NO-NO-NO; right off the bat this company is a no-go. Tried calling BOTH of their Mesa, AZ phone #s and met with immediate hangups from their line. Called numerous times; all hangups either intentional or they don't care to have calls to get customers. Sent an Email so the high school kids running this kiddieland may or may not respond. Called a Ventura,CA location's phone #; same result, all hangups. Called the UNITS Franchising Group in NC; one hangup then a voicemail; left a nasty message. A no-go non-starter; don't even have a working phone #. Big warning signs. read more

Needed a pace to store our things for a year while we moved in with Mom. Units was the most affordable and practical option for us. After securing a Unit and scheduling a time, the truck showed up with a very large and very clean storage unit. Once we loaded up our things the truck came back, picked up the Unit and took it to an air conditioned warehouse. Throughout the year the family owned business took care of our little Unit and sent payment reminders via email. The customer service was great and come to find out, Units is a family owned business which is awesome because I'm all for supporting local businesses. Friendly employees, clean units, quick service. Long story short, Units was a fantastic option for storage and moving. Highly recommended! read more

We had nothing but an amazing experience using Units when we moved. The container was secure and heavy duty and when we had to change our moving location last minute they were able to work with us so we got our Unit delivered on time still. The staff was amazing all around. Watching the loading process is fun in and of itself. You don't have to worry about your belongings falling over. The technology was great and did I mention the pricing was reasonable? I would recommend them to anyone. read more

I will never do business with this outfit again. We helped some people move that were getting evicted.. They were sick and elderly. I paid for the drop off one month storage and the pick up from the originating location. They took it upon themselves once the destination for redelivery was determined and charged my card for the new drop-off and pick up the empty unit. They never spoke to me. They were supposed to have charged the homeowners. They were given no authorization to have my card on file nor use it two additional times. The young receptionist was informed after the first charge not to charge my card again as was the owner A. because they had no authorization. Upon talking to the rude owner, A, she told me they had no other card on file and the emails had went unanswered which was absolutely wrong and untrue.No email was ever received. I disputed the first charge and my bank got me the money back and I disputed the 2nd charge under fraud. I was angry with her on the phone because she would not refund my money and she subsequently hung up on me. Bill the homeowner on Maui Lane because you will not get your money from me. You have their signature not mine. You will not find my signature on any contract with Units. On top of all this I paid for a full month of storage. Any reputable place would have refunded the remainder of the month or prorated it. They only had it for 10 or 11 days. I canceled my credit card to avoid any further charges that were unauthorized and fraudulent. I did something nice for some people and paying for it initially then really paying for it in the end twice and having to go through the trouble of getting my card canceled because they would not accommodate and we're very rude about taking my money. Annette, you cannot keep people's credit card numbers on file without them knowing it then using it when you see fit. Since I can't leave it unrated I would give it one star and say buyer beware. read more

I am very pleased with this company. It was so much more convenient to do on site storage than going through the process of moving items to an off storage unit. We were able to fit the large pod on our side yard while having an extensive remodel done to the house. The delivery and the pick up was 'Easy'! Seriously, the name of the gentleman who did the drop off and pick up was 'Easy' and he was extremely pleasant and always called to confirm before he arrived. The overall cost was less than the cost of renting a truck and a unit of comparable size had we opted to move items to a normal storage facility. Office folks were very helpful. I had trouble getting professional responses from the couple who operate this company. The quote I received was not the price I was charged. I made sure to pack the unit very carefully because of the fact the units are loaded onto a truck. When I first entered the unit at the facility several things were tossed inside of the unit. When I had the unit delivered to my new residence the driver was not careful about unloading the unit again. It probably took him no more than five minutes and when tilting the unit it was very jerky. You could hear things inside moving around. Would not recommend. read more

We needed a storage unit to move across town on very short notice. Units storage came through with fast and friendly service, delivering just 24 hours later. They explained how to use the unit, the best way to pack it and were available by phone and email for any questions we had. Affordable: They were much cheaper than the big competitor and the pricing was straightforward. Easy: The drop off of the storage unit was clean and fast. Safer: Once the driver explained how to use the strapping system (straps are additional rental fee) we saw how easy it was secure our belongings at each metal bracing point along the inside. Nothing was broken in the move at all! Communication: The Driver and customer service were friendly and called and showed up on time. 2 things to make sure you do: 1. If possible know your drop off, pick up and return dates, this avoids delays in getting the unit moved. 2. Think about how much space you'll need. We were recommended a 12 ft. unit for a 3 bedroom house but I picked a 16 foot instead. Even with expert packing (think Tetris with boxes), we still had trouble getting everything to fit. Plan for bigger than you think you need. read more

They were prompt and very helpful with the process of getting the pod to me and getting it back to storage. There was a mix up in my behalf on the payment situation. This has been the worst experience of my life. 1st I was advised of the wrong size pod to get for my move. Not a big problem. The gentleman that delivered my Pod happened to be the manager and was great in assisting getting me the proper size. I called CS to make the change as I knew the rate would go up some. It jumped $1200. I had no choice at this time so I did it. I was informed the funds already paid would be credited to new order. A week later still not showing and it is showing I'm past due. I called and the rep was very rude and didn't try to assist but kept stating I needed to make a payment. I made a payment but not a full payment as I needed the credit to show to get the final amount. I then received a call from the collection dept and was informed they don't even see where a credit was to be issued and that they would have someone from the billing company to contact me in 24 hours. Never got that call. I'm the mean time I am speaking with the manager of the local station. He is trying to assist in the matter as well. A couple days later I called again and spoke with a very nice lady that figured out what went wrong and stated she was sending the forms to have this corrected. A couple more days go by and still nothing. I call as the move is fast approaching and my account is not showing the delivery date I requested. I'm advised this is nothing to worry about and everything will be updated and delivered on time. Also during this time they are trying to debit my account for the funds. I advised them I never setup for auto pay. Night before the delivery they debit the account and take the full payment. I call as soon as the office opens and inform them I want to speak with a manager. The rep is nice but not able to help me nor get a mgr to the line after being on the phone with him for over an hour. At this point I'm furious as I'm in a new state, have movers scheduled to unload this pod, that I now have to cancel, have no idea when my pod will be delivered, and they have stolen money from me. The rep hung up on me as he couldn't take the heat nor would he put a mgr on the line. I called back and after 35 mins of going round and round they get me to someone that can't do anything and tries to reschedule my delivery 3 weeks out. I ask for his Mgr and he says he can't and then she is in a meeting. I refuse to get off the phone until someone resolves this matter. All they do is say someone will call you back. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! read more

Just finished using UNITS for our move while we were in transition and I'm so glad we did. What a great convenience to load up your furniture right outside your front door and have it delivered 4 months later to your new home. Being in AZ in the summer I definitely didn't want the furniture in the heat so the air conditioned warehouse was a lifesaver for our belongings. There were no hidden fees and they were straightforward in what the costs would be. They were friendly when calling, dropping off and picking up and they arrived when they said they would. We used Units when we moved from Phoenix to Sedona. We were extremely happy with their service. They folks that own this particular Units are local. It was like dealing with a small company where customer service is a priority, not waiting on hold. Their prices were competitive. The unit itself was probably the cleanest storage unit I have ever seen. I was not embarrassed to have it on our property in Phoenix or Sedona. Units was a lifesaver! They made the logistics of my complicated move so much easier and for such an affordable rate. In a nutshell, I was not even living in Phoenix yet when the movers informed me that they were about to deliver my items (note: the truck arrived earlier than what I was told by the moving company). Naturally, I was in a panic and needed to find a storage facility as quickly as possible since the delivery was in less than a day. Step in Paul Cardosi - he calmed me when I was panicking and walked me through what Units would do for me and assured me that they handle last minute requests like mine at the drop of a hat. He was right! In less than 12 hours, my items delivered to Units and Paul's team and my friend handled putting my stuff into a pod without any trouble at all. In fact, I was worried that I didn't receive a frustrated or panicked or questioning phone call from anyone but like they say, no news is good news! When I finally had my pod delivered to my newly found apt., the Units driver, Ezekial was so kind and so efficient with placement of the pod to help me be able to unload it the easiest way possible. When I opened the pod, everything was placed carefully and strategically to avoid any damage of my items. All in all, I was so thrilled with the ease of the whole process and at the kindness of all the people at Units that I would highly HIGHLY recommend to anyone in the area who is in need of a storage system. My timing changed a few times due to the contractor's schedule and Units adjusted without issue. I'm SO happy we found and worked with UNITS over PODS. The people I spoke to at PODS told me I couldn't get one delivered until the first week of June - UNITS had one out the next day. Their price was way better than PODS and I got insurance and extra coverage for cheaper than the base price of other competitors in the area. The office staff and drivers were all more than great to work with and were able to answer all my questions and work with our needs - a few week long local move. We had it brought to the house we moved out of a few weeks ahead of time and then had it moved to the new place 5 miles away the same day and even with a busy day after a holiday weekend, they came to pick it up once it was empty 30 minutes after I called to let them know it was ready. We didn't break anything in this move which is probably our most successful yet haha and the drivers didn't drive crazy with it loaded. Great local company with awesome employees! read more
