I ordered through Telefloral and University Florist was the local florist that was contracted. I ordered a 23" x 16" plant combo in a modern looking planter (combo of 7 plants). The recipient received a 8-10" basket (I purposely didn't order a basket and upgraded to the modern planter) that contained 4 plants. Avoid this place. Thankfully, Telefloral stood behind the quality discrepancy. read more

I am very disappointed at the order that my office placed for the funeral of a coworker's parent. We ordered the Sweet Violet Trio, and the family received 2 sickly violets and a Christmas cactus so small that the bow hid the plant. I do not recommend this florist. read more

This was the most disappointing floral arrangement. I ordered a $250.00 bouquet for my granddaughter and the arrangement delivered was absolutely nothing like what was advertised, neither in flowers nor in design. In addition, the florist never addressed my complaint. Just not (NOT) up to the task of fulfilling what they advertised. The arrangement delivered was at least 1/3 the size of the photograph in their catalog. read more

This establishment is a joke... For $107 this place promised I would receive Valentine's Day roses on time, I never received the flowers and they still charged my card. I called the owner and she said they would have it delivered the next day which I kindly asked for a refund. After asking, they never returned my call and the flowers never came. My wife received a small arrangement of roses & lilies in a glass cube from her Aunt. Within 3 days the roses were brown, wilting & losing petals. Called to express our disappointment. Three other arrangements from two other florists were great. Offered 3 times to send a picture-no interest or willingness to offer compensation. Apologized & said their roses are always fresh. The arrangement I got was very poorly crafted. Cheap flowers. They looked fake. I've used many different florists before, and paid the same amount for much nicer arrangements. I would recommend telling them exactly what you want. Leave it to them and you will be disappointed. read more

Horrible!!!! I ordered a nice 24"x18" arrangement for my wife's birthday from 1-800-FLOWERS. This florist sent a little bouquet in a cheap vase that was about 8" tall. I called them to complain All they did was make excuses. Finally they agreed to send another. It was maybe 18", which would be the small, although ordered the large. I took them to the website to see the picture and they still couldn't get it right. I will NEVER use them again!!!! read more

okay so i need to vent a little and fair warn anyone thats uses oxford university florist so get ready!! for one they are so rude!! amyways i called them yesterday to address an issure with a floral spray arrangement i order because they are the florist that colemans funeral home uses for any floral arrangements through their website!! and mind you not i placed my order saturday with a guaranteed delivery before visitation 4-6 on sunday and what do you know my arrangement didnt get delivered until yesterday before the funeral!! so yesterday when the owner herself at oxford university florist answered the phone i began to tell her my issue at hand!! i simply stated that i order floral spray arrangement and it was nothing like the arrangement i had picked out in the pic and paid $146 plus change on saturday!! she immediately cut me off to inform me that this is the exact reason i shouldn't order online i said well it was also supposed to have a ribbon saying dear friend and it said beloved friend and it was guaranteed delivery for sunday before visitation not only did it look nothing like the one i order but it wasnt delivered until monday!! well she proceeded in a very hugf rude voice that she saw my spray and it was beautiful and they used so many flowers i told her it looked very thin poor and sad nothing like what i was promised to get!! so i explained to her that i had already talked with glen the director of the funeral home mind you is a friend and he said he was going to make it right. i told her this was a very dear friend of mine that lost a daughter and the daughter was also a dear friend also that left behind a beautiful baby boy and i wanted an arrangement that represented shelbi but what i received was awful she said im going to call glen but please mam dont order off line anymore so this doesnt happen again!! well i can assure you it won't and i will never walk through her doors again!! with all this said the owner never once called me to say she didn't have the flowers needed for what i was wanting nor did she inform me it wasn't going to deliver on time!! she had no sympathy for me at all she was so rude and cut throat!! it honestly broke my heart i was in tears when i got off the phone with her!!! i will never do business here ever again and for anyone else that does business there hope you have better luck than me!! but a shout to glen he stood by his word and he made it right!!! lesson learned don't order floral arrangements off the funeral home website because university florist is the one who will be making your sad horrible looking arrangement!!! read more
