The Arborist with Arundel Tree came across as the most genuine, told us what needed to be done and what could wait. On top of that, their pricing seemed very competitive. Day of the job, the team arrived early with shiny new equipment, did a thorough pre-job confirmation and got to work. After the post-job walk-around, they mulched every branch and left the yard better than they found it. Highly recommended start to finish. My only gripe is the 3% markup on credit card payment... We reached out to them again this year to remove two trees (medium-sized), and they got back to us with an estimate of $4500! That price sounded ridiculous, so we got another estimate from a reputable company -- $1400!! They did a great job and didn't need any heavy equipment. It took about 90 minutes. Shortly after, our neighbors got an estimate from Nelson for removal of two of their trees (large ones) -- $5000! After checking around, they contracted with another tree company for $1600. I'm not sure why Nelson's prices have more than doubled, but if you're thinking of using them, I would highly recommend getting another estimate.
