Unos is not a regular stop of mine but I've been here more than a few times. Today 9 of us, 5 adults, 4 little kids stopped in around 1pm on a Friday. There were a few diners. We were all seated together and I was impressed by the seating options for a larger group. We told our server we were going to be 2 groups for payment purposes. This was not a problem. When the little ones shared a meal she brought an extra plate. When we ordered shamrock shakes she brought us smaller cups to split them between the kids. So we were very pleased with our server, Minnie. The food was acceptable. The unsweet tea was very nicely brewed and another of us said the same about the sweet tea. The little ones ate most all of the mac and cheese, which was box kraft type mac an cheese and what kid doesn't love that? Two of us got Italian wedding soup which was very watery and steaming hot. It tasted ok but probably will not get it again. I've had better. Meat lover type personal pizza was a whole lot of sauce and hidden meat. All in all we all ate what we ordered with a few to go containers, and kids were happy. Restaurant was clean, nicely appointed. Good choice for us today. My bill for 3 adults and 2 kids ordering off the lunch menu plus shakes and tea came to about $90 with tip. read more

This is my go-to place. At 9 months pregnant, I saw Sonic. First date after the baby, Unos. We love our regular server, but have had excellent service with all of them. We love our go-to meal items (gluten-free pizza, salmon, and caprice sandwich), but have not been disappointed when we try something new, except we want to eat a double meal. The place was no packed and did not seem very busy. It was a Sunday around 6pm at the start of Football season. We were seated fairly quickly. Our wait staff was Quaya and she was very nice and personable. She made recommendations and was very attentive. They have happy hour everyday. I tried their house Chardonnay and it was .... Okay. We started with the crab dip and the initial offering of crostinis that came out were very well toasted. The dip itself was delicious, though. I ordered the create your own paste with the creamy sauce, cavatappi pasta, shrimp, tomatoes, and artichokes. The portion was great and plentiful. The sauce was runny/watery for my taste. It was edible. He ordered a steak and shared that the first few bites were nothing but fat, which was off putting. The potatoes and the broccoli were good according to him. Decided to take my kids here for their lunch specials! We each had the pizza and soup special for basically ten bucks. This is an amazing deal as most pizzas cost more than that alone. We had French onion and broccoli cheddar soup those were both very good. The presentation on mine was not the greatest as the cheese was clumpy and over the sides of the bowl but the waitress let us know they make the soups their selves and this was her first time. My sons looked great so she must be a fast learner The pizzas were hot and delicious we definitely had leftovers! The bathroom was pretty clean but the restaurant was very empty today in general I am excited to come back and try their drink offers they have quite a selection and even offer no alcoholic options I could tell the staff are new but they did their best and our experience was a positive one indeed read more

This place is amazing!! James was our server and I couldn't ask for the best most patient server than him! When my mom couldn't speak that well because of her stroke a year ago, he was so patient with her and understand making sure she was well taken care of! I'm so happy for her and was impressed with James! I wish I could give him a raise because he DEFINITELY DESERVES ONE!! The food was amazing and wasn't too expensive for how huge the pizzas were! We ordered the shrimp and dip, numero uno, Chicago classic, farmer's market, and the New York deli deep-dish pizzas for about $81 total. The pizzas are average at best. They're pretty small, but they're quite dense. Each slice packs a punch. The flavor isn't too bad actually. It's still average but better than you would expect honestly. The downside (and the reason why it's mid) is the dough and the crust. The crust legit tastes like canned biscuits. So hard, dry, and chewy like it's bad. I kept thinking about Pillsbury biscuits when I was eating these, and it was unpleasant. So much so that you want to stop eating. But the upside is that it filled me up so YAY! Overall, a place that I wouldn't return to again. Go try it out just to try it out, but just letting you know in advance, it's not that good. read more

Decided to order pizza from Uno after I had a taste for deep dish pizza however I wasn't overly pleased with my order. We ordered the family meal for $30 and were shocked with the pizza size. Although we did get an appetizer and a drink with it I don't think it was money well spent because we were both still hungry after eating it. Tonight the sirloin and shrimp is deliciously perfect, tender and juicy with grilled shrimp like nowhere else I've ever tried. I am an UNO pizza fan and always excited when it's an option. While in town, I was glad to see this was an option on Doordash. Placed an order for a small pizza, small deep dish, kids chicken tenders, bread pudding bites, wings, a drink and kids spaghetti. The total was about $100. With the distance being pretty close, the estimated time was about 35 minutes. The dasher arrived and apologized for the wait. She mentioned the restaurant was empty but was told the kitchen was backed up. After an additional twenty minute wait, she brought the food over. Perhaps the amount of online orders was too much? We were missing the wings and kids spaghetti. The deep dish was not baked all the way through. Im guessing as a result of trying to get it done quickly. The bread pudding bites were burnt. On the bright side, the cheese pizza was good and no issues with the chicken tenders. I was disappointed with the food esp for the price to say the least. Um, yeah this is not a place we will return too. Food was blah, restaurant was not too clean, and service was ok except for that smoke break she needed to squeeze in. My friend who was in town was looking for some deep dish pizza. We did not want to go to far so we came here to Unos. We made a reservation via open table so we can get the points. When we walked in then hostess said, " Oh, I do not even look at that." That was her response when I told her about the reservation. I assume it was because they do not have that many people dining due to covid and probably because it is not on many people's radar anymore. We were seated in a nice large booth which was nice. Our waitress was great and attentive for the most part. But, at one point she went out for a smoke break. When she came back she smaller like cigarette smoke and body spray. Ugh!!! That is such a pet peeve of mine. The food was not the best. My friend ordered a chicken Caesar salad. When it came out the chicken had a horrible smell and lacked flavor. It was not seasoned at all. It was also very juicy to the point where so thought it may have been a little raw. She did not eat it at all. I'm totally ok with not returning. I live two miles from the Kiln Creek location in Virginia. I spent over 50,00 to receive a pizza that was ice cold in the middle and had raw sausage and ground beef. I never got offered a refund but corporate sent me an apology like that fixed everything. Food poisoning isn't a joke. One of favorite places to eat !! Our group bought a couple dishes and then split everything . Our waitress Kayla was very good! She kept drinks filled and came back multiple times to check on us! For years now, I have wanted to like Uno's more than I do. It seems like once a year or so I go, "Man, Chicago style pizza sounds great! Let me try Uno's again!" and I am always disappointed. It's not terrible, it's just not great. And for the price you end up paying, in addition for the wait time it takes for the pizza to cook, it's just not worth the trip. On my most recent visit, I sat outside in their covered bar/patio area so that I could do karaoke and grab a quick bite. I ordered a glass of wine and a personal pizza. And it was okay, but really only marginally a step up from something you'd pick up in the frozen pizza section at the grocery store and pop in the oven. In fact, I may have had better frozen pizza now that those are getting more bougie by the day. When the salad arrived, it was basically mixed greens with a few strips of grilled chicken. It was actually hard to find berries, goat cheese or walnuts in the salad. The Server named Kyle was the best server my boyfriend and I have ever had. I spoke the manager and told him that if he hires new employees he should have him train them. Also, keep him in mind when they give employees raises. Kyle the server knows how to check on his customers (us) with out being a nuisance or making us feel like we're neglected. He came by every so often to see if we needed anything. The manager said he's been there for 7 years. I hope he stays. This is the exact example of the type of servers EVERY RESTAURANT NEEDS. This is not what I would like to pass along but the worst Pizza delivery experience that I have ever had. I paid $30 and felt that they owed me money after this event. Don't order from here, go with the easier everyday local/Nationwide chain. At least it will be cheaper and you can expect the big machine to fail in their service. I waited over two hours for a pizza delivery to my hotel from 4 blocks away and they still did not even bring it to my room. I ordered the pizza through the Yelp Delivery app and asked for notifications. My ordered lingered until finally I picked my head up from my work and saw that the yelp delivery app customer service prompt asked me if they could help. They (yelp app customer svc) then called the store that said that the store was having issues out of their fax machine and never got my order. Here is the thing, if your fax is out, is that a you problem or a customer problem when the customer has paid already and tipped in advance and can't get their money back? So the Yelp app delivery agent did not have anyway to give further considerations, from what he replied, the store finally made my order and delivered to the lobby. Customer service is not just showing up to work, it is making the customer happy. I am not happy, I did not like the lateness of my pizza, the size of my pizza and this experience shows me that this store thinks that an over two hour late delivery is ho-hum run of the mill and needs no manager/supervisor follow up or help to re-invigorate good service. No reply from them will suffice, blame technology, go ahead I dare you, you don't have a backup fax? Fail!!! Your order takers didn't notify management of this lateness? Ask yourself why they didn't think to tell you? Fail!!! I can't get my money back? Fail and reason to write this review to warn others. I am sorry doesn't even fix this over 2 days later when I thought to cool down before I wrote the review. My fiancé and I haven't been to an Unos in years, so we figured we'd try it out. We sat at the bar and it took a white for the bartender to acknowledge us. It wasn't busy, it was after 9pm on Mother's Day. There were a total of 5-6 people at the bar, including us two. The menu is large with so many options! We both ordered pizza and it was actually delicious. The part where things start going downhill was when I needed a refill and the bartender never came to check on us AND when she disappeared for 20 mins when we were trying to get our check from her. I love the Chicago Classic deep dish pizza. But the 12" that i took home tonight was nothing short of horrible...and I paid $30 for it. Really, this was "deep dish" only if your dish is a paper plate. It was about 5/8" total thickness with 2/2 crust. They seem to have left off tomatoes and cheese. Ah, who needs all that anyway. "So why complain on Yelp?" you ask. Well, there is no other place to do it. The Uno website is very difficult to use when it comes to complaining - much easier to place an order! My wife and I decided to go on another of our PIZZA SAFARI's, where we try another Coastal VA pizza restaurant in pursuit of finding the best ideas for our own creations. If you can't decide which pizza, do the 2 for $12 option! I did, and chose the Roasted Eggplant, Spinach & Feta thin crust and the Chicago Deep Dish classic. These are personal size pizzas. This was just what I was looking for, something on a pizza I have never tried, and in this case, it was the roasted eggplant. Excellent!! It is roasted at 425 degrees for 6 to 8 minutes, according to our waitress. I will be trying this at home. Even though the Chicago Deep Dish Classic is what they are known for, I preferred the other. My wife got the 2 for $12, starting with the Wedge salad and a Pepperoni Deep Dish. I posted photos of each pizza. Environment is good, like a traditional pizza restaurant should be. Wait staff was very attentive - made the experience better. Kept the refills going before even asking. So why 4 out of 5 stars? While the pizzas were very good, I would deduct a star for the thin and deep dish crusts. I favor a NY style crust, and I have also experienced better deep dish crust at Giordano's. read more
