To start off, if I could give this a negative rating, it would absolutely get -5 stars. This is one…read moreof the worst places I have ever been to. I got a work related injury to my elbow. I contacted my company's workers compensation department and they approved me to go to any place that I wanted to go, meaning I could go to an Orthopedist of my choosing. I found one, a good one, and they believed it to be a bad case of tendonitis in the elbow. So I got a cortisone shot, went to physical therapy. 6 months later, elbow, started to hurt once again. Did same thing, called workers comp, went to same doctor, shot, therapy. Fast forward 4 months later, my elbow hurts even worse than it did before. I call workers comp and tell them my situation and they proceed to say I need to have an IME done (never telling me what IME was, despite me asking). I found out it is some type of a medical evaluation and they required me to come to this place, Medical Evaluation Specialist in Brockton. I said, why can't I go back to the same place I went to before because they can do the evaluation there. They said this is required. So I go there and it was a complete waste of my time. They didn't x-ray, didn't do any testing, nothing. I met with Dr. Nicoletta and he was a complete screwball if you ask me. He sits down and talks to me as if he is a therapist, which he is not, and we both stand up and all he does is press on the area where it hurts and it hurt very badly when he did that. His answer was "this heals with time" and I said "that's it? Nothing else?" I can't exercise the area, I can barely hold a pillow without screaming in pain. I come to find out a week later that this idiot Dr. Nicoletta sent a report to Workers comp telling them that no further treatment is needed. So workers comp is unable to approve my visit to the orthopedic specialist place I wanted to go to. So basically what these criminal at MES did was see me, improperly evaluate me, write a bogus report and send it to workers comp to deny me anything further. I am going to take legal action at this point, first I am going to report MES and Dr. Nicoletta (doesn't even deserve to be called a doctor), and then I am going to contact an injury attorney to find out if I have a case. Please avoid this place like the plague. It should be shut down immediately and that quack doctor should be revoked his license immediately.

MY ortho Dr who had sent me to him and had told me what he had hoped I could achieve, by the end of 4 months was saying "WOW" at the fact that I had surpassed his expectations. My last visit with him told me that he used my xrays to show his collegues that you do not need surgery. He (MIKE) is thorough and notices it all. Researches each and every sympton or question . My last injury, when I was told that I would regain very little use of my right arm.......and that Dr questioned why I would expect any results from Physical therapy, I still insisted on a RX to go to Mike. AND, here I am. and guess what ...that Dr is still in shock!!! I have other family members who go to Rich and would RAVE about their treatment with him. Marathon in Easton can not be rated high enough. Emily tops!!. They are all trained well and work well with any of the clients that I encounter there. A1 with anyone that I have ever met there.. A1 with my family members. And the friends who know me, are soooo impressed by the results they see with me. I can not laud them, enough because I have seen what mediocre can be and there people are A one. And I would say, underrated by the medical community, but then I have shown them how wrong they have been, signed proudly, Karney Eldridge

While the actual PT and Therapists are great, the cancellation and mask policies are unreasonable…read more 24 hours advance notice of cancellation is required. In my situation, I missed a session due to a migraine, then had to cancel another session due to a critical personal matter. I called literally 23.5 hours in advance of the personal matter cancellation and was forced to pay a $25 fee because of 'my attendance record.' I also wanted to mention they make you wear a mask while you do PT. I have asthma and requested an exception, but was denied. Keep in mind this is 2023... literally no places force you to wear a mask anymore. They need to change this policy and modernize their archaic approach when it comes to masks.
