The parking lot is small and can be a challenge to navigate, especially when vehicles park perpendicular to other parked vehicles, while their passengers have gone inside for a "quick" drop off. The Indian man working at this location needs to be fired immediately. He was so rude. All I needed was simple help. He made me feel like a burden, because he had to do his job. I asked if I could speak to a supervisor and he just ignored me. Ridiculous. They lost my package and I left with more questions and no answers at all. They're constantly leaving my mail and other people's mailboxes and vice versa, losing some of my packages and swearing that they were delivered when I have cameras on my house Proving that they were lying and then their drivers they drive over my lawn and tear up the grass and swear up and down, they didn't do it when I have them on camera. This is my least favorite post office in the area. The parking lot is a long thin rectangle. I's small and impossible to see all of the spots. You could get to the end of the lot, not find a spot, and have to turn back onto the road and travel to make a u turn to try again. If you try and go when they are closed 99 percent of the time the automated postal machine is out of order. If you need counter service when they are open the line is always long no matter what time you try and go. I have been to all of the other post offices in the area and they just seem to run them better. I get the feeling that they just don't care here. I've come to this location about 5 times and always had a pleasant experience. Yes they are small, only two clerks, but they are always pretty kind and helpful. Shout out to Jesus Rodriguez who helped me out today. He helped me find a more inexpensive mailing method which saved me about $10. Major props there. He even packaged the item for me. This experience was pretty perfect. Not all are so perfect but this location certainly does not deserve 2 stars. Plus their hours are friendly for those that can't ship before 5pm. read more

I went to the post office in Margate on Coconut Creek Blvd to mail a priority package. Since I needed to be at work asap, I arrived at 8:15 so I could be one of the first people in line before they opened at 8:30am. As I stood there, the line grew to about 10 + people. 8:30 comes and goes and no one comes to open the service center. I waited until about 8:45- still no one opens the door. I knocked on the side door to get someone attention around 8:35, as we could hear people in the back talking. Someone briefly opens the door a few minutes later, but doesn't say a word. No reason given for why they are not open, no apology, nothing. Note that the hours on the building, doors, website and online all say that they are supposed to open at 8:30am Monday through Friday. This has to be the worse display of customer service I've seen in a while. Every employee there that morning should be disciplined or worse, including management. To simply ignore your clients and show a blatant disregard for your business hours or patrons is unacceptable. It's like no one cares about doing there job and they just get paid to do the bare minimum. It's also a sign of poor management since an effective management team would hold their employees accountable for their poor performance and service failures. If you look at the reviews you'll see that poor service is a common practice here. I'd like to have the opportunity to treat everyone there that day the same way we were treated -standing in line aimlessly expecting them to open at their advertised time and wasting our precious time. I can't tell you what time they eventually opened since I had to leave to avoid being even later for work than they already made me. Pathetic and unacceptable is the only way to describe this experience, and the lack of care or concern from the employee who came out and didn't acknowledge why they would not open speaks volume to the culture and attitudes of the employees at this office. read more

Easily the worst Post Office I have ever visited. Unfortunately it is the closest location for a recent work project. Drive the extra mile or two and go to the Coral Springs PO at Riverside and Atlantic. Coral Springs is competent and friendly (and has a hot postman behind the counter with tattoos); Margate has none of those. First, the attitude of the staff is remarkably bad, even given the usual USPS average of bad service. There are usually fewer customers than postal employees, but always a ten minute wait while they either a) do nothing at all or b) talk with one another about personal details. Today was a truly bizarre occurrence. I asked them the nearest OTHER post office location. It turned out it was much easier just to ask Siri o0r the car GPS. It was the worst of the worst, with a Russian-accented (?) clerk grilling me about what zip code I lived in, did my business have permission to get mail in the area, , etc. Finally I said loudly "I just need the location of the nearest other PO or I need the manager"...even then this character continued to ask irrelevant questions. Her English was fluent so that was not the problem. I suspect the former Soviet Union had better customer service. As a side note, the Coral Springs PO at the corner of Atlantic and Riverside is terrific. As an added bonus, there's a muscular hunk postman with tattoo sleeves on both arms there, hehe. read more

My package arrived at this Postal Service Office on 07/26/2022 around 3:51 PM. We are today 07/28/2022 8:16 PM, the Mail man delivered his mail in my Building, but not my package, sitting at this Coconut Creek Parkway Office, may be to make babies. This not the first time of this occurence. Lately I was delivered with two band new book. The mailman decided to force the two packages in my mail box, instead of dropping them at my door step. One of my book had the spine damaged. I don't talk about my mail sometimes dropped in the mailbox of my neighbor.. Awful service at this office. Worst Post Office I never seen. The Post Office at Riverside and Atlantic are way much more professional. Someone at the USPS Management has to do something about this situation at this Post Office location. Nobody likes going to the post office. It's probably most people's least favorite place to go. Actually most people don't even go here anymore. Who sends mail!? I had to pick up a certified letter the other day. They open at 8:30. I got there at 8:25 and there was a line already forming. Lovely. It's like Black Friday but you're picking up bills, sending packages and not ending up with a flat screen tv. The opened the door and like cattle we fell in line. Being honest the line moved quickly (sort of). People ask a lot of questions at the post office. Is it hard to stamp a letter? I don't know. I was driving down the road on Margate, Blvd, Margate, Florida. This letter carrier passed me doing at least 50 to 55 mph in a 25mph zone. I know the speed because i was doing 28 to 30 and she blew by me like i was standing still. I went up to the light and told her to SLOW DOWN and she just gave me a thumbs up and continued to speed after we went through the light. Her mail truck number is 0209311 if i see that woman (african american young woman, i'd say 25 or 26 years old) i am going to give her a piece of my mind. I sure hope i don't see that nasty human being around here again. Now I know what they mean when you hear they get postal on me. Going to the post office isn't any fun, you wait in line for ever and when you get up front they take for ever to process your request. They never have enough workers but I must say they are all friendly. Now, I have my packages stamped and ready to be just dropped off.This seems to be the best way to handle your mail and packages. The post office itself is small and totally needs a face lift. They sell cards and all your box wrapping supplies and if you need to tape your package you have better brought your own tape there is no sharing of post office tape. As you walk in they do have plenty of P.O. boxes you can rent. You can always drop your mail off inside or drive through last pick- up is 5pm. Totally avoid it here around the holidays you will go postal. read more

I'm not the type to write checks or drive to post office. But the very few times I have visited this location has been a good experience. Yes it's boring and quiet in there. I had the pleasure to be helped by Mrs Ivette Delgado. I'm delighted by her costumer service. She assist me by helping me wrap all the packages and by taking her time I appreciate that! I'm having a baby in couple weeks, nothing and anyone made this summer hot day better than her. The staff was great while she was servicing me the other 2 gentleman handled the line pretty well. I think individuals like her that go the extra mile should be recognized! I'm thankful for her weighting all my boxes and also educating me how to make the shipping process faster. Once upon a time this branch used to be my USPS branch of choice on Saturdays before I moved to Coral Springs. It is located on Coconut Creek Pkwy. It has convinint parking, but not enough. Inside the lobby isn't big, and lines get pretty long. There are about three people max that can help customers at any given time, and one other person in the pick up window. There is no official place to form a line, people just form one as best as they can, but I witnessed a lot of cutting in line in my day. Even if you have packages with lables already, you either have to stand in line with everyone else, or drop them in the dropbox outside, I don't like this, because I feel a little better knowing my packages won't get crushed by a 20 lbs box someone brought after me. I know this is a little silly, because who knows how packages are handled once dropped, but it gives me a piece of mine. Overall is an OK branch, but I have my favorites. read more

This post office has to have the worst delivery drivers in the history of the USPS!!!!!! How the hell do I even get hold of the manager at this place!!!!!!! I can't even begin to count how many time since I've moved to Margate in 2018 have we gotten the wrong mail and have had our mail given to another home!!!!!! My damn meds were given to another home with the same house number but different street! These underpaid or over worked carriers don't give a rats azz about their jobs!!!! They rush to finish and do a crap job!!!!! I keep getting my next door neighbors mail and our house numbers aren't even remotely close!!!!! My damn meds I was waiting for that were delivered to another home were "returned to fkn sender!" So I had to wait for them to get back to me from west palm!!!!!!! This is the worst post office you can possibly go to. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!! So unprofessional and rude. Only 2 nice people in that whole building. Everyone else treats their customers like garbage. And they have misplaced a bunch of packages that I sent out last month. Every time I go into the branch the lady that is supposed to look for lost mail never wants to help find or look for it she says that I have to wait. I had to file a claim with consumer affairs and file several individual claims online for each package lost. DO NOT COME HERE! Go down the street and there are a few other locations that are so much better! Remember this happened in the middle of November and still they haven't resolved or refunded me yet. read more
