This is actually a correction to a previous review The…read morereview I had posted earlier Was a mistake It was actually meant for another clinic altogether and I had posted it here by mistake I felt I got a fair evaluation during my dot physical I have non-insulin treated diabetes Which means I take non-insulin medications to control my diabetes They just wanted a recent A1C test from my primary care physician And since it was at or below 10 I passed So they didn't get ridiculous with their requirements I was able to easily find out what was required over the phone before I even showed up for the visit They basically just check for hearing, vision, numbness in the feet and hands, because diabetics can lose sensation in their feet and hands as a result of elevated blood sugars as well as excess protein in the urine Which can indicate kidney disease (It can also be a sign of a high protein diet such as low carb) Diabetes can destroy nerve endings Causing diabetic neuropathy So that's why the feet and hands are checked for numbness I've had DOT physicians ask for ridiculous things like a recent eye exam, a note from my doctor about my blood pressure, etc That's not even necessary if you pass the eye exam and blood pressure test during the exam If a person fails the eye exam while wearing their corrective lenses then by all means they should ask for a recent eye exam to make sure there are no eye diseases like diabetic retinopathy, Glaucoma and other conditions that can be complications of diabetes So they didn't ask for unnecessary things as part of my physical Which didn't put any undue burden on me as a CDL holder I feel that a DOT exam should be focused on safety for the driver and for all of the other drivers on the road And I felt that my DOT examination was just that It was about safety, not about putting and unfair burden on me, by inconveniencing me with unnecessary requirements I have also had dot examiners lie to me and tell me that things that they were asking for were legal requirements when they were not I have even been asked for a sleep study by other DOT physicians And I was told that it was law that I had to have one Which is not true That's actually nothing but fat discrimination Because skinny people can have sleep apnea too That did not happen here at afc So yeah if you're a non insulin control diabetic, just get a recent A1C from your doctor and take it to your visit And if everything else is good Like blood pressure, vision, etc You should be fine

Everyone that helped me throughout the entire visit: Robin Alley, Semone, Laurie, Danielle and Dr Brittany Congress!! Everyone was so kind and helpful. X-rays were done. And, a couple of days later, someone from the office called to check how I was doing! I was pleasantly surprised with an urgent care that was not only thorough but kind as well. If you need medical help, this place won't let you down!!

They made it a very comfortable environment for my daughter because she was nervous. Total wait time was approximately 10 minutes before we got to the back. We were immediately triaged by nurse Amanda and the doctor came within 5 minutes of her leaving the room. I would highly recommend this Urgent care for children. FYI, They also are prepared for children with Sensory Processing Disorder and help accommodate them during their visit. This is awesome for my youngest daughter to know that she is being cared for in the best way possible.

Emergency Room is Great. ‼ DO NOT give Birth here…read more They will literally try to control EVERY single aspect of your Birth and Delivery Process. The birthing staff was fantastic. The Postpartum Staff were Terrible. Only Great staff besides Dr. Lilly and Dr. Pause/Paws (however you spell it) are Blanche, and Angie. Oh, and the Social Worker. The Hospital Social Worker, Jessica, did her job so well, with Providing Skills and Resources. She went above and beyond. The One Lactation Consultant was also Very Helpful. Amanda was her Name. Honestly. I have pushed out FOUR Beautiful Babies. I know a little about how to push when delivering. I've Breastfed ALL of my Children. I don't need Random Strangers grabbing my breasts, and 6 eyeballs staring at me... and putting unnecessary pressure on me while I'm trying to do one of the most challenging things a mother can with her newborn. Honestly Ruined my First Moments with my Daughter. Literally had multiple mental breakdowns while I was there- from staff constantly entering and leaving, telling me what to do, how to do it, when to do it. Every time I'd go to sleep, I swear 20 minutes after... they would come in and wake you up. I was there 5 days. I got MAYBE 10 hours of sleep over the course of that time. It was like a Mental Torture Chamber. Overall, HIGHLY Stressful. Highly Emotional, SUPER distressing and Very Overbearing. Would NOT recommend.

I have gone to this Urgent Care both in the height of COVID and recently (Fall 2022). Wait times…read morewere certainly longer the past few years, as COVID precautions prompted employers and schools to have doc proof of being COVID-free. They were absolutely swamped but I personally still felt that they had an organized system that was very conscious of patient and staff health. They even have a few exam rooms that have outside/separate entrances and will call you in from waiting in your car. Now that many precautions are lifted, it seems wait times are more normal. I checked in (Oct. 2022) on the Solv app via my phone and it shows wait time and where you are in line. The office called me when they were ready for me to come into the lobby and head back for vitals. It was right at my scheduled appt. time. Front desk staff was very friendly. Then, Pam brought me back and took my vitals prior to April heading in to examine me and chat about symptoms and causes. She was very thorough, patient, and kind. Sometimes, you feel like just another number in a medical office, but it is clear this staff genuinely cares about patients and their health. I only came to urgent care because my GCP is booked out several weeks(even for sick visits) and I was miserable. However, April mentioned several people use her at UC instead of a general care practitioner...and I'm not surprised. Co-pay might be pricier at a UC facility but the experience was as painless as a doc visit can get. I will only use this office when I have an urgent care need instead of others closer to home.

Clean. Empty. Slow. Decent. 2 hr wait times from arrival to leaving including in the exam room…read more Confusing entry to parking lot. We were one of two patients, both waiting for a while. Nobody came in or out of the building + parking lot almost destitute. Waited for two hours, there were three workers. We waited for two hours total during the entirety of the visit. The physician came in, checked it out, said it was probably a cold, prescribed cold medicines and left. We were told we can leave when we're ready, and when we did, all of three of them were chatting (not including receptionist, who was at her station at the front counter throughout all the visit). There was nobody else there patient wise (nor we did we see any other employees) :/ The place looked clean, the building was very empty, eerie. The care quality did not lack anything in particular. I noticed nothing that snagged my attention in a negative manner other than waiting for two hours to get prescribed cold medicine. I'm giving four stars because (pro) it was sanitary, (con) long wait times, and (pro) we were prescribed medicine. It's okay and fairly decent if you don't mind wait times. There's always wait times anyways for clinics. Not shady. Clean. Only noticed trash in the trash can :) Clean parking lot. Wait time is a simple annoyance, nothing more. (Only one patient in your party being seen + there's only one other patient in the building = two hours wait time for our visit) If the parking lot and lobby look empty, you'll be good. Not sure about care experience if busier.
