Our family and pets were having horrible nausea, headaches and called in Gordon May 2023 and he said there is a Freon leak and that his company serviced the system in 2019. He added more Freon even though we asked why a New unit would be leaking. He said he didn't know, but could check for $300 more dollars. He got it running and left after we paid $450 for service call without any diagnosis. Continued problems, so we called in another company for second opinion. The Freon Gordon added destroyed the havoc coil and compressor and filled our furnace eztrap with Freon and oil. That is what was making us sick. There is leak in the furnace evaporator coil where they retro fitted the drainage pipe. So the entire system inside and out has to be replaced. A $10k loss for us. Cool Techs takes no accountability and disregards the medical harm caused to us and our pets, let alone the fire hazard to us and the entire condo building. I will file a DPOR, BBB complaint and we will be filing court documents against this company. Hopefully, the State of Virginia will not allow this company to ever work here again.
