My local post office associates are the best! Even during the Christmas holidays they worked…read morediligently and always took time out to answer questions, help patrons with packaging all while keeping the line (if there were any) moving and chat with every customer. I recently visited another post office to drop off a package and was surprised at how different everything was. Although the associates were nice and helpful to the customer there were incidents where a customer that was packing or writing out a label could have stepped to the side so that another patron could be assisted. Since that didn't happen it created a wait time which created longer lines. The associates at my post office inform the customer to step to the side and continue to answer any questions or concerns they may need while taking care of the next customer which keeps the line moving. I've seen them assist 3 or more customers before the original customer was ready. This is a game changer in keeping lines moving and wait times manageable. I appreciate all that they do it is not an easy job!

I understand that they couldn't send out their carriers with the ice/snow on our streets this past week - and I don't have a problem with that. But the lack of communication, miscommunication, and failure to have the window open during the posted hours is irreprehensible, rude, and irresponsible. When I arrived at 11:50 AM, Saturday, January 31, 2026, the service window was closed, even though the posted Saturday hours was listed as 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. There was 6 people in line in front of the service door and they informed me that they were trying to pick up their mail/packages as well. The lady at the front of the line (and 1 of the other gentlemen in line) informed the rest of us that they had called ahead and were told that as long as they arrived prior to 4:00 PM and had identification that showed their Olive Branch address they could retrieve their mail/packages. The lady at the front of the line would occasionally knock on the door and ring the buzzer on an alternating basis trying to get one of the ladies in the back (that we COULD SEE AND HEAR through the mail slots) to come to the door and allow us to receive our mail/packages or let us know how to go about doing so (or when). After approximately 15 to 30 minutes of knocking on the door, ringing the buzzer, and pleading with the staff through the mail slots, one of the ladies finally come to the door and spoke to the woman at the front of the line basically telling her that she didn't have the authority to hand out mail to us. The lady at the front of the line informed her that she had called ahead and were told that as long as they arrived prior to 4:00 PM and had identification that showed their Olive Branch address they could retrieve their mail/packages. The USPS employee then told her she would have to check with a supervisor on the matter and that she would come back to let us know - in the 45+ minutes that I was in line she never returned to the door to do so, even though after about 10 minutes we resumed knocking on the door, ringing the buzzer, and pleading with the staff through the mail slots. No further communication from anyone in the back and no sign hung on the door or window stating whether or not we had any options. While I was there, we had people leave and others join us in line for the same reason - to pick up our mail/packages, but we never had less than 4 waiting in line. If any of the USPS employees had come out and talked to us or hung up a sign on the door stating they were currently unable to retrieve any mail or packages at that time (and if the person or persons that had been called earlier told customers the same message), I think all of us would have gone on about our day and followed up on this on Monday. Some of us might not have liked it (especially those that had called ahead and been told to come on in), but I think we would have understood and moved on instead of standing around wasting our time. Very unprofessional in my humble opinion.

The building is well maintained, and there is plenty of space inside. Even when it gets busy, it never feels overcrowded. The staff has always been helpful and professional when I've needed assistance. Overall, a reliable post office with convenient self service options and a clean environment. I will continue using this location for my mailing needs.

Thanks for being helpful to me when needed, and thanks for taking care of my shipping needs. This went from a location I avoided unless I just HAD to get something out quick as can be due to time constraints with my own schedule, to a place I actively go to do my business at. The turnaround is something I genuinely appreciate from the bottom of my heart, and thanks for letting that guy from years back at this point walk, retire, or whatever because my goodness he was a genuine drag, he ran his mouth so much and he was so unpleasant to deal with just a little rage monster of a man without good cause or reasoning, or at least none caused by the people he was taking his issues out on I should say at the very least. The employees have always been respectful and helpful each time that I've interacted with them. Now, calling their phone number isn't the best way to communicate with them. Customers really need to speak with a clerk face-to-face in order to obtain real assistance. They honor most reasonable requests, and work to find a solution to issues.

I make a point to use Click N Ship /Use PoshMark Labels and only drop off packages here that…read morealready have postage and I don't wait for them to be scanned--they point you to leave them on a counter if you signal when you come in. I've not had any of them go missing. The staff I've dealt with when I do go to the counter is always friendly but not overly so. USPS has big issues with delivery that are not necessarily the fault of those at the service counter. The building is open on Sat but the service counter is NOT which is annoying and means I must plan a drop off during a weekday because the package drop and outdoor post box are inaccessible. About a year ago someone broke into the outdoor letter box and they haven't reopened it. So there is minimal service here if you are looking for convenience.
