. Bottom line, the manager lied to me. They are FUCKING BULLSHIT LIERS!!! The absolute worst post office service ever!!! read more

Tried to buy stamps- machine was out of personal stamps and immediately started printing out Grey postage stamps. The female black attendant behind the counter was incredibly short, rude, and condescending. Did not try to recommend any solution or have any care. Zero stars out of five. Amazing... After a terribly slow experience sending a group of media mail books at the Carrollton Texas post office with only a single clerk at the counter, I came to this office on Summerside for the balance of my shipment. I was shocked at how nice, friendly, and efficient the 3 counter folks were. Kudos to all of them. Wish I had taken a pic of the group to include them here. If I could give it zero stars I would. This facility is stealing packages. I got a notification that an attempt was made to deliver my package and a letter was left. I work from home and confirmed on my Ring doorbell no attempt was made and no letter was left. I scheduled for redelivery, but this time as a pick-up at this location. I went to pick up and they said my package was rescanned out for delivery and will arrive today. While at this location I re-checked tracking and it said my package was sent back to sender due to incorrect address. This is a lie. You can not say you attempted to deliver and left a note, then say sent back to sender due to incorrect address, especially when I scheduled to pick it up in person. They are stealing packages!!! Do not come here! Do not use USPS AT ALL! Btw... never received my package but a complaint was made and an investigation is supposed to take place. read more

This post office is an absolute mess. First, we don't have a permanent mail carrier. We only have subs. And we get our mail after dark. My last two trips I filled out a form to hold and then redeliver mail. It took three days to get the carrier to deliver. This trip I figured I would request they hold the mail and I will pick it up. I went to the post office today. The carrier was out with the mail. No stars, but the lady behind the counter was very sweet. read more

Rude rude rude! I know it's the post office, but I absolutely dread coming to the post office now....and I have to because I sell on Ebay! Can you imagine how hard that is?!? The only reason they get 2 stars is because of the rare times that I don't get this obscenely rude woman. She's racist for one, very short with everyone (the elderly included), and gets mad when you ask ANYTHING to do with cost or packaging etc... Isn't that her job?!? I find myself going completely out of my way to other post offices or not even going at all some days. The other day I went in and this particular woman was the only one working...I evaluated my happiness level and decided I wanted it to stay just right where it was and walked right out..lol! I have visited this location a handful of times and waited to give my review purposefully. Lines are consistently long, and staff is consistently slow. Usually they have only one member working the front and a typical line will consist of 5 people in front of me with a wait time of about 20 minutes. read more

I stopped in TWICE because my packages weren't being delivered but yet indicating they were dropped off at my business box. Anthony wasn't making any effort to try and help, he was perturbed I came back a week later with additional packages not being received... I asked to speak with a mgr. and he was quick to indicate, Deon wasn't available. He printed ONE of the tracking #'s and wrote my number on the bottom for her to follow up. This was three weeks ago, I'm still waiting for the call!!! I had to wait around and meet the postmaster at the boxes so he could open the front to see if my shipments were placed in another box. Went online to hold my mail as people often do. These people at this location have been sending ALL my mail back to sender. Went to this post office in person to fill out their form in hopes that would hold the mail till I could pick it up. Nope. They are sending it back. The employees here are friendlier than other gov't related places. Pack, ship or rent a box. Easy to get to off Preston.

Unbelievably bad service received from this location, I went there to pick up a package at 6:02 which I understand 2 minutes after they close, however when I walked in they still had a line and were still helping people. I walked in to hear a lady yelling NOOO! I was like oh God what did I do! I asked politely if possible to pick up my package as it only takes a minute she kept shouting NO YOU NEED TO LEAVE! I said please this is only a pick up! She continued shouting NOOO! First, I should not get yelled at regardless of my arrival time, she could have said we're closed without giving me any attitude or raising her voice, second their door was still open and they were still accepting packages, this made me lose faith in this postal office and got me to think twice before dealing with them. I ended up leaving without my package because I didn't want to treat her the same way she treated me as I'm way better than that. read more

They seemed to actually enjoy their jobs and the good moods were contagious. I had mailed my deposit check to my credit union and put the envelope in the deposit drop outside on 11/23/2022. I noticed that the check hadn't cleared after a few days and checked with credit union and was told they had not received it. the only number to call for the post office is a toll free # and a very long list auto system to go through. I waited and kept checking. After over 2 weeks I finally get the envelope back, it had been sliced open and had a yellow sticker saying "return to sender no such number-unable to forward" There was my deposit slip and check in the sliced open envelope, exposing all of my banking information!! The envelope had the correct mailing address and the correct return address. There is no reason to slice the envelope open to begin with and to have my banking information exposed is crazy!! I called back to report this as possible FRAUD!!! I was told I would get a call back??? In a few days!! The person taking the call sounded like a damn robot and now I'm left wondering what to do next??? I feel like I can't trust the mail system any longer!!!! read more

Very speedy and prompt service. There is even a kiosk on the inside for self service to get ir own postage etc. Keep in mind that the kiosk has a minimum of $1 and only accepts ceedit and debit cards, no cash. read more

Serious incompetence from top to bottom. DO NOT get a box here. They have lost our mail. Put our mail in someone else's box and other mail in our box. They have no idea how to manage the office. No one knows anything from the manager to the clerks. Or they may just be covering their butts. And during the holidays the kiosk outside would not dispense postage, just stamps.
