Workers at the front desk of this location are rude as hell and unprofessional! I went there today just to drop off a package and grab a receipt real quick, takes 5 seconds. I got in there a minute or two before closing and there is a man and a woman working behind the counter. The man is helping a lady customer ship out a package so I walk up to the woman behind the counter and say "I just want to drop off this package and grab a receipt real quick." At the first the lady behind the counter just stands there for a good few seconds and looks at me like I'm absolutely stupid before saying "Yea just one minute" and as she's getting ready to print out a receipt the man working behind the counter interjects with "If you come back during normal business hours sure you can get a receipt, we're closed." Mind you he says this as he's still helping a lady at the counter so I pull out my phone and show him, "It's only 4:29, you guys close at 4:30 and it takes literally 5 seconds to scan the package press a button and it automatically prints a receipt", he replies with "We are closed, this woman was our last customer, come back tomorrow." Needless to say I won't be going back and I have a good mind to call and speak with his supervisor. Last time I checked my taxes dollars pay government workers and I pay too much in taxes for passive aggressive postal workers to be rude with me for absolutely no reason. No one answered the phone there, so I drove 30 miles to the Cadiz KY post office to obtain some mailing address info. The lady at the desk was friendly and tried to help but did not have access to the info I needed. She told me to call back in two hours and ask for "Amanda." I called all afternoon, the next day, and the next. I kept getting the answering machine. Could not leave a voicemail & it would disconnect after several rings each time. Frustrating! So now I get to drive 30 miles back there and HOPE that Amanda is in the building. Some staff are great, but others are unavailable. read more

Very poor customer service. I called the phone number (verified as correct) no less than 8 times in a two day period and no one answered the phone, so I had to drive all the way to the office to ask a simple question. The people working the counter did not apologize or acknowledge the inconvenience. I have been going to this Post Office for over 20 years. Yes, sometimes it seems slow. But it is the customers 75% of the time. If you dislike this Post Office, go to any other one and maybe if a lot do. It will be shorter lines. There is 2 other Post Offices on this side of town. Ft. Campbell & Oak Grove. Horrible location! Will never go back to this office again, and neither should you!!! I dropped off 25 packages into their collection box, it's been a week, and no updated tracking!!! What did they do with them? Throw them away, lose them, keep them for themselves?? They know what they did. I wouldn't trust the people working there. The manager said, packages don't get scanned in the collection boxes?? What? All packages need to be scanned!!! They are awful lying people. Lost me $500 of product. Shame on them. This post office is amazingly irresponsible. They continuously deliver to the wrong address then make it your problem. I've been there multiple times regarding this issue with tracking numbers with no improvement. Gotten worse. I've had informed delivery state delivered when not there I inquired in office and they say it was sent back. I call that stolen. I wish there was an alternative to the USPS. Deplorable. read more

I really hate this post office. Not because of the wait times or location. It's because of an employee. The only middle aged female who works here is always SO rude! She treats me like I'm an inconvenience, complains about me wanting my boxes scanned in (so I can get the receipt), and seems to hate her job and people in general. I honestly don't know how she still has a job here. I've witnessed her yell at other customers. But for some reason, she feels the need to always complain about me wanting my boxes scanned in, opposed to dropping off prepaid ones at the counter. I need receipts for bookkeeping purposes, as I work from home. Not that I need to explain myself to her. And she complains about the long line behind me when it's my turn at the counter because she feels I'm a waste of time. I wait in line like every other person, so don't make me feel like an inconvenience when it only takes a couple minutes! No other employee there (or any other location) has ever treated me this way! I'll stop using the USPS altogether if an attitude like that keeps up. It's absolutely ridiculous. Even friends who tag along with me at times have noticed her extremely inappropriate behavior. read more
