I just moved to the Georgetown area from California and needed a small storage unit for a couple of months. I googled storage units and this one popped up. It showed there was a 5x5 available for under $30.00 so I chose it because it looked clean and is close to my apartment. As soon as I walk in I notice the manager Katrina give me and my friend a dirty look and did not even greet us. I asked if there was a 5x5 available cause that's what it showed online and she said she didn't know but would look. after looking for 5 mins she rudely informed me that the only thing available was climate controlled as if I still wouldn't book it. I said I would take it, she asked if I want to do the 1 free month or 35% off monthly. I said the free month since I only needed it for two months. She proceeds to tell me its $54.00, I pay and then ask her what that takes me to. She said only June, I ask her I thought I got a free month and she rudely again says I haven't paid anything. I asker her what the $54.00 was that I just paid for then and she says it was for the admin, lock and insurance fee...Not once did she go over pricing with me or tell me what I was paying for, all she said was to swipe my cards. So then I tell her ok well then I want to pay for the month, she charges me an additional $53.00 for the month. I managed a storage facility for 3 years and know this is not how you run one. Super rude management who doesn't go over pricing or any hidden fees, I shouldn't have to pay for insurance or at least inform me that I have to pay for it as well as an admin fee. She also did not tell me how to use the gate code or how to get in or where my unit was located, I had to figure everything out on my own. The whole time we were there I felt like we were inconveniencing her. The two stars is for the gated property and how clean the inside of the unit was but I would not recommend renting here. I wish I would of taken my things else where but after just driving 1,500 miles I was all ready exhausted. read more

I noticed a New storage place called Cube Smart near my house on Westinghouse in Georgetown Texas. I decided to check it out. I was with another storage company that was raising prices and now needed 2 units instead of 1. I parked and was greeted by Mary the GM who held the door for me. I felt valued and important and I had even picked out my storage unit yet. The place just opened so if you need storage with some great specials going on you might want to rent a unit now. Mary and Nick showed me around and we're very patient & friendly with my needs. I rented 2 units on the first floor and I'm very happy with my 2 storage units. I guess I found a ground floor opportunity and some amazing service from the CubeSmart team! The climate control seems cool and they have access to restrooms and water fountains which I really liked. This is the best storage facility I have ever used. I got a large unit for my business to store goods and I have deliveries and pick ups from here with ease. It is clean and well-run. The managers here are nothing short of AMAZING, especially Diana who goes out of her way to help me with whatever I need, truly a godsend. Best Storage Facility in Georgetown! My family has used this storage for at least 10 years. Actually, we have three storage units, I must be a storage hoarder. I love the Manager's at this place (Katrina Muniz). Every time I am there (which is quite often), she is out and about making sure the buildings are in top quality. She always ask if I need help, which is so refreshing coming from her generation. If I owned my own business, I would hire her in a quick minute. I love this store! I went in totally flustered and aggravated from moving all day, bumping my leg and breaking my mother's favorite vase (had been in our family for generations). Brie was so kind and helpful. She brightened my day with her big smile and knowledge regarding the units. She helped me find the perfect size and was so sweet, despite my being irritated. I had made a reservation for a unit at the end of March 2017 expecting to receive the advertised price, which was also verified during the call. When my son went in to sign the actual contract, in May, they initially refused to honor the original agreement, however, after a second phone call....Cubesmart employees, Briana and Paula worked hard to make amends. We received the reserved unit at the price quoted originally, with the terms and Briana even went out of her way to help my son when he had car problems on their property.
