After a horrible experience at the Toyota car dealership in Kirkwood, and another locksmith in U-City literally hanging up on me, Emanuel went above and beyond to make me a new key for my ignition. He was able to meet me in less than 45 minutes, and the key-cutting process probably took 20 minutes. He was professional and personable. I was testing a spare key in my front door to give to a friend as contingency in these COVID times, when the key broke off in the lock, and I couldn't get it out. Called Unlock It on Saturday around 5:45 pm. Got a response within a few minutes, he was on another call quite a few miles away and would get to be me next. Showed up a little after 7, popped out the broken key in a few minutes! He was only going to charge me the on-site service fee, which was lower than I expected. I gave him an extra big tip. Emmanuel is fantastic! I had to call him on two separate occasions. Once was to retrieve my keys that I had locked in my car. On the second occasion, I lost my car keys somewhere in Denver. Everyone that the Nissan dealership referred me to for a new key wanted to charge me an arm and a leg. Once again, Emmanuel was an absolute GODSEND and did it cheaper than anyone else would have. If I could give this place zero stars I would!! I called because I lost my car key & needed someone to come to me to make a new one. When the guy called me back, he asked for information that I had already given. I simply said " didn't I already give that info"? The guy with a foreign accent literally went on a racist rant calling me a slave & several other racial slurs & curse words. I felt so threatened that I called the police. Had another great experience with Unlock It Locksmith. In the past they have rekeyed door locks for us, but on this occasion I needed a damaged file cabinet key replaced. The big box DIY store could not do it, but Unlock It Locksmith was able to replace the key the same day and save me any further frustration of trying to track down a replacement key.
