After we installed new oak flooring in our…read morekitchen on our own, we realized we needed a custom wood piece to transition between the new, raised kitchen flooring, and the existing, lower dining room flooring. We needed a thick wood saddle with eased, smooth edges on the lower end and a lip on the higher side to bridge the gap between both floors. We also wanted a material that would transition well. I sketched out a custom profile for Alex, and he recommended using an unfinished piece of white oak, which I could stain to my liking. Not only does it look fantastic, but it's also incredibly sturdy! Alex truly knows his products, was honest about manufacturing timing, and provided really competitive pricing. Great personality, down to earth guy, and a local craftsman. I will definitely be a repeat customer!
