If I could possibly give negative stars I would. This company and its owners have defrauded over 16 families who are hard working and not necessarily able to afford such a financial hit. They never paid their sub contractors and the subcontractors have now taken me and others to court in order to recoup the money unlimited Solar failed to pay them. This review will be mixed. First and foremost, my sales representative, John Henry, has been amazing! I am a very picky buyer and shopped around to 10 different companies before choosing Unlimited. John Henry not only answered all of my questions but gave me even more information than I asked for. When I made my decision, this company had a 5-star rating on Yelp, a 4.8-star rating on Google, and an A+ rating on BBB. Throughout the process, John stayed in contact with me and kept me apprised of each step. The installation went smoothly, and everything was approved by the inspectors. My panels don't cover all my electricity, but they are working properly. The issue I have with this company has to do with their lack of commitment to keeping their word. One of the reasons I chose this company is because they promised me a referral fee of $1000 for bringing them new business. My sister was also looking to put solar panels, so she decided to go with this company around the same time. I was told the referral fee would come once her project was completely installed, but it never came. Time and time again, I was told it was coming. Then, the company started blaming the pandemic and financial struggles for their inability to pay me what was promised to me. My sister and I paid over $70,000 on our projects, but they had the audacity to try to say they didn't have the money to pay me a referral fee that they PROMISED. It's been over a YEAR of me trying to get what is owed to me. Now, they don't even answer the phone. They have a recording and NEVER return the calls. I have many friends who have asked me who did my panels because they now want to put them on their roofs, and despite the great job that Unlimited did, I refused to recommend a company that does not stand by their word. read more

This company under performs every time. In 2020 we were promised a system that would meet 100% of our home's energy requirements. We are not engineers so we had to rely upon the the company's experience and judgment. Therefore, we signed a contract for a system based upon the sales agents' computations. The result was the installation of a roof top solar system that is producing only 60% of our requirements and less than even the contractually agreed amount. When I reached a compromise settlement involving the installation of four additional panels and the promised solar attic vent fan (as provided for in the company's original brochure) they delayed for months and then failed entirely to deliver. They called and said that there is a delay with the Tesla Power walls that were ordered and keep pushing back my installation of my Power walls. Avoid this company, shop around ask for pictures of done projects. My roof is a mess because of subpar installation. Our roof is brand new and had no leaks, after installation of solar it has several leaks. First they tried to say it was past warranty after only being installed a few months before. Then they finally have a guy come look at it "as a courtesy to me" he goes into the attic looks at the leaks and says it's pre existing damage not something they did. Remember no leaks for 10 months prior to install several leaks post install. So I'm hanging Xmas lights yesterday and got on the roof. 100% terrible installation broken tiles misaligned tiles improperly sealed tiles. Pics are worth a thousand words. Buyer beware I contacted these people i January 2020, in February I had my panels installed but they wanted to get away with not installing my back-up battery that was in the contract. Their installers trashed my backyard, with electrical, cardboard and food debris. I caught one urinating in the canal, exposing himself to my neighbors and family. Do you think they seemed concerned when complained about it? No! Nine months later, I do not have my back-up battery and when I speak with their "reps" ((bunch of low lives) one had the gull to call me A DICK! I would not recommend these people to my worst enemy. ***Buyer Beware*** 0 Stars if I could On 10/10/2019 I signed a contract with Unlimited Solar. My system was designed based on an annual system usage of 19,488 KWH. I provided them the following pool heater information: Aqua Cal SQ145- 119,000 BTU's, running approximately 14 hours a day, maintaining a 90 degree temperature, and running the pool for 10 months out of the year. Engineer calculated two (2) additional panels for the pool heater. My system of 8.25 KW for a total of 22 panels would be sufficient. System is under performing and only produced 11,955 KWH and with the addition of the pool heater my system used 27,066 KWH for the year. Unlimited Solar refuses to rectify the problem advising a proposal of 13,387 was agreed. Proposal was not signed by me but the contract I signed stated 22 panels 375 watts based on annual usage of 19,488 KWH. Contract states if under performing additional panels would be installed at no cost. Total cost of system was $45,621 with a promise of no electric bill. Paying monthly FPL bill. I hope this complaint is addressed and that I am made whole. I reviewed my contract and it does not state an estimated annual usage, which I find misleading in itself. My annual usage before the system was installed was 19,488. The solar system only produced 11,955 KWH and with the addition of the pool heater my system used 27,066 KWH for the year. At the very least, additional solar panels are needed to cover my original usage of 19,488 and additional panels would cover the remaining balance from 27,066. Unlimited Solar refuses to contact any of their customers until complaints are filed with an attorney or with the Better Business Bureau. If every one of my co-workers along with myself are having issues, then the work program to calculate a solar system was wrong or the engineer who calculated the system was wrong. Remember I was promised only a $10 monthly bill, now I am paying for the solar panels and a monthly bill which puts me over my original monthly FPL bill of $200 on budget billing. I did write an original review of 5 stars but after a year of waiting and the lack of communication, I would NOT recommend this company. I wanted to update my review placed on 1/23, I have received my Powerwalls. At this juncture, I am waiting on FPL to perform their portion of the job. I and the company leadership have had multiple discussions regarding the backup batteries, but we were able to come to an amicable agreement. While there continue to be delays on the Tesla products, I believe, frequent communication regarding the delays would assuage frustrations from customers. read more

***BUYER BEWARE!!!!*** 0 Stars if I could! On 10/4/19 I signed a contracted with Unlimited Solar to have a solar panel system installed at my residence with the objective to run my entire house solely off of solar power. I signed the contract with my sales agent Andrew Hopta and was quoted at needing a system to cover the 28,224 kWh that my family uses. Unlimited Solar calculated my annual consumption advising we needed a 19.5 kW solar system which is comprised of 52 panels and 52 inverters totaling $67,875. Unlimited Solar did not need to make my house any more green due to my family already having done this prior to seeking a solar system. I was advised by Andrew that once Unlimited Solar completed my solar panel system installation and my system was running, I would only be receiving an FPL bill for $9.00 a month which is for a standard hook up fee and that my house would be running completely on the solar system. My solar panel system was to be completely installed by the holiday season. Unfortunately at this point, it was not. However I received a phone call from the Finance Manager asking if I would sign off on the job stating it was completed and to release the funds so they could pay their employees for the holidays. I reluctantly did so. He promised me things would be completed the following week which they weren't. I've had multiple issues with this company during the installation phase to include all the pallets of solar panels placed in the middle of the driveway, blocking access and usage of my driveway for almost three months. I have also had an issue with the aluminum flashing which looked like crushed aluminum cans on my roof. I had to fight with the company to have these removed . Then the company told me the job could not be finished because my flat roof was bad. They informed me of this on a Thursday and by Saturday of the same week, I had the flat roof replaced and ready for the solar work to commence to ensure there would not be any delay. I contacted the company and sent them photos of the replaced roof to notify them it has been fixed. No one from the company came out to continue working for a whole week later. During the lengthy installation phase there were long periods of where no workers responded to my house. Finally, the job was completed mid February (which it was originally supposed to be completed in December). The solar system was installed and operational in February 2019. Between the months of January 2019- July 2019, I received a bill somewhere around $100-$170. I then contacted Unlimited Solar and spoke with Chris Ansbro who reviewed my system with Brice Johnson. I was told that Unlimited Solar under estimated my system, however, to gain a better perspective of how many additional panels would be installed, the system would have to run for a period of 1 year from the date it went operational. I guaranteed by Chris Ansbro that additional panels would be installed at no charge to me as well as reimbursing me for each monthly bill I received and would receive until the correction was made. I then did not hear from any representative of Unlimited Solar for the remainder of the year. At the beginning of January 2021, I contacted Chris Ansbro via his cell phone number that he provided to me. Chris Anbro responded back to me that he no longer worked for the company. Mind you, I had already been contact by Andrew Hopta who advised he no longer worked with Unlimited Solar as well as Harold who left in the summer of 2020. On 03/26/21, I spoke with Christopher with Unlimited Solar who advised he would come out to my house to look at my system and realized the system wasn't hooked up properly and was giving a false reading of consumption showing we use less than what we really do. Christopher said to give him two weeks to get new calculations even though he could already tell our system was undersized and that there were not enough solar panels installed to produce our levels of consumption. It has now been over a month and I have not heard anything back from the company. I have reached out to the company numerous times in which I have not been able to speak with anyone nor has anyone returned my phone calls. I myself with four (4) additional co-workers signed a contract with Unlimited Solar for installation of solar panels. Each person that signed a contract has had an issue with their solar production as they are under performing. Because of my system under-producing, I have been paying a solar bill and an electric bill for over a year now! The solar panel system was a huge expense for our house and is something you should research thoroughly before committing to a company. They are incompetent amateurs! They install cheap Chinese panels that produce only about half of the electric power they promised. I been meaning to write my experience with this company for a while just never got around to it I gess just wanted to forget the experience I had with them. First in the installation team asked for a day witch I could make but coming home for lunch found them in my house installing I blew up kicked everybody out threatened to call the cops and I posted installation for 30 days. They said the inspector let them in I said who let the inspector in was really mad they apologize bought me a bottle of whisky and beg to come back. I let them finish the work and nothing worked they came back and rewired everything after the inspection was done, they promised Me my panels would produce more than I need I would have a credit with fpl thats a lie I still get a bill not much less than my regular bill and to get a technical support forget it. They also promised me a fueling station never got it. Wouldn't recommend them to nobody read more
